[OVERVIEW]
Frogadier possesses one of the greatest abilities in the game in Protean, which gives it STAB on any move it uses, making it a powerful wallbreaker. It's a very versatile Pokemon thanks to its high base Speed that allows it to outpace base 95 Speed Pokemon such as Jynx and its diverse movepool that allows it to hit most of the tier for at least neutral damage. Frogadier's great movepool isn't limited to attacks, as it is one of the fastest and most viable Pokemon that can set up Toxic Spikes; as it forces switches, it can set up one layer with ease, and one of the common entry hazard control Pokemon in Xatu has a hard time switching in, as it's threatened by a Protean Ice Beam. Despite its multiple STAB moves, Frogadier's average Special Attack holds it back. Its poor defenses also make it so frail that it cannot take even resisted hits, and its lack of immunities leaves it with no opportunities to switch in; on top of that, it's easy to revenge kill. It faces competition as a special Water-type wallbreaker from Samurott, which is bulkier and more powerful but not as fast as Frogadier is. Frogadier also faces competition from as another special wallbreaker such as Magmortar and Sceptile, the latter of which is more speedy and powerful with decent coverage moves.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Although it is inaccurate, Hydro Pump offers the most damage output of Frogadier's moves, and due to Frogadier's average Special Attack, it really needs high-Base Power attacks. Ice Beam functions as a reliable move that offers excellent coverage alongside Hydro Pump, hitting the Grass- and Dragon-types that resist it such as Vileplume, Gourgeist-XL, Altaria, and Sliggoo. Gunk Shot is the best coverage move for the third slot, as it hits Hariyama, Mega Audino, Abomasnow, Ludicolo, and Clefairy all in one slot. Grass Knot could be an option to hit bulky Water-types such as Mantine and Samurott for a lot of damage, but it does very little damage to Lanturn, due to its low weight. Frogadier also has access to Toxic Spikes, and as it is a Pokemon able to force switches, it can get a layer down to quickly wear down grounded foes for itself and its teammates.

Set Details
========
Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed allows Frogadier to hit hard and outspeed the most Pokemon it can. Run a Naive nature if you choose Gunk Shot so as to not decrease the damage output, but if you choose Grass Knot in that slot instead, a Timid nature should be your choice. Life Orb offers a much-needed power boost that lets Frogadier ensure KOs or do a hefty amount of damage, and due to its frailness, it doesn't mind taking recoil damage.

Usage Tips
========
Bring Frogadier in with a Volt Switch, U-turn, or Baton Pass user, when a teammate has fainted, or on double switches. Don't bring Frogadier into attacks for any reason, even if they are resisted, because it's unable to take any hit. Frogadier works better if you bring it in early- or mid-game with entry hazards up on the opponent's side of the field, as this way its wallbreaking capabilities are more effective. It also functions perfectly as a late-game cleaner once the opposing team is weakened enough. Toxic Spikes should be used when Frogadier forces out a foe with the threat of a super effective move.

Team Options
========
Frogadier appreciates being paired with Volt Switch, U-turn, or Baton Pass users, as every heavy hitter appreciates momentum. Entry hazard support punishes the many switches that Frogadier forces and is crucial for some 2HKOs; for example, if Stealth Rock is up, Frogadier's Grass Knot has a high chance to 2HKO Mantine, and if one layer of Spikes is up, Frogadier's Gunk Shot has a high chance to 2HKO Hariyama. Frogadier is going to be switching in and out of the field often, as it's easily threatened, and because entry hazards in conjunction with Life Orb recoil will wear it down quickly, Frogadier likes having Rapid Spin or Defog support from a teammate such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, or Pelipper. Physical wallbreakers such as Sawk and Kangaskhan can prove to be useful for taking out the special walls that Frogadier struggles with, and they also take advantage of Frogadier's Toxic Spikes taking down grounded foes more quickly. A Pokemon with access to Healing Wish gives Frogadier another chance to weaken bulky Pokemon that can take several hits and prevent a late-game sweep for a teammate, Mesprit being one of the most common users.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============
Frogadier, due to its large movepool, can have many variants on its moveset; the first of them is Dark Pulse, which can be used for neutral coverage and is a better option against Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Musharna and Rotom. Hidden Power Electric allows Frogadier to hit bulky Water-types such as Mantine, but keep in mind that having this coverage move means Lanturn completely walls Frogadier. Hidden Power Grass, on the other hand, does hit Lanturn and other bulky Water-types. U-turn is a solid option in the last slot, as it functions as a way to gain momentum on a predicted switch, scout the foe, and hit Malamar, which can take multiple special attacks from Frogadier. An alternative set could be a Focus Sash suicide lead with Toxic Spikes, Taunt, U-turn, and a supportive attacking move such as Scald or Icy Wind, making it annoying to face.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon such as Mega Audino, Lanturn, Mantine, Hariyama, and Malamar can eat up Frogadier's Protean-boosted attacks due to their high special bulk and neutrality to its attacks, and they can retaliate with any attack for a lot of damage due to Frogadier's frailness. However, Mega Audino, Lanturn, and Hariyama all take significant damage from Gunk Shot. Mantine is entirely safe unless Frogadier carries Grass Knot as a coverage move, which can hit it for a lot of damage, even 2HKOing if Stealth Rock is up.

**Faster Attackers**: Revenge killers such as Sceptile, Tauros, Archeops, Scyther, and Choice Scarf users are able to outspeed Frogadier and pick it off even with a neutral attack, as Frogadier is too frail to take strong attacks. It's worth mentioning that they can't switch into most of Frogadier's attacks, though, as they are solely revenge killers.

**Priority Attackers**: Hariyama, Skuntank, and Kangaskhan can easily pick off Frogadier with their priority moves, but most of them cannot safely switch in. The effectiveness of their priority moves depends on Frogadier's typing via Protean. For example, if Frogadier is a Water-type, it resists Hariyama's Bullet Punch.

After some discussion with the QC team, we'd like the set to look a bit different.

move 1: Hydro Pump
move 2: Ice Beam
move 3: Hidden Power Electric / Gunk Shot
move 4: U-turn / Toxic Spikes

Dark Pulse, HP Fire, and HP Grass are all rather situational and don't have enough combined targets to warrant a slash, as their main targets are either easy to exploit or can be hit with another coverage move. I'm fine with leaving these three in moves. In addition, Taunt simply isn't that good on Frogadier as its rather slow and would much rather utilize its coverage movepool. Your description of it doesn't exactly give it much credit either, as "shutting down walls" is super generic and doesn't tell me what the move does in the context of this Pokemon. In regards to the changes to the set, Hidden Power Electric is slashed first as it improves Frogadier's ability to break down common defensive cores, targeting the common Mantine and Pelipper. However, Gunk Shot is also useful if you'd rather target the likes of Hariyama and Mega Audino. The fact that you didn't mention Gunk Shot anywhere at all is rather concerning in regards to meta knowledge. The last slot is for utility, U-turn is preferred to take advantage of Frogadier's ability to force switches thanks to its wide movepool, but Toxic Spikes are great for quickly wearing down grounded foes.

I'll take the time to comment on some other stuff.

Overview

This needs a lot of work honestly, as its extremely uninformative and tells me very little about Frogadier in the context of the tier, most of the info here I can figure out from serebii. What I'd like you to do is look at an example of a well written skeleton here, and more importantly, this guide here on writing NU analyses.

Moves

It seems like you arbitrarily put Surf and Scald mentions here, because there really is no reason to run them on Frogadier. Simply put, due to Frogadier's average damage output you really need high powered attacks, and if you want a reliable STAB move you've got Ice Beam. Remove mentions of Scald and Surf.

Give relevant examples of what Pokemon Ice Beam hits.

Set Details

Remove mentions of non Speed-boosting natures, the 95 Speed tier is way too important.

In both usage tips and team options you make note of Frogadier "Sweeping", but this will never occur in a realistic scenario because Frogadier's primary role is that of a wallbreaker, and its simply not going to sweep versus just about any team since they will have one of or both of a Pokemon that outspeeds and KOs Frogadier or something bulky that can take a hit and retaliate.
  • Partners with access to Trick or Switcheroo can choice lock some of the walls and leave a freeway to Frogadier for spam attacks.
Again, this is rather vague and doesn't explain your point very well. Trick and Switcheroo aren't really that common in NU, and I really dislike using the term "wall" in any analysis because its very unclear.

C&C

This also needs significant work, the guide linked above will help. For starters, one line in each section does not cut it, you need to explain more on how the Pokemon check Frogadier and whether or not they are reliable checks (as in if they can switch in safely or are simply revenge killers).

Yet again, the term "physical/special walls" is very vague and should be renamed to "Specially Bulky Pokemon" as it is more direct to the point. Furthermore, regular Audino is not relevant in the slightest and Ampharos does not fit the criteria of this section.

Let me know when you've implemented this and I'll look it over again.

OMG how this happen. In the first place wanna apologize because this is a huge mistake mine, i copy/paste the skeleton for my other analysis and at the time i was writting this something pops up irl and didnt notice about the QC tag. I already write another analysis and got the rmt badge which means I know that this isn't quality at all because this analysis should have the WIP tag still, as you can read it had a lot of flaws. Hope yo udont think this is an excuse because is not.

In regard to the set, i thought on slash HP Electric and Gunk but as you can see my WIP had to many slashes so wanna ask you bout that because to many slashes could confuse players in general. Hidden Power Electric and Gunk are rather situational too in my opinion, allowing Frogadier to only hit Pelipper, Mantine and Mega Audino. Ice Beam 2HKO Defensive Pelipper and Grass Knot 2HKO Mantine with rocks up, however, Grass Knot doesnt hit Lanturn which wall the set you guys propose, and Gunk does a bit more damage than Hydro to physical defensive Mega Audino which both moves have the same accuracy so Hidden Power Grass should considered the strong option allowing Frogadier to hit another Lanturn, at least that my experience using it.

Ready to QC with all your comments boltsandbombers . Also I'm looking forward if the set will maintain as it is now or you guys gonna discuss if HP grass should be slashed first.

move 3: Gunk Shot / Grass Knot
move 4: Toxic Spikes
nature: Naive / Timid

Alright, talked it over with QC again and this is what we came up with. Apologies for the confusion with all these set changes.
After your comment I realized that Hidden Power Electric isnt worth it at all, given that Ice beam 2HKOs Pelipper and its not worth using just for Mantine. Gunk Shot is the best coverage move choice for this slot, as it hits Hariyama, Mega Audino, Abomasnow, Ludicolo, and Clefairy all in one slot. Grass Knot is also a good option to revenge kill Samurott, prevent Barbaracle from setting up on it, and still hits Mantine for a decent chunk. We decided to deslash U-turn as it really doesn't do much outside of hitting Malamar as losing 10% for just getting off chip damage really isn't that great, and if you want to capitalize on switches you gain more from setting up Tspikes. HP Grass and HP Fire aren't good either, as the former is simply not worth using just to hit Lanturn as it is not nearly as common as it used to be, and HP Fire only hits Ferroseed.

Anyways, this is looking much better than before, I'll go over a few more things and you'll be good for the first check.

Overview
As this base Speed is an important benchmark in the tier.
This is pretty much just a filler sentence, remove it please.
It had multiple option in terms of movepool which make it unpredictable, as it can run special, physical or mixed attacker, this last is the most common set. Althought its average power holds it back.
A fully physical set is really not that viable and not worth mentioning in the overview. Shorten this bullet point just saying that it has a diverse movepool allowing it to hit most of the tier for at least neutral damage. The last sentence here should be removed as I'd like it to be its own bullet point later in the overview.
Frogadier have access to U-turn, combined with the ability of forcing switch ins, this move is perfect for gaining momentum or scouting the foe.
Remove this as we've decided to deslash U-turn. In this place, give a bullet point talking about Toxic Spikes, as Frogadier is one of the few viable Pokemon in the tier that can use the move, and the fastest user of it as well. Move the sentence that talks about Frogadier's low Special Attack after this bullet just so that the positives and negatives are grouped together.

Moves

Remove Dark Pulse, HP Grass, HP Electric mentions and move them to OO.
After you've made the set changes above, make sure to reorder the bullet points so that the moves slashed are first and then afterwards HP Grass, HP Fire, and U-turn.
In the bullet point about Gunk Shot, list all of the Pokemon I mentioned earlier as targets.
When you talk about Tspikes, say that it quickly wears down grounded foes, not just "counters".

Set Details

Mention Naive first and say that Timid is used with Grass Knot.

Usage Tips

Add a bullet point for Toxic Spikes, which can simply state that they should be used when Frogadier forces out a foe with a super effective move.
Frogadier can make use of Protean to evade status moves, but keep in mind that Frogadier's frailty makes this play somewhat risky.
What status moves are you avoiding anyways? I don't see the point in saying this.

Team Options
  • Bulky Pokemon with access to slow volt turn, U-turn, or Baton Pass such as Pelipper, Lanturn, and Mawile are great partners because can take hits and bring Frogadier afterward.
Remove Mawile, as the defensive set is pretty much bad and outclassed by Steelix and isnt worth using. I'm not too sure on mentioning Pelipper as a teammate because the types of teams that Frogadier would be on would be very heavy offense based and pelipper fits best on balanced and defensive builds. If you want something with U-turn that is a good teammate, Scyther comes to mind as Frogadier threatens out Rock and Steel types which Scyther U-turns out of often.
  • Entry Hazard support ensure some HKO and also punish every switch as Frogadier force a lot of them.
Give a specific example of a OHKO or 2HKO that entry hazards help out with, for example like you noted beforehand Grass Knot has a high chance to 2HKO Mantine after Stealth Rock.
Again, remove mention of Pelipper.

OO

Remove Choice Specs, Choice Scarf, and fully physical sets.

C&C

In specially bulky Pokemon, a few things need to be changed. Hidden Power Grass and Hidden Power Electric are no longer on the set, so their mentions here should be removed. Note that Mega Audino, Lanturn, and Hariyama all take significant damage from Gunk Shot.

In faster attackers, not that they cant switch into most of Frogadier's attacks as they are solely revenge killers.

Remove mention of Dark Pulse in the priority section because it's moved to OO.

Change the title of the last section to Residual Damage.

After this has been implemented, QC 1/3

  • Frogadier is one of the fastest and viable Pokemon that can set up Toxic Spikes as it forces switch ins can set up one layer with ease.
  • Its poor defense stats make it so frail to the point that it cannot take even resisted hits and on top of that its easy to revenge kill.
- You can also make a mention on Frogadier's ability to deter Xatu thanks to superior Speed and access to Protean Ice Beam.
- Mention Frogadier's lack of immunities as well, leaving it with basically no switch-in opportunities.

  • Ice Beam offers excellent coverage alongside Hydro Pump; hitting Grass- and Dragon-types that resist Hydro Pump such as Vileplume, Cacturne, Altaria and Sliggoo. Also hits super effective Flying-types and is a more accurate way of dealing with Ground-types.
  • Gunk Shot is the best coverage move choice for this slot, as it hits Hariyama, Mega Audino, Abomasnow, Ludicolo, and Clefairy all in one slot. Having this coverage move Frogadier is walled by Ferroseed as it take little damage from Frogadier's STAB Ice Beam.
  • Frogadier also has access to Toxic Spikes. Able to force switches, can get a layer down and quickly wears down grounded foes for itself and its teammates.
  • Grass Knot could be an option to hit bulky Water-types but it doesn't hit harder Lanturn due to its lightness, however, hits Mantine for a lot of damage.
  • Hidden Power Fire offers coverage against Steel-types, althought it only hit Ferroseed being the most common one in the tier, who takes little damage from Frogadier's other coverage options.
- Considering Cacturne is taken down by Gunk Shot, perhaps another target would be Gourgeist-XL, one of the main bulky Grass-types in the tier.
- What's the point of mentioning that choosing Gunk Shot leaves it walled by Ferroseed; it's not like switching to Grass Knot improves the matchup. Remove this point.
- Due to the move order on the set, Toxic Spikes and Grass Knot should switch places here.
- Also, you can bring up foes which Toxic Spikes can whittle down that Frogadier may otherwise struggle with, such as Hariyama, Musharna, and Lanturn
- I'd remove Hidden Power Fire altogether; all it does is hit Ferroseed, and it'd be more worthwhile to put some other move on Frogadier and let a teammate handle Ferroseed.

  • Dark Pulse can be used for neutral coverage and is a better way against Psychic and Ghost-types Pokémon such as Musharna and Mismagius.
  • Hidden Power Electric is one of the coverage move Frogadier can run, as allows it to hit bulky Water-types such as Samurott, Mantine, and Pelipper. Having this coverage move Lanturn completly walls Frogadier.
  • Hidden Power Grass in the other side is to hit bulky Water-types such as Lanturn which otherwise can switch in to Frogadier's attacks.
  • Focus Sash suicide lead with Toxic Spikes, Taunt, U-turn and support attack move such as Scald or Icy Wind could be annoying.
- I wouldn't mention Mismagius as a target since it is faster than Frog. On that note, I don't really know what else Dark Pulse would really hit, so I'd just narrow it down to Musharna as Dark Pulse's sole target, like how Mantine is HP Electric's sole target and Lanturn is HP Grass's sole target. I expect you to remove the other mentions while you're at it.
- You can bring up Frogadier's rather large physical movepool, but mention that Frogadier's Attack stat is too low to make use of most of them.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazards in addition to Life Orb recoil can limit Frogadier's longevity getting it worn down quickly as it switches in and out of the field due to U-turn.
I hesitate to bring up residual damage as a way to combat Frogadier (since a direct hit can usually be enough to take down Frogadier), and this usually applies to most Life Orbed attackers anyway. The point about U-turn seems out of place when it's not even a listed option on the main set, so I'd probably remove that.

Do this and QC 2/3

btw i didn't mention the physical set at all because in QC 1/3 I removed.

Despite of its multiple STAB moves, Frogadier's average Special Attack holds it back. In the defense department Frogadier's poor defense stats make it so frail to the point that it cannot take even resisted hits, also the lack of immunities leave it with no switch in opportunities, on top of that its easy to revenge kill. It faces competition as Special wallbreaker Water-type Pokemon from Samurott, being this more bulkyer and powerful, isn't fast enough as Frogadier is. Also faces competition as another Special wallbreakers such as Magmortar, and Sceptile; being this last one more speedy and powerful with a decent coverage moves.

Moves
========
Hydro Pump Frogadier's most powerful attack, despite of it inaccuracy Hydro Pump offers the most damage output due to Its average Special Attack, that's why you really need high powered base power attacks, and if you want a reliable STAB move you've got Ice Beam which offers excellent coverage alongside Hydro Pump; hitting Grass- and Dragon-types Pokemon that resist Hydro Pump such as Vileplume, Gourgeist-XL, Altaria and Sliggoo. Also hits super effective Flying-types and is a more accurate way of dealing with Ground-types Pokemon. This is unnecessary. Readers should know Ice is super-effective against these types. Gunk Shot is the best coverage move choice for this slot, as it hits Hariyama, Mega Audino, Abomasnow, Ludicolo, and Clefairy all in one slot. Grass Knot could be an option to hit bulky Water-types but it doesn't hit harder Lanturn due to its lightness, however, hits Mantine for a lot of damage mention Samurott as a target here too. Frogadier also has access to Toxic Spikes as it is a Pokemon able to force switches, can get a layer down and quickly wears down grounded foes for itself and its teammates.

Set Details
========
Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed allow Frogadier to hit hard and outspeed the most Pokemon it can. A Naive nature if you choose Gunk Shot to not decrease the damage output, but if you choose Grass Knot as last slot a Timid nature should be your choice. Life Orb offers a much appreciated and needed power boost that lets Frogadier ensure KOs or do a hefty amount of damage, and as its frailness, it doesn't mind taking recoil damage.

Usage Tips
========
Frogadier appreciated being paired with Volt switch, U-turn or Baton Pass users so they can bring it for free, also you can bring it when a teammate has faint or on double siwtch ins. You don't bring Frogadier for any reason into whatever attack, despite of being resisted because its unable to take any hit. Frogadier works better if you bring it early or mid game having entry hazards in the opponent side of the field, this way Frogadier's wallbreaking capabilities is more effective. Toxic Spikes should be used when Frogadier forces out a foe with a super effective move. Frogadier have great match up as a lead and can be used to scout or gaining momentum early game with U-turn, as well as preventing hazards if packing Taunt. These aren't on the set so don't mention them here.

mention how frogadier can function late game as an effective cleaner once the opposing team is weakened enough. It's speed and impressive coverage more than allow for that.

A Pokemon with access to Volt Switch such as Lanturn are great partners because can take hits and bring Frogadier afterward. Scyther is a solid partner as it can U-turn out on a predicted Rock- or Steel-type Pokemon and bring Frogadier safety to threat them. Don't mention Volt Switch or U-turn partners unless they do something for Frog outside of momentum. Every Pokemon appreciates having free momentum. Lanturn doesn't really cover any of Frog's big weaknesses so I don't see a reason to mention it. Entry hazard support are crucial for some 2HKO, for example if Stealth Rock are up Frogadier's Grass Knot has a high chance to 2HKO Mantine and if one layer of Spikes are up Frogadier's Gunk Shot has a high chance to 2HKO Hariyama, and also punish every switch as Frogadier force a lot of them. Frogadier is going to be switching in and out of the field as its easily threatened, entry hazards in conjunction with Life Orb recoil will wear it down quickly, so Frogadier likes having Rapid Spin or Defog support such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, or Pelipper. Physical wallbreakers such as Sawk, and Kangaskhan can prove to be useful for taking out the special walls that Frogadier struggles with. A Pokemon with access to Healing Wish gives Frogadier another chance to weaken bulky pokemon that can take several hits and prevent a late game sweep for a teammate, Mesprit being one of the most common users.

Frogadier due to its large movepool can have many variants on its moveset, the first of them is Dark Pulse whichcan be used for neutral coverage and is a better way against Psychic and Ghost-types Pokémon such as Musharna and Rotom. Hidden Power Electric is one of the coverage move Frogadier can run, as allows it to hit bulky Water-types such as Mantine, keep in mind that having this coverage move Lanturn completly walls Frogadier. Hidden Power Grass in the other side is to hit bulky Water-types Pokemon such as Lanturn which otherwise can switch in to Frogadier's attacks. U-turn is a solid option in the last slot due to Frogadier isn't able to carry a perfect coverage; it fuction to gain momentum on a predicted switch or scouting the foe, also hits Malamar which can take multiple Frogadier's special attacks. An alternative set could be a Focus Sash suicide lead with Toxic Spikes, Taunt, U-turn, and support attack move such as Scald or Icy Wind making it an annoying lead.

Checks and Counters

**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon such as Mega Audino, Lanturn, Mantine, Hariyama, and Malamar can eats up Frogadier's Protean attacks due to their high special bulk and neutrality to its attacks, and can retaliate back with any attack for a lot of damage due to Frogadier's frailness, however, Mega Audino, Lanturn, and Hariyama all take significant damage from Gunk Shot. Mantine are entirely safe if Frogadier carry Grass Knot as coverage move that can hit it for a lot of damage even 2HKO if Stealth Rock are up.

**Faster Attackers**: Also knows as revenge killers such as Sceptile, Tauros, Archeops, Scyther, and Choice Scarf users are able to outspeed Frogadier and pick it off with a neutral type attack as Frogadier is too frail to take strong attacks. It's worth say that they can't switch into most of Frogadier's attacks as they are solely revenge killers.

**Priority Attackers**: Some Pokemon that commonly carry priority attacks are Hariyama, Skuntank, and Kangaskhan can easily pick off Frogadier with their priority moves, but most of them cannot safely switch in. The effectiveness of this priority moves depends of Frogadier's typing via Protean. For example, if Frogadier is a Water-type, it resists Hariyama's Bullet Punch.
qc 3/3 once you implement that.
