Support mon that annoys stall teams
:swsh/hippopotas::swsh/floette-eternal:
DNA Donors: Hippopotas / Floette-Eternal
Fusion Name: Hippette-Eternal
New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 70 / 85 / 85 / 85 / 64 [BST: 479] (+19 HP / +2 Atk / +13 Def / +4 SpA / +0 SpD / +2 Spe)
New Ability: Flower Stream = (Sand Stream + Flower Veil)
Ability Description: On switch-in, the user summons Mist and Safeguard
Notable Moves:
Nope
Earth Power, Scorching Sands, Moonblast
Slack Off, Wish, Leech Seed, Aromatherapy, Stealth Rock, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Cleric, Stallbreaker, Field Setter (Safeguard, Mist)
Role Justification: A solid typing in Ground/Fairy ensures it has STABs virtually unresisted, which complements well to have open slots for its utility, and just by switching in it provides protection to negative stat changes (most notably Intimidate, anyone?) and status effects, granting strong support to its team, and unlike Misty Terrain, it doesn't affect the opposing team as well, so you can lay status on the opposing team without worrying about your own field setter being counterproductive, thus being quite splashable as well. Just watch out for Defog, however.

Bulky attacker with a twist
:swsh/graveler-alola::swsh/tapu_lele:
DNA Donors: Graveler-Alola / Tapu Lele

Base Stats: 80 / 90 / 95 / 94 / 95 / 65 [BST: 519] (+18 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +7 SpA / +15 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Electrokinesis = (Psychic Surge + Galvanize)
Ability Description: Psychic Surge effects. User's Psychic type moves become Electric type and are boosted by x1.2
Notable Moves:
Nope
Psychic, Future Sight, Moonblast, Flamethrower, Earth Power, Volt Switch
Stealth Rock, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Bulky Pivot, Field Setter (Psychic Terrain)
Role Justification: Solid stats and typing ensure it can keep momentum, Future Sight also provides a funny interaction, if it stays when it hits, it will be indeed Electric type and all, but if it has switched out for when it hits, it'll be Psychic type, and so the opponent has to play around this detail, especially with how the move will hit hard regardless out of either the ability or the terrain. Some prediction even lets it beat Claylamar and Trapeino (which are immune to both Electric and Psychic) on the spot with a timed Moonblast on the switch.

Base Stats: 73 / 87 / 83 / 73 / 83 / 79 [BST: 478] (+0 HP / +4 Atk / +7 Def / +0 SpA / +13 SpD / +16 Spe)
New Ability: Grassy Boost = (Grassy Surge + Beast Boost)
Ability Description: Grassy Surge effects. Whenever Grassy Terrain ends, +1 highest stat
Notable Moves:
Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, Steel Roller, Iron Head, U-Turn, Knock Off, Superpower, Stomping Tantrum
Nope
Swords Dance
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Field Setter (Grassy Terrain), Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Its ability makes it play quite differently from vanilla Rillaboom, being able to pick either strong Grass STAB and priority or strength in another aspect with a reliable 130BP STAB nuke in Steel Roller. Featuring just the coverage it needs also backs it up, and Stomping Tantrum also does some nice synergy with Steel Roller as if that move fails you're going to nuke the opponent with 150BP Ground coverage instead.

Ability Description: Effect of both abilities
:swsh/koffing::swsh/slowbro_mega:
DNA Donors: Koffing / Mega Slowbro
Fusion Name: Mega Slowffing
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 70 / 175 / 110 / 80 / 35 [BST: 550] (+13 HP / +0 Atk / +73 Def / +30 SpA / +18 SpD / +3 Spe)
New Ability: Shell Armor
Ability Description: The user can't take critical hits

Notable Moves:
Body Press
Sludge Bomb, Psychic, Scald, Future Sight, Flamethrower, Stored Power
Slack Off, Teleport, Will-o-Wisp, Toxic Spikes, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Toxic Spikes), Defensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Neutralizing Gas and a Taunt immunity render it into a solid TS setter that also punishes Regenerator cores with its presence. A Toxic immunity also renders the mega into a solid setup sweeper by becoming increasingly harder to kill with CM. Best part is that rendering abilities useless doesn't impact most of the metagame as the mons that lose to it wouldn't want to switch into it anyways, rendering it into a healthy addition for the meta.

New Ability: Unseen Magic = (Unseen Fist + Magic Bounce)
Ability Description: Effect of both abilities
Notable Moves:
Wicked Blow, Drill Peck, U-Turn, Close Combat, Foul Play, Sucker Punch
Night Shade
Bulk Up, Trick, Wish, Teleport, Roost, Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Offensive Pivot, Defensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Basically Urshifu but balanced, although not as simple, given that Magic Bounce alongside decent bulk for this tier also allows it to be played defensively, and even comes with a movepool to back it up on that regard, bonus points for not being passive regardless (lol Wicked Blow and U-Turn) and having a good match-up against most hazard setters.

New Ability: Cooked Poison = (Flame Body + Poison Heal)
Ability Description: Effect of both abilities
Notable Moves:
Facade, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Knock Off, U-Turn
Nope
Swords Dance, Roost, Rapid Spin, Defog, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Will-o-Wisp, Taunt
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock, Spikes), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin, Defog), Stallbreaker, Bulky Pivot, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: This mon can fulfill a ton of roles thanks to a wide movepool and a solid ability, threaten physical attackers with a burn as this mon performs utility duties to make the path for your other mons way easier, even including some nice bulk to wall the likes of Toxicargo, Claylamar, Trapeino and Torranadus-Therian. However, it's weak to SR and mons like Togetops force it out.

Ability Description: Combined effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off
… Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Psychic, Psyshock, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Draco Meteor, Flash Cannon
… Nasty Plot, Trick, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Special Attacker, Mixed Wall, Set-Up (Nasty Plot)
Role Justification: Solidly strong mon, Nasty Plot really helps it function. It has very solid stats, with good bulk stats and great special attack, and actually has some nice utility with stuff like Trick and Thunder Wave. There is some solid variety here (Nasty Plot, bulkier mon, Trick + Choice?), and I think it would be a fun addition to the meta.

Ability Description: Combined effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
… Explosion, Gunk Shot, Ice Punch, Poison Jab, Shadow Sneak, Earthquake, Seed Bomb

… Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk, Yawn
Intended Role: Set-Up (Curse), Physical Attacker
Role Justification: THE fat Poison-type, this thing is awesome. I would imagine a Curse set would be the best fit, with either RestTalk or 3 Atks considering this thing's solid movepool. The main thing that makes it stick out as a Curse user is Shadow Sneak bypassing the Speed drops, and an ability that can ensure healing/preventing status from a berry.

New Ability: Gluttony and Greed = (Gluttony + Pickpocket)
Ability Description: Gluttony effects + If this Pokemon consumes a Berry, it steals the foe's item.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
…Extreme Speed, Throat Chop, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Liquidation, Seed Bomb

…Belly Drum, Shell Smash, Swords Dance
Role Justification: Two NUBL mons fused. One of them doesn't even have its best ability (Tough Claws) here. Don't be scared.

Role Justification: Latias but mixed and worse I guess.

:swsh/regigigas::swsh/yamask:
DNA Donors: Regigigas / Yamask
Intended Role: Stallbreaker, Defensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Toxic Spikes), Trick Room Setter
Offspring Name: Regimask

Base Stats: 77 / 97 / 97 / 87 / 87 / 67 [BST: 512] (+3 HP / +2 Atk / +0 Def / +20 SpA / +0 SpD / +2 Spe)
New Ability: Colossal Curse = (Slow Start + Mummy)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
…Knock Off
…Hex, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Earth Power, Thunderbolt, Infestation
…Will-o-Wisp, Toxic Spikes, Haze, Pain Split, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Calm Mind, Nasty Plot, Rest, Trick Room
Role Justification: Slow Start that spreads on contact is extremely good. The catch is that Regimask also has Slow Start effects and no reliable recovery, so it sucks as a physical attacker and as a defensive mon. It can't even copy Cofagrigus' Gen 8 set because Body Press damage is also lowered by Slow Start. It's forced to run sets like Suicune's, for example RestTalk or defensive/offensive Calm Mind. Also possibly Nasty Plot or Trick Room.

New Ability: Steel Wool Down = (Clear Body + Cotton Down)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
…Meteor Mash, Seed Bomb/Bullet Seed, Rapid Spin, Earthquake, Bullet Punch, Ice Punch
…Grass Knot, Giga Drain, Flash Cannon
…Stealth Rock, Trick, Aromatherapy, Synthesis, Leech Seed
Role Justification: Grossgoss is a solid defensive mon. I wanted a balanced Mega Metagross fusion but I also didn't want the base to be useless.
:swsh/metagross-mega::swsh/eldegoss:
DNA Donors: Metagross-Mega / Eldegoss

Mega Stats: 70 / 102 / 130 / 97 / 125 / 105 [BST: 629]
New Ability: Tough Claws
Role Justification: Balanced Megagross fusion? Able to do Megagross things but has less Attack (obviously). Now with STAB Grass Knot boosted by Tough Claws).
:swsh/dedenne::swsh/gigalith:
DNA Donors: Dedenne / Gigalith
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Sand Abuser

New Ability: Pick Up Sand = (Pickup + Sand Force)
Ability Description: Sand Force effects + If the last move this Pokemon used is Ground/Rock/Steel-type, there is a 100% chance its item gets restored at the end of each turn.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
…Nuzzle
… Meteor Beam, Thunderbolt, Earth Power, Grass Knot, Volt Switch
…Stealth Rock
Role Justification: Giganne combines its ability with STAB Meteor Beam + Power Herb to spam the move and get boosts every turn. Some more niche strategies could be used, like Custap Berry or a physically defensive set with Stealth Rock, Nuzzle and Sitrus Berry or Red Card.
:swsh/rayquaza::swsh/shuckle:

New Ability: Stat Lock = (Air Lock + Contrary)
Ability Description: While this Pokemon is active, the effects of stat stages are disabled.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
…Dragon Ascent, V-Create, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Knock Off, Extreme Speed
…Draco Meteor, Overheat
…Defog, Sticky Web, Stealth Rock
Role Justification: This needs no explanation. It would be broken if it didn't disable its own Dragon Dance Shell Smash, but it does. Hooray.

New Ability: Overpour = (Torrent + Overcoat)
Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: U-Turn
: Hydro Pump, Bug Buzz, Air Slash, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon
: Quiver Dance
Intended Role: Set Up Sweeper, Special Sweeper
Role Justification: Now most people know inteleon is trash, so I decided to fuse it with a mon that is also trash. Turns out by doing so you can make a solid quiver dancer. Sure you probably want to wear boots since this thing is weak to rocks but it's fast enough and hits hard enough after a dance to become a threat, despite it's lackluster movepool. Sure its ability is a bit lacking, but it being a solid quiver dance user helps mitigate that a bit.

New Ability: Levitate = (Levitate + Levitate)
Ability Description:
Notable Moves:
: Rapid Spin
: Bug Buzz, Ice Beam, Freeze Dry, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Air Slash, Flash Cannon
: Defog, Recover, Sticky Web, Haze
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin), Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Bug/Ice types are very risky especially with how frail they can be, that said I don't think this one is terrible. Volt Switch allows it to get out of dodge if need be. Rapid Spin is still worth using since it removes hazards and gives it a speed boost. Then there's freeze dry to let it deal with pesky water types while still using its great STAB.

Ability Description: This pokemon's fire and ice type moves have 1.3x power.
Notable Moves:
: Close Combat, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Poison Jab, Avalanche
: Bulk Up
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: NGL I thought this pokemon's ability was just like really neat and kind of stuck with it. Thanks to its low special attack it can't abuse it too much but a boosted ice punch is always welcome here. Anyway given that we have some bulky poisons, bulky dark types, and a bulky rock dragon type I feel as though having a hard hitting queen to tackle them isn't a terrible idea.

Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: Icicle Crash, ice Shard, Knock Off, Iron Head, Play Rough
: Swords Dance, Thunder Wave, Spikes, Defog, Reflect, Light Screen
Intended Role: Physical Sweeper, Hazard Setter (Spikes), Hazard Removal (Defog).
Role Justification: A powerful physical sweeper with an offensive typing typing that is okay and a defensive typing that is questionable at best. It hits fairly hard and despite the hinderances its typing brings it doesn't need to wear boots allowing it to run banded or scarfed, thus making it very potent.

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Removal (Defog)
Role Justification: Look at this thing, this utter menace. It does not give a shit about you, and it hates you so much that it refuses to listen to you. If you expect any prayers to be answered here, look elsewhere. The only thing you'll find here is a strong offensive prowess and an ability to fit on whatever team you desire, thanks to its ability. Also I am aware that this is cheating since Arcemur can be any type, but it would probably count as a normal type under the type count.

New Ability: Healing Stimulants = (Insomnia + Regenerator)
Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
: U-Turn
: Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Hyper Voice, Moonblast, Air Slash, Heat Wave, Shadow Ball
: Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Special Sweeper, Offensive Pivot, Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: Most normal fighting types tend to be physical sweepers, this one isn't. I will say I do find it funny that gen 8 removed Synchronoise and this mon would have probably been one of the best fucking users of the move, as more fighting types come in. That said its offensive movepool as is, certainly helps and it plays really similarly to torranadus-therian except this hits slightly harder and can't take a physical hit to save its life.

Unintentional, but it seems the theme of these round of subs is Defog and Roost...

AVIARY ACTION

:swsh/golem-alola::swsh/scyther:
BUGCICLE 2.0 BABY! Bulky, semi-fast attacker with a U-turn that threatens Torranadus and an excellent defensive typing and statspread.
DNA Donors: Golem-Alola / Scyther
Fusion Name: Scylem-Alola
New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 115 / 105 / 55 / 80 / 90 [BST: 520] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +8 SpD / +15 Spe)
New Ability: Buganize = (Galvanize + Swarm)
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Bug-type moves become Electric type and have 1.2x power.
Notable Moves:
Acrobatics, Dual Wingbeat, Earthquake, Knock Off, U-turn, X-Scissor…

Defog, Stealth Rock, Roost…
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Pivot, Utility
Role Justification: Bugcicle v2.0 is here! This time it makes use of Galvanize along with Scyther to make a mon that has a lot of utility and options it can take advantage of. Buganize fixes the biggest problem that Electric physical attackers have and that is lack of any good STAB moves. U-turn hits threats that usually resist it like the present Torranadus, and X-Scissor is just a generally great move with high BP. 115 Atk is great for wallbreaking and Electric/Flying/Ground coverage hits every mon in the meta for atleast neutral damage. It can act as both an offensive or defensive pivot depending on the set, since it's movepool threatens common mons and defensive sets have reliable recovery. Lastly, it can perform utility roles such as hazard setting with Stealth Rock, Defog to remove hazards itself, and Koff for crippling walls.

:swsh/pidgeot::swsh/drapion:
Very fast offensive pivot and defogger that cripples walls with Knock Off.
DNA Donors: Pidgeot / Drapion
Fusion Name: Drapeot
New Types:

Base Stats: 91 / 90 / 92 / 65 / 72 / 118 [BST: 533] (+15 HP / +5 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: Battle Pecks = (Big Pecks + Battle Armor)
Ability Description: Combined effects.
Notable Moves:
Acrobatics, Brave Bird, Earthquake, Knock Off, Poison Jab, U-turn…

Defog, Roost, Swords Dance, Taunt, Toxic, Toxic Spikes…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Stallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Utility
Role Justification: Drapeot plays similarly to Crobat with an excellent speed tier, a good defensive typing, and utility options that allow it to perform as a good pivot. Swords Dance gives it sweeping capabilities combined with it's speed and it's near unresisted coverage in Poison/Flying/Ground, it can act as a stallbreaker with Taunt and being immune to Poison, it can utilize U-turn with it's fast speed, and it has utility by allowing it to set Toxic Spikes itself and also using Defog to remove hazards on the field.

:swsh/pidgeot-mega::swsh/drapion:
Mega Pidgeot with a better offensive and defensive typing.
DNA Donors: Pidgeot / Drapion
Fusion Name: Drapeot-Mega
New Types:

Base Stats: 91 / 90 / 97 / 130 / 82 / 138 [BST: 633] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +5 Def / +65 SpA / +10 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: No Guard
Ability Description: Every move used by or against this Pokemon will always hit.
Notable Moves:
U-turn…
Heat Wave, Hurricane, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb…
Roost...
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: If the base form plays like Crobat, the mega form plays like... Mega Pidgeot, to nobodies surprise (mega probs banned tho, which is kinda sad but I guess if it gets in we'll see if it performs well in FEUU). Mega-Drapeot can do all the utility options that base form can do while still being a good pivot. It has a better offensive typing and it's big SpA stat makes it a good wallbreaker, it's usual set running 2 STABs then Heat Wave to hit steel types alongside Roost or U-turn or a 4th coverage option in Shadow Ball to hit Rock types sans Rock/Dark.

:swsh/ribombee::swsh/zarude:
Fast physical wallbreaker that is immune to Scald burns and is a great stallbreaker.
DNA Donors: Ribombee / Zarude
Fusion Name: Zarombee
New Types:

Base Stats: 82 / 95 / 82 / 90 / 92 / 114 [BST: 545] (+0 HP / +8 Atk / +0 Def / +8 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Leafy Shield = (Shield Dust + Leaf Guard)
Ability Description: This Pokemon is immune to status effects and the secondary effects of the moves of opposing Pokemon.
Notable Moves:
Play Rough, Power Whip, Rock Slide, Stomping Tantrum, U-turn…
Energy Ball, Moonblast…
Bulk Up, Defog, Roost, Sticky Web, Taunt…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Stallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Utility
Role Justification: Zarombee has a unique ability and defensive typing that allows it to act as a nice check to walls and has access to tech options that gives it the potential to run a variety of sets. Quiver Dance is used to power through offensive and defensive mons alike with it's high speed and it's ability making it immune to status, and it also has access to reliable recovery. It's stallbreaker role is already exemplified earlier, being immune to status and secondary effects means it isn't bothered by flinching or by Will-o-Wisp or Toxic that bring down it's longevity or attacking power, especially in conjunction with Taunt to further cripple walls from doing their usual business. It can act as an offensive pivot with U-turn, and it has utility options like Sticky Web and Defog to remove hazards itself. It runs a set with Quiver Dance and it's base 90 SpA that is pretty average for Quiver Dancers in RU (and here even in FERU too) that can snowball quickly and can act as a good wincon depending on the set.

Draco Meteor
Dragon Dance, Rest, Sleep Talk, Healing Wish
Intended Role: Physical Setup Sweeper, Wallbreaker
Role Justification: a physical mon with strong ability but poor coverage and HP. Ability Description: At 1/3 or less of its max HP, the user's status gets cured.
Notable Moves:
…U-Turn
…Scald, Earth Power, Flamethrower
…Stealth Rock, Slack Off, Toxic, Taunt
Intended Role: Special Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: Just wanted to add more fat stuff to this meta. It's a bit more specialized and less offensive than the other stuff in this tier that share its typing, but does have a few things to make it different from each.

…Energy Ball, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Moonblast, Psychic, Psyshock, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt
…Calm Mind, Heal Bell, Nasty Plot, Recover, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Special Wall
Role Justification: Through its ability, this Pokemon can become one of many different types. Its main goal is to abuse this to become a versatile defensive Pokemon, but it has access to both Nasty Plot and Calm Mind alongside a passable Sp. Atk, so it can run one of those as well.

…Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Psychic, Psyshock, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Power Gem
…like agility or something i dunno
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin)
Role Justification: An unassuming Pokemon by stats alone, but it has an ability that greatly boosts the power of its moves if it's faster than its opponent. Also comes with pretty good coverage and a few other interesting options for a fourth moveslot, including Rapid Spin, Flip Turn, Substitute, or possibly even Meteor Beam, although I doubt it'll be great at the lattermost. Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance/Obstruct,) Offensive Pivot, Stallbreaker
Role Justification: Ground-type Guts sweeper that can do a lot of damage, having STAB Knock Off, SD, and some cool STABs, as well as some other moves like Outrage, Gunk Shot, and a ton of other coverage that can fit the bill and threaten any Pokemon it comes up against. Its coverage can be able to hit the whole type chart, but to compensate, its base speed isn't that high and faster Pokemon (or priority) that can hit it super-effectively could possibly be able to take it down due to its not-so-good-ish special bulk.

Stat Distribution: 55/85/83/112/83/95 (+0) BST: 513
Ability: Air Balloon (Illusion + Levitate): User is immune to Ground moves until hit by direct damage.
Relevant Moves:
- Knock Off, U-Turn
- Dark Pulse, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Overheat, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb
- Nasty Plot, Taunt, Trick, Defog, Will-O-Wisp
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker Choice Scarf, Set Up (Nasty Plot)
Role Justification: haha funny ability. Zorotom-Heat has the ability Air Balloon (name can be changed if a coding issue), which allows it to have immunity to Ground type moves until it takes damage. Zorotom-Heat otherwise is a pretty standard wallbreaker/offensive pivot, capable of running choice scarf to outpace Serpeblim and Oricolyph, which Zorotom can hit super effectively. Its weaknesses are its bulk, and the downside of its ability. In its matchup against Trapeino, it can switch out while its ability is still active, however it becomes trapped when its ability ends.

Type:

Stat Distribution: 75/107/71/82/68/106 (+20 Atk, +20 Spe) BST: 509
Ability: Pecking Order (Intimidate + Big Pecks): On switch-in, lower opponent's Defense by 1 stage.
Relevant Moves:
- U-Turn, Lunge, Brave Bird, Night Slash, Liquidation
-
- Defog, Roost, Sticky Web
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Sticky Web), Hazard Removal (Defog)
Role Justification: earl did say that the best way to buff swannamence was to give it U-Turn, so here we are with pecking order 2. ill start with negatives, its a bug/flying and its super frail. but with STAB U-Turns on opponents with -1 Defense, it can do a number to chip into defensive teams. Webs and Defog also exist, but since its so frail it cant do either of them too effectively.

Relevant Moves:

- Psychic, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Focus Blast, Power Gem, Stored Power
- Nasty Plot, Shift Gear
Intended Role: Defensive Pivot, Set Up (Shift Gear, Nasty Plot)
Role Justification: Oranguklang is a setup sweeper with a suprising amount of bulk to ease setup. It lacks immediate firepower due to its base 80 attacking stats, but it can set up with Nasty Plot or Shift Gear (or even both if you want to try double dance. Mirror Armor helps deter future stat droppers from raining on its parade. It can also run a defensive pivot set but that has no recovery or any support moves so AV is the best option.

Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wall
Role Justification: An incredibly bulky tank that has a crippling but not entirely life-ending ability. In fact, Bad Gas can actually be seen as a slight positive due to psuedo burn-immunity and a wonderfully powerful Facade, but the 12% chip per turn is pretty crippling no matter how you look at it. At least Rest+Curse sets essentially ignore the ability, functioning much like Snorlax does in lower tiers. Big stat man

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control
Role Justification: I adore special No Guard attackers, and my favorite of those (honestly favorite pet mod submission ever) is Mega Sharpedo from Clean Slate, which was a fast and powerful Water/Fire special attack with No Guard. It also paired beautifully with Spikes and Trapinch there, so a downscaled version of that in FERU could be a fun way to start up an offensive archetype. While it is definitely powerful and threatening, it has no way to hit Water-types outside of a non-STAB Hurricane and, uh, Shock Wave.

Fusion: Kingpod

Type: Bug / Poison

Stat Distribution:

HP: 78
Atk: 113
Def: 128 (+20)
SpA: 72
SpD: 82
Spe: 82 (+20)

Ability: Spindle Armor (Emergency Exit + Poison Point)
When hit by a contact move, the user will pivot immediately a la Emergency Exit.

Relevant Moves:

- Leech Life, First Impression, Megahorn, Poison Jab, Earthquake, Poison Jab, High Horsepower, Knock Off, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Smack Down, Stone Edge, Superpower
- Earth Power, Bug Buzz, Sludge Bomb, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt
- Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Pain Split, Swords Dance, Taunt, Toxic

Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter, Defensive Pivot

Role Justification:

Emergency Exit is an ability that has a lot of potential to be an incredibly powerful pivoting tool, but in general it is held back by Golisopod necessitating it to work at a specific HP threshold, its mediocre speed, and inability to pivot into hazards. Kingpod takes these factors and brings them more into your control, with a very unique ability to negate U-turn and ironically use it as a way to build your own momentum, and nifty resistances to common contact-oriented types such as Fighting, Bug, and Poison. With an resistance to U-turn, non-Volt Switch using offensive pivots are going to find themselves generally incapable of utilizing offensive pivoting moves to play around Kingpod, letting it take advantage of bulkier teams that may attempt to use slow U-turn as a way to get the upper hand against offense. In some cases, pidgeonholing them into an attacking move, utility, or recovery can give a wallbreaking opportunity to another teammate. Kingpod's ability can also be a balancing factor for Swords Dance, which boasts menacing breaking ability that could invalidate fatter structures.

Aside from this very unique caveat, Kingpod is very self sufficient with a wide range of toys, alongside its buffed speed. Bug/Poison itself may be an awkward typing, but it has a lot of coverage to round it off. Base 123 attack is nothing to scoff at, and with access to First Impression, Megahorn, and Spindle Armor's condition, it has the ability to apply constant pressure while also maintaining offensive momentum, making it a great fit on bulky offenses and VoltTurns that may want to do some nuclear breaking, but also ramp up the overload. Kingpod also has Nidoking's amazing coverage pool, consisting of the elemental punches, Smack Down, and Stone Edge in order to make Kingpod more of a threat to switch into. Furthermore, with its defensive profile and access to 3 hazards, it has defensive utility as well, with a very unique caveat of negating attempts at gaining momentum.

Overall, this take on Emergency Exit helps optimize it into something far more tangible and controllable for budding players, providing teams with a unique pivot that has a lot of menace and utility in its own right.

A return to the “stronger third STAB” concept I explored a little bit in UU, Solaraq takes it in less of a utility direction than its predecessor Araquagon and instead just takes advantage of the raw damage output and coverage such a concept offers. EdgeQuake + Leech Life or Blitz for Grasses is already insane, leaving the fourth slot for SD. It has some other decent options as well, namely Morning Sun for longetivity and two strong hazards. Water and Burn immunities ease your switchins on Scald spammers and potential walls down the line, though you do still need to be wary of Toxic. It also has a pretty bad typing defensively and a Stealth Rock weakness, making it hard to bring this mon in and keep it healthy throughout longer games.

Thank you for giving me a second chance at this! After meticulously looking through the ideas that made it in, here's what I came up with for Lucario.

New Ability: Arkham Justice = (Justified + Illusion)
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Attack is raised by 1 stage after it takes direct damage.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:

Close Combat, Extreme Speed, Ice Punch, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, U-Turn

.....

Swords Dance, Taunt

Role Justification: Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker, Set Up (Swords Dance)
Zorocario is the literal definition of a glass cannon. This pokemon is meant for pure physical hyper agressive play to dent holes in the opposition. The use of Taunt and U-Turn can help it halt or escape situations where it could not be effective in. Once ready, Zorocario's main goal is to use Swords Dance to set up, and take out the biggest threat the enemy team has. With it's priority moves like Espeed and Sucker Punch it can really pack a punch. On the other hand, as previously stated this is a set up mon. 65 bulk isn't amazing, but being a tank is not its job. Get that Swords Dance up, and at least one mon on the enemy team will cower in fear.
[This mon does have checks to prevent it from being too op; Oricolyph-Sensu can work around sucker punch with status moves, tank it with no def investment, and is immune to Espeed and CC. Physical bulky mons can kill it before set up, and survive after set up, like Rhybite or Duramaw]

This is my first time submitting a post on this forum, but I hope you like/vote for my idea. (Sprite concept courtesy of Japeal Pokemon Fusion Generator)
welcome to the mod. while i appreciate how indepth you were, your fusion has problems that should be addressed

New Ability: Luvally System = (Inner Focus + RKS System)
Ability Description: Receives neutral damage from attacks. This pokemon cannot be made to flinch. Immune to Intimidate.
this fusion ability doesn't make sense with the given abilities. recall that
For the ability, you select one ability from each parent and create a new one, mixing the effects of both abilities.
you cannot mix the two abilities so that you receive neutral damage from attacks because neither ability states or contains that effect.

Close Combat, Crunch, Explosion, Extreme Speed, Ice Punch, Multi-Attack, Meteor Mash, Psychic Fang, Shadow Claw, Thunder Punch.

Air Slash, Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Tri Attack, Vacuum Wave

Defog, Nasty Plot, Parting Shot, Swords Dance
more of competitive editing but theres basically no reason for this mon to use special sets when it has sd espeed (which in my opinion is too strong for this metagame given its base stats. similarly defog or "niche psuedo-stall with Toxic + Life Dew" are unviable strategies as the aforementioned set is objectively better (life dew in general has never been useable and never should be considered, even on a pokemon with no other recovery option).

Besides Frisk and Anticipation being your worst enemy, Luvally is able to fit on any team and play as almost any role needed.
i was confused by this as frisk and anticipation are barely viable abilities and really dont affect this mon much besides maybe scouting it slightly. id say ghost types or pokemon with high physical defense are much more threatening to this fusion.

DNA Donors: Mega Lucario / Silvally
Fusion Name: Mega Luvally

(No Change)

Base Stats: 82 / 137 / 100 / 130 / 82 / 114 [BST: 645] (+0 HP / +35 Atk / +18 Def / +25 SpA / +0 SpD / +22 Spe)
New Ability: Adaptability
Ability Description: This pokemon's same-type attack bonus (STAB) is 2 instead of 1.5

(Using the Luvallnite grants an amazing new ability, and stat buffs. The downside is being prone to fake outs, and losing its unique defensive ability.)
this pokemon would be soundly banned from feru (and feuu for that matter). being prone to fake out is hardly considerable seeing as very few mons actually use fake out viably, and adaptability extreme speed makes it even more broken than before (on top of attack and speed boosts).

overall a pretty good start but id advise that you choose a fusion with less offensive presence (see: normal type with sd espeed + incredible stab coverage in close combat). you would probably have to change silvally or lucario for another pokemon which may be unfortunate but it has to happen for the metagame to remain balanced.

Council believes this Pokémon's BellySpeed sets to be quite problematic.

:swsh/uxie::swsh/skarmory:

New Ability: Stouthearted = (Levitate + Sturdy)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Contrary to what you believe, this Pokémon's stats and typing are indeed too bulky for the metagame.

:swsh/metagross::swsh/eldegoss:
New Types:

Base Stats: 70 / 92 / 110 / 87 / 105 / 65 [BST: 529] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Crystallization = (Clear Body + Regenerator)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Base form is the issue here, with Regenerator not being balanced on a mon with that much bulk and good defensive type. You stated Mega was your goal, so I'd recomend just changing Base's ability and leaving the rest untouched.

:swsh/chesnaught::swsh/dracovish:

New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 115 / 115 / 75 / 80 / 70 [BST: 545] (+1 HP / +17 Atk / +4 Def / +3 SpA / +3 SpD / +1 Spe)
New Ability: Ballistic Gel = (Water Absorb + Bulletproof)
Ability Description: Combined effects. Also heals when hit by a ballistic move.
Unfortunately this Pokémon's Physical stats combined with Recovery, utility in Spikes and Fishious Rend push it over the edge. It's somewhat reminescent of Kommo-o that trades Special Bulk and Set-Up for healing and utility. Its a shame because I kinda like it but this is a necessary scacrifice :(

:swsh/ribombee::swsh/zarude:
New Types:

Base Stats: 82 / 105 / 82 / 90 / 92 / 114 [BST: 555] (+0 HP / +18 Atk / +0 Def / +8 SpA / +10 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Leafy Shield = (Shield Dust + Leaf Guard)
Ability Description: This Pokemon is immune to status effects and the secondary effects of the moves of opposing Pokemon.
This pokémon has a bit too much utility when combining all of its type, ability, movepool and stats. It has a lot going for it and in a way that isn't really balanced, so we're going to have to veto it.

:swsh/camerupt::swsh/bruxish:

Base Stats: 86 / 107 / 80 / 87 / 80 / 66 [BST: 506] (+17 HP / +5 Atk / +10 Def / +0 SpA / +8 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Solid Skin = (Solid Rock + Wonder Skin)
Ability Description: Solid Rock effects; supereffective moves are 50% accurate when used on this Pokémon
This ability is rather uncompetitive given the huge RNG aspect it adds to the mon.

:swsh/clawitzer::swsh/raichu-alola:
New Types:

Base Stats: 65 / 80 / 85 / 110 / 90 / 85 [BST: 525] (+0 HP / +1 Atk / +16 Def / +3 SpA / +3 SpD / +1 Spe)
New Ability: Surge Launcher = (Mega Launcher + Surge Surfer)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
This Pokémon is too strong under Electric Terrain, being essentially impossible to outspeed and hitting ridiculously hard with Terrain Pulse, as well as having good STAB coverage and Nasty Plot.

:swsh/liepard::swsh/lucario:
New Types:

Base Stats: 70 / 110 / 65 / 110 / 70 / 100 [BST: 525] (+3 HP / +11 Atk / +5 Def / +9 SpA / +10 SpD / +2 Spe)
New Ability: Calibration = (Unburden + Justified)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
This Pokémon is a bit overstatted for its ability and movepool. Given it gets set-up, we'd ask you to reduce its offensive stats.

:ss/nidoking: :ss/golisopod:
Type: Bug / Ground

Stat Distribution:
HP: 78
Atk: 123 (+10)
Def: 118 (+10)
SpA: 72
SpD: 82
Spe: 82 (+20)

Ability: Spindle Armor (Emergency Exit + Poison Point)
When hit by a contact move, the user will pivot immediately a la Emergency Exit.
This ability is a bit unhealthy on a Pokémon with high physical bulk, as it enables easy safe switches. We usually don't allow Pokémon to be changed during Veto Phase, but I'll open an exception here and allow you to try this concept on a Pokémon with lower Physical Bulk. I appreciate the sub though, its still pretty good quality for a first-timer!

New Ability: Mental Strength = (Tough Claws + Telepathy)
Ability Description: Both abilities combined
Swords Dance on this is a bit too strong. We'll have to as you to nerf it somewhat. I love the idea of Tough Claws Draining Kiss though!

This is my first time submitting a post on this forum, but I hope you like/vote for my idea. (Sprite concept courtesy of Japeal Pokemon Fusion Generator)

DNA Donors/ Parents: Lucario / Silvally
Shared Egg Group: NUL
Offspring Name: Luvally
New Types:

Base Stats: 82 / 102 / 82 / 105 / 82 / 92 [BST: 545] [Weight 77.25] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe) (Original fusion stats)
New Ability: Luvally System = (Inner Focus + RKS System)
Ability Description: Receives neutral damage from attacks. This pokemon cannot be made to flinch. Immune to Intimidate.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:

Close Combat, Crunch, Explosion, Extreme Speed, Ice Punch, Multi-Attack, Meteor Mash, Psychic Fang, Shadow Claw, Thunder Punch.

Air Slash, Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Tri Attack, Vacuum Wave

Defog, Nasty Plot, Parting Shot, Swords Dance

Role Justification: Mixed Attacker, Potential Sweeper, Wallbreaker
Luvally's strongest game plan is that it has multiple game plans. Physical or special, there's no wrong set of moves to dish out damage and KO's to your enemies. You can set up with Swords Dance or Nasty Plot to use your three moves to dent massive holes in the opposition. You can also get rid of traps and play a more passive role as you scout out moves/plans with Luvally's decent bulk and niche pseudo-stall with Toxic + Life Dew. Besides Frisk and Anticipation being your worst enemy, Luvally is able to fit on any team and play as almost any role needed. The massive movepool mixed with average stats creates a balanced monster on the battlefield.

Luvally has a combination of Inner Focus and RKS System. While keeping Inner Focus the same is easy, it was the RKS System that caused some problems. You would have to dedicate an item to a specific type of memory, which completely shuts down the item you should be using for this pokemon; the Luvallnite. I have come up with a solution for this, the Luvally System. This new system ditches the memories, or more so, uses all of them as one. Luvally takes neutral damage from all types when taking damage. While this does eliminate super effective moves, it makes the resisted types Bug, Dark, and Rock hit harder. It also makes its immunity, Ghost, hit for neutral as it would do nothing normally. To help visualize, this ability is just like being typless similar to a Burn Up Arcanine. This eliminates the memory issue messing with things, and it means the modders do not have to make 17 different palette swap sprites.

Fusion Name: Mega Luvally

Base Stats: 82 / 137 / 100 / 130 / 82 / 114 [BST: 645] (+0 HP / +35 Atk / +18 Def / +25 SpA / +0 SpD / +22 Spe)
New Ability: Adaptability
Ability Description: This pokemon's same-type attack bonus (STAB) is 2 instead of 1.5

(Using the Luvallnite grants an amazing new ability, and stat buffs. The downside is being prone to fake outs, and losing its unique defensive ability.)

Fellow council member Anaconja has goneover what you need to change. I'll open a special case here as well and allow you to change one of these two Pokémon. Pretty good first attempt!

You have 24 Hours to do these changes.

welcome to the mod. while i appreciate how indepth you were, your fusion has problems that should be addressed

this fusion ability doesn't make sense with the given abilities. recall that

you cannot mix the two abilities so that you receive neutral damage from attacks because neither ability states or contains that effect.

more of competitive editing but theres basically no reason for this mon to use special sets when it has sd espeed (which in my opinion is too strong for this metagame given its base stats. similarly defog or "niche psuedo-stall with Toxic + Life Dew" are unviable strategies as the aforementioned set is objectively better (life dew in general has never been useable and never should be considered, even on a pokemon with no other recovery option).

i was confused by this as frisk and anticipation are barely viable abilities and really dont affect this mon much besides maybe scouting it slightly. id say ghost types or pokemon with high physical defense are much more threatening to this fusion.

this pokemon would be soundly banned from feru (and feuu for that matter). being prone to fake out is hardly considerable seeing as very few mons actually use fake out viably, and adaptability extreme speed makes it even more broken than before (on top of attack and speed boosts).

overall a pretty good start but id advise that you choose a fusion with less offensive presence (see: normal type with sd espeed + incredible stab coverage in close combat). you would probably have to change silvally or lucario for another pokemon which may be unfortunate but it has to happen for the metagame to remain balanced.
Thank you so much for being nice and honest. I must have accidently read a different FE rules for abilties, I'm sorry about that! Looking at your response gave me a better understanding of everything; I vastly underestimated the sheer power of my mon. Overall, this helped me so much. Thanks again Anaconja.
