:landorus-therian::marowak-alola:Lando but less. Nice type and ability synergy with Masquerajah makes nose bug even better, which is mildly annoying, but the mon on its own is great, and I look forward to using it.
:emolga::aggron:Scarf Head Smash. Band Head Smash. Et cetera.
:emolga::aggron-mega:Here's where the fun begins. Mega loses the ability to run choice items, but becomes an absolute defensive tank on the physical side. Plus, it gets Roost. Can probably run bulky offense sets, but I'm personally looking forward to running this on stall lo. Competes with Sharpiskorch for best use of a Mega slot imo.
:metang::hydreigon:Can't really tell what this is going to run yet, but my bets are on obnoxious defensive sets that are going to be ridiculously hard to break thanks to what, one weakness? Time to run Bearyx or Grapplor on every team, I guess.
:hoopa-unbound::regigigas:Mon is funny, but I don't see it being super viable. Might be nice in TR, who knows?
:natu::urshifu:Nashifu is really cool. Physically offensive Magic Bounce isn't something we've seen yet in basegame, so it'll be interesting to see how it interacts with this meta. Plus, balanced Wicked Blow. What's not to love? (btw, fakerock Lycansian kills from full with Life Orb)
:cramorant::toxtricity:Cramotricity is pretty nice, though I honestly wonder about its viability in a meta so loaded with Water punishers. Sure, Dialgast can't switch in, but how does this break Toxicargo? How about Eelektoad? I guess we'll have to see how it does, but Pillage immunity is still nice, and it can easily take out Hatterune if given the chance.
:raichu::crobat:Of course. We get another fast Electric, and it still loses to QD Masq. Honestly, I'm not really sure what this is supposed to do. It loses to the only two mons I know of that run Substitute (offensive Claylamar and Stored Power Audiyem), it doesn't beat Masq, its offenses aren't great, physical sets probably aren't viable due to Wild Charge sucking so much. Someone please correct me if I'm missing something, but this just doesn't seem very good. (edit: it gets NP. That might help a bit, yeah. Also Volt Tackle. Pretty big deal.)
:darmanitan::darmanitan-galar:Wonky Defeatist. Not personally a fan, but it could be alright. Ice/Fire is a pretty solid offensive typing, and it doesn't really have any competition for physically offensive Ice types besides honse, which is unviable outside of TR.

Role Justification: We've got a lack of bulky Water types, and from what I've noticed when teambuilding, most of the current hazard control mons would rather do something else, and so this comes as a nice alternative that fills such role. It also performs role compression as a pivot to ensure your mons come in with the least chip possible, and isn't threatened by most hazard setters as well, turning it into a viable pick. Overall it's a pivot that removes hazards and has a nice place in the meta.

Role Justification: While Dragon/Bug is easy to switch into in the current meta out of a large influx of Steel and more notably Fairy types, this still comes with a strong offensive presence outside of that, and some coverage in EQ and Poison Jab for them, although this still loses to Masquerajah. STAB First Impression pressures offensive teams, and can be even stronger when weared down thanks to the Swarm effects of its ability, bonus points for strong setup in Dragon Dance to potentially end games when its counterplay is weared down, it also comes with U-Turn to preserve momentum once it's done with First Impression. Overall it's a solid offensive hit and run mon that can also elect for being a sweeper instead.

Role Justification: Contrary to its high Atk, a lack of physical Poison STAB means that it's forced to rely on special moves to complement its coverage, yet still can fit Knock Off and Sludge Bomb without much passivity regardless out of decent offensive stats and the utility they give. Preventing abilities from activating is also a relevant niche in any FE meta, as it allows to shut down many mons that rely a lot on their abilities, and its typing ensures it has a good match-up against most of them out of only having a single weakness in Ground. Regardless, it also manages to fit recovery in Wish to remain healthy across a match, and Pressure effects also ease on PP stalling hazard setters as it removes the hazards with Defog, while also being solid alongside WishTect for removing coverage like Close Combat from an opponent long-term.
The mega instead goes quite more offensively, having solid coverage to potentially sweep teams after a CM, and even blocks hazards itself with Magic Bounce.

The Greninja fusion we have is amazing don't get me wrong, but what if it was fully aggressive? This fusion utilizes the Battle Bond ability which makes this pokemon op. A well-mixed attack movepool that can set up and get rid of hazards. Did you see those amazing stats for its ash form, yeah? Looks op enough to be in Ubers? Not quite. Kecninja is a potential sweeper with its ash form, but it has a lot holding it back to balance out the stats. Its base is "ok" with normal / water not being the best mix. It has more Attack and priority moves, but a better SPA movepool, and has three different hazards but won't use them. This entire gimmick is killing off a foe and gaining mega-like stat buffs WITHOUT using a stone.

Has access to great status moves to boot and even the SubPunch set. What holds it back from being a god-tier mon is a 4x fire weakness and being a glass cannon. This is a DEADLY glass cannon, don't forget that; also has Spore.

Role Justification: Lycansian is easily A+ tier right now, and the only competing priority users are Cofazor, which usually runs defensive, and Talonsyl, which uh, dies. While Cofazor is a pretty good answer to Lycansian, I'd like to have more than one answer to such a powerful threat. So, here's Hitsar. Priority blocking thanks to Queen's Might, along with a 4x Rock resistance, completely shuts down most Lycansian sets, and you can immediately KO it back with a boosted Mach Punch. Speaking of which, uncontestable Iron Fist Mach Punch is a very powerful revenge killing tool, and will certainly be useful in the future when more priority-abusing sweepers are introduced. Even outside of the priority game, Hitsar stands on its own as a powerful wallbreaker, with Fire Punch doing about 75% to defensive Masquerajah, and Close Combat capable of 2HKOing max HP Metagon (Why did y'all vote this in?? I hate it already). Choice Scarf sets are also very strong, outspeeding and revenge-killing various threats such as NP Torranadus, Litleesect, and various others thanks to its powerful dual STABs and coverage in Stone Edge, while also carrying pivoting in U-Turn. Overall, a versatile mon with a very nice niche in the current meta.

Also has reliable recovery in Milk Drink, and assorted defensive tools in Leech Seed and Toxic. Is still a Grass type, so it's got a plethora of weaknesses to deal with, and its physical bulk isn't great with terrain down. Plus, it loses to the only other terrain setter unless you run EQ, so it should be fine even with such huge bulk.

Additionally, 130 HP and reasonable speed would make it the premier wishpasser for more defensively-oriented teams, though it unfortunately lacks pivoting. Held back by a 4x weakness to Electric and a generally mediocre defensive typing, but definitely goes wild on the right teams.

Role Justification: At first I was just going to write this one off as busted, but then I realized that this dies to a tbolt from literally anything, so I thought I'd give it a chance. Mega Salomola does everything base does, but slightly differently (mostly due to lacking boots). Offensive sets are faster and stronger, making it harder to outspeed after a DD, and making Aerilate Double-Edge do absolutely massive damage. However, it does give up both boots and the self-sustain of Blood-Soaked, so offensive Mega sets might not be the way to go. Defensive sets are insanely bulky on the physical side, but still can't take any Electric moves, and still don't have the option to run boots. However, maybe the extra bulk and slightly stronger Scalds are worth it.

Intended Role: Hazard Control (Rapid Spin), Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: Tsartop is a effective pivot with a great shutdown option with its ability to cancel out multi-hit moves and the few Technician users, on top of being a effective sponge for special attacks thanks to its good special bulk and useful resistances to Electric and Water. It also can work as a good Rapid Spinner thanks to said resistances and immunities, though it faces competition from Defoggers and Flying-types, especially with its crippling 4x weakness to them. It also is very vulernable to status as well, though it does have limited healing.

Its stats are too average to deal any meaningful damage, either, so this is the best bet that it has to deal damage. However, it does have useful coverage and a rare typing to help it out. It can also use Rapid Spin to be more of a dick, too.

Role Justification: physical spinner with some good moveslot options that lat it take a few nice roles. Stealth rock for Hazard Setting, Heal Bell for Status Removal, Toxic for crippling walls and Milk Drink for longevity, and of course the aforementioned unblockable Rapid Spin due to Scrappy.
normal/ground isn't the best typing, but it isn't the worst either, and it threatens a bunch of spinblockers in the process like Cofazor and Dusking, even if they are to switch in or remove the ability. sturdy even means it can't be taken out in one hit, ensuring you get that vital move off provided there are no hazards in the way.
the downsides are that this mon's special bulk is abysmal, so it can't take too many of those. it's also kinda slow, so it can be revenge killed by faster mons.

Stuff Cheeks has you eat the berry you're holding and gain +2 defence. combine this with a berry that boosts Attack or some other beneficial stat, and you'll get +1 to that. now with Simple, those stat changes are doubled. so Stuff Cheeks becomes a one use +4 defence and +2 to whatever stat you chose the berry for, which synergizes well with Body Press. a Liechi berry Stuff Cheeks becomes Cotton Guard + Swords Dance, which you can then use to sweep.

On the other hand, its special movepool provides many weather-convenient moves, which, along with its ability boost, makes potential for a sun or rain sweeper.

Role Justification: Nagaraid may have bad defenses, but it has a solid movepool. Put a Choice Scarf on it with Water Spout, and there you go. As a hazard setter, Nagaraid may not be the best candidate for this role, but its great typing with barely weaknesses allows it to set some Spikes. Its ability randomly raises one of its stats, which may be kind of difficult for this Pokemon. However, those boosts may come in handy.

Role Justification: Idea is Meteor Beam + Magician so you steal an item after using up your Power Herb. Other than that its pretty straightforward, just get it in at the right moment to set up and snowball. It does struggle vs Steels and Grounds due to lack of coverage though, so having mons to clear those and enable an opening for this to sweep would be ideal. Its got all flavours of common hazards that it can use on forced switches as well.

Alternatively though it has an interesting movepool for Suicide Lead sets. Its probably not as good in this role as Deodon is, but stuff like Magic Coat, Screens, Hazards, Knock Off and even a self-KO move in Steel Beam make this role a possibility.

Role Justification: Thanks to it's ability, it essentially has Para chance on all of it's moves, not just electric type attacks, so you could use Ice Beam and get Para instead of Freeze if it failed to freeze, provided you go last. Which running Iron ball would actully be benefitual in this case if going up agianst a usually slower mon or a similar speed pokemon once Para hits, although it would mostly be used as a bulkier Porygon-Z with access to Freeze-dry, Hyper Voice, with STAB for it's Ice type moves.
