Intended Role: Set-Up Sweeper (Nasty Plot, Swords Dance), Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: dark/rock isn't the best type, but if tyranitar can push through with it, Zorron probably also can. however, it also has a STAB recoilles Head Smash, along with Swords Dance to set-up. it might also to get some Rocks up if a opportunity pops up. it also has illusion, so it can trick its opponents.

Notable Moves:
Physical.png
High Jump Kick
Special.png
Focus Blast, Hydro Pump, Shadow Ball, Vacuum Wave, Earth Power, Ice Beam
Status.png
Recover, Toxic, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Special Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Shellicham has Special Pure Power. Unlike the only real huge power mon (azumarill), it does not have a crazily powerful setup move like belly drum, but it does have Calm Mind, Recover, and a whole lot of useful coverage. It can also maybe (?) be run as a physical attacker with the mega, but it really does not have the moves to do so.

Special.png
Bug Buzz, Hydro Pump, Scald
Status.png
Dragon Dance, Roost, Defog
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control
Role Justification: STABs are self-explanatory, but Earthquake serves as good coverage on physical sets. Potential choice band sets with the four listed physical moves. Ddance to further define offenses, Roost to sustain itself while sweeping, and Defog’s self explanatory as well. Switch this in against fast mons and it should be able to outspeed just about anything that was unboosted.

Notable Moves:

New Ability: Ice Box = (Moxie + Ice Body)
Ability Description: Effects of both
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
Earthquake, Triple Axel, Rapid Spin, Knock Off
Special.png

Status.png
Bulk Up, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Hazard Setter, Hazard Control
Role Justification: It’s a moxie sweeper, especially since we don’t really have a weather meta. Other than the obvious moves, you have Rapid Spin for speed boosts and hazard control, bulk up for setting up, and Stealth Rock to put up hazards.

Notable Moves:

Base Stats: 70 / 50 / 100 / 90 / 120 / 91 [BST: 521] (+5 HP / +0 Atk / +13 Def / +3 SpA / +8 SpD / +4 Spe)
New Ability: Brain Blast = (Psychic Surge + Telepathy)
Ability Description: Psychic Surge effects + This Pokemon is immune to Psychic-type attacks.
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
U-Turn
Special.png
Expanding Force, Bug Buzz, Mystical Fire, Psyshock
Status.png
Recover, Calm Mind, Trick, Sticky Web
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker
Role Justification: Our only Psychic that resembles the classic Psychic archetype of fast special wallbreaker is Deodon, which can't exactly spam Psycho Boost for obvious reasons. This is a more sustainable take on that concept, utilizing Expanding Force for heavy damage while possessing vital Fire-type coverage and solid bulk to set up Calm Minds with. Also, being fast that 90 base Speed is huge in a Silvino meta. However, the defensive typing sucks and all non-expanding attacks aren't gonna be doing impressive numbers. Will never get thru Metagon.

New Ability: Undying = (Berserk + Regenerator)
Ability Description: When this Pokemon falls below 50% HP from an attack, it gains +1 SpA and heals 33% of its maximum HP
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
U-Turn, Poison Jab
Special.png
Draco Meteor, Focus Blast, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Aura Sphere
Status.png
Roost, Calm Mind, Taunt
Intended Role: Stallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Maybe one of the craziest abilities I've ever minted, but I think this is the perfect user for it. Sub-90 speed, mediocre bulk, and no way to get around most fairies (at least Ice Beam can slap Hatt and :birddumb:) leave this Pokemon very exploitable and not a super consistent pick. Let's not ignore the upsides, though. Amazing special attack paired with an efficient movepool means this thing can cleave through the fat staples that have infested the metagame. I'm sure there's gonna be creative EV spreads to make sure Pokemon like Masquerajah can deal just enough damage to trigger Undying, and any Pokemon that encourages weirdo EV spreads is a ton of fun to me.

Notable Moves:
Special.png
Thunderbolt, Bug Buzz, Energy Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Volt Switch, Rising Voltage
Status.png
Calm Mind, Roost, Sticky Web, Agility
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker
Role Justification: While Swalurchin already occupies the niche of a special electric-type breaker, it has no way to reasonably boost itself and is better suited to spamming spikes and harassing balance's standard Electric-type switch-ins. On the other hand, Xurkivolt's access to Calm Mind allows it to boost itself past sturdier Electric checks like Metagon and Zarapex while staying healthy with a (relatively) fast Roost. It also has coverage to nail most resists and a very handy anti-grass Bug STAB! However, it has a mostly useless ability and a very poor defensive profile, so offensive teams can stomp it with ease.

Ability Description: This Pokemon's Attack is raised 1 stage if hit by a Dark or Ground move; Dark and Ground immunity.
Notable Moves:

Close Combat, Thunder Punch, Earthquake, Meteor Mash, Extreme Speed
Special.png
Aura Sphere, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Hydro Pump, Flash Cannon, Shadow Ball
Status.png
Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Will-O-Wisp, Defog
Intended Role: Mixed Wallbreaker, Set-Up Sweeper, Offensive Pivot, Choice Specs, Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: An offensive mon that can handle the meta. It hits hard with its STAB to deal with Metagon, Masquerajah, and has Hydro Pump to deal with Landowak-Alola. Knock Off and Wicked Blow immunity along with pivoting through Volt Switch is an amazing combination. This massive toolset is offset by defensive capabilities, like an awkward speed tier and struggles against Eelektoad, Wishirupti, Deodon-Attack, and Goodevoir.

Nasty Plot, Defog, Recover, Trick, Taunt
Intended Role: Special Sweeper, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Alakannon is a great Nasty Plot sweeper thanks to having Magic Guard, which it lets it come in at 100% while having a boosting item that also won't chip it down and cut a sweep short. That plus having high SpA for its Speed tier make Alakannon terrifying to face, as it easily beats Toxicargo, Cleracross, Cramotricity, and Paracoal, has coverage for Claylamar, Masquerajah, and Metagon, and U-Turn to get the slip on anything it doesn't beat. It also has a bunch of tricks up its sleeve, like Trick, Taunt, Recover, Defog, Counter, and funny Boomburst. It does have flaws, like a horrible defensive typing that leaves it open to Serpeblim, Nashifu, and Pherogonga, literally no special Flying STAB (like not even Gust or Air Cutter), and a meh Speed tier without Flame Charge, but it's a Magic Guard mon with 110 SpA and Nasty Plot, so you know it'll be good

New Ability: Venom Vision = (Snow Cloak + Poison Touch)
Ability Description: This Pokémon's contact moves have a 30% chance to poison the target and lower their Evasion by 1 stage

Triple Axel, Cross Chop, Knock Off, Gunk Shot, Earthquake, Sucker Punch, U-Turn, Ice Shard, Drain Punch
Special.png
Freeze-Dry
Status.png
Roost, Swords Dance, Taunt, Defog
Intended Role: Status Spreader, Physical Sweeper, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Toxicuno is an extremely effective status spreader thanks to its ability and having STAB on Triple Axel. With 3 chances to poison the opponent with Triple Axel, a 65.7% chance, Toxicuno can easily leverage chip damage on its switch-ins like Vishitomb and Wishirupt. The evasion lowering effect also helps make Triple Axel more consistent while the move is going and helps Cross Chop if you run it over Drain Punch. Toxicuno's typing also lets it threaten Avarupt, Claylamar, Hatterune, Kommo-tot, and more. Toxicuno does have weaknesses, like some of its best switch-ins being poison-immune, namely Cofazor, and its horrid defensive typing, and also facing competition as an Ice-type wallbreaker from Darm-Prime (though Toxicuno does have Knock Off, priority, and Swords Dance at the cost of sheer power and easily beating Steels).

Special.png

Status.png
Parting Shot, Swords Dance, Taunt, Defog, Bulk Up, Pain Split
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Physical Wallbreakers love not being crippled by burns so they can do their job. Wouldn't it be great if you could just avoid that for a few turns? Well, Guts lets you do that, but you do constantly get chipped down by your own burn, so Misty Surge is great at doing this for a physical wallbreaker like Weezoro. Weezoro's high 120 Attack with a passive 1.2x boost and status protection from Misty Surge lets it smack Aromarel, Dusking, Deodon, Rotokyu, Serpeblim (while being immune to Glare), and Venuroar, and that's just talking about its STABs. Weezoro also has a ton of defensive utility since it sets Misty Terrain for its teammates, has Parting Shot to pivot, Knock Off to both cripple foes and deal big damage, and Defog to remove hazards (and its own terrain lol). Weezoro does hate being so slow and the multitude of Ground-types running around, especially Claylamar since it can switch into its STABs, requiring Weezoro to predict it coming in with a CC, plus not having reliable recovery sucks. However, Weezoro's combination of offensive power and defensive utility should still make it a good choice for a bulkier team

Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: With Sheer Force, 110 Attack, and all the coverage you could ever need, Journoetta is a nightmarishly powerful wallbreaker, capable of dishing out serious damage to mons like Genebro, Toxicargo, Glakiss, and Swalurchin with its STABs, and Metagon, Masquerajah, Cofazor, Claylamar and Vishitomb with its coverage. Journoetta has a lot of flaws, mostly due to its atrocious typing which is bleh offensively and horrible defensively, leaving it vulnerable to Lurodactyl, Litleesect, Nashifu, and others. Role Justification: Meh. It has a very appealing typing and stats for a Sheer Force wallbreaker, but its Rock STAB is Ancient Power, has to run Relic Song (which can't even put things asleep) and use it every time it comes in, and it's slower, so it seems like way more trouble than its worth, just use base.

Bulk Up, Encore, Synthesis, Taunt, Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Jungle Healing (?)
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Physical Pivot, Utility Attacker
Role Justification: Zarette is a solidly strong physical Pokemon with a multitude of utility options. Its Speed tier creeps the crowded base 80 Speed tier, which includes the likes of Metagon among others. In return, it can use its good coverage coming from a mighty base 120 Physical Attack to threaten things out. It also has access to great utility options in Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, and Encore to annoy opponents. However, its typing leaves it weak to common typings in the meta such as Dark- and Flying-types, among others. Its Speed, while sniping some valuable Pokemon, is still pretty middling.

Belly Drum
Intended Role: Belly Drum Sweeper
Role Justification: Ambipoone at first seems extremely underwhelming due to poor stats outside of Speed. However, it has access to an extremely deadly tool - Belly Drum. This allows it to be a dangerous late-game sweeper with a great STAB priority attack in Extreme Speed as well it’s wide array of coverage. It also has an ability that lets it consume a healing berry earlier, helping greatly with set up opportunities. However, it requires specific support to truly function, and without that support, it is often dead weight. It’s typing also leaves it with no major resistances.

Role Justification: Tough Claws+SD looks nice at first, but it's stuck with mediocre dual STABs and very little coverage. It does have a strong Knock Off and U-turn though. It also has Nasty Plot and wide coverage, and even more utility in Scald, Rapid Spin, and Roost, all backed by good offensive stats. Struggles with Toxicargo and Metagon, though. Relevant Moves:
Physical: Close Combat, Ice Shard, Mach Punch, Rapid Spin, Sucker Punch, Triple Axel, U-turn
Status: Bulk Up, Heal Bell, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin)
Role Justification: Technician Triple Axel allows Hitmonuno to put the pressure on physically frailer mons, with multiple priority options to revenge kill out of control sweepers. U-turn allows Uno to pivot around in tandem with decent bulk, allowing it to either stay healthy with Roost or take one hit to deliver a powerful Band or LO blow.

Type: Dragon/Poison
Stat Distribution: 90/112/90/60/90/61 [503 BST] (12 HP/5 Atk/4 Def/0 SpA/4 SpD/0 Spe)

Status: Glare, Pain Split, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Toxic Spikes
Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes), Status Spreader, Stallbreaker
Role Justification: Druddodor sets hazards while crippling mons that rely on their abilities. Dragon Claw greatly benefits from a secondary effect, Sucker allows it to catch faster targets, and while Dragon Tail may seem antithetical to its purpose at first glance, it allows Drud to deny Regen inheritors as it forces them out. Gunk Shot may not be contact, but it is still strong STAB that ensures Drud's offensive presence.

Stat Distribution: 98/105/71/85/71/85 [515 BST] (10 HP/2 Atk/1 Def/0 SpA/0 SpD/6 Spe)
Ability: Swarm Aura (Swarm + Dark Aura)
Ability Description: While the user is active, the power of Bug type moves used by active Pokemon is multiplied by 1.33x.
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Foul Play, Knock Off, Megahorn, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch, U-turn
Status: Defog, Swords Dance, Taunt
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker, Physical Sweeper, Stallbreaker, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Role Justification: Bug can often be so underwhelming offensively, so I decided to give it a little boost. Swarm Aura allows Yveblast to fire off stronger U-turns and jack up Megahorn enough that is suddenly becomes scary for non-resists and frailer resists. You also get several options for Dark STAB and Poison Jab for Fairy types.

Weezoro is pretty strong and has a very potent typing to go along with it, just needs less HP imo

Toucapult looks like way too potent of a DD mon rn. Sadly misses the mark as an abuser of Overclock cuz DD+Brave Bird+Darts is already cracked

This looks broken at first, until you notice its ability only triggers with direct damage (Aka, attacks), and its typing is suboptimal against Fairy types, and so it has effectively no ability if its weared down by indirect damage, turning it into stall food. Beyond that it still gets some meaty stats, so it should work well against certain teams.

:Vikavolt::Excadrill:
This shouldn't have had to be nerfed : V
But for real, this is a sub of mine, so I can't help but be a bit biased. That being said, it's still a Ground type that annoys Metagon that can perform hazard control duties without worrying about Knock Off, even having longevity in Roost to stay across a match and safely bring in stuff with Volt Switch to keep momentum, and bonus points for not being forced out by Ground types (beyond itself, lol), turning it into a very nice mon, even if the stats and Raibat still keep it in check.

:Mandibuzz::Hitmontop:
Oh yes, Anaconja's Hitmontop+pivot fusion No. 69, jokes aside, I was concerned a bit with its passivity, as its typing is Fairy food and is easy to outspeed even if quite fat, but then I noticed its ability allows it to force switches as it either pivots or uses Rapid Spin, turning it into a quite interesting mon.

:Shellos::Medicham:
What is a "Charybdis"? Either way, IDK how this won, even while it has a really strong offensive type and SpA out of the ability, it's too frail, has a weird speed tier, and doesn't even gets strong setup (has to rely on CM, which at least complements its bulk issues to a degree).
The concept sounds like a BATR moment, so no wonder it really strikes me as :Xurkitree: or Joltemons :Lumineon: but bad even for this meta, but I guess it can shred slower teams, so long Porymask isn't around, lmao.

:Mr._Rime::Basculin:
Based mon. Scald + Freeze-Dry is unresisted by everything but Toxicargo, and that allows it to easily pick between the utility options it wants to help its team, turning it into a nice offensive support mon.

Slate 10 - OU Drops!

This time around in the Drop Slate, we are bringing down OU fusions to the meta. Each of these were handpicked by either Anaconja, Me, Earl, Tapler and a special guest who had to fill in for Magma; with each of us picking 2. You know the gist by now, discuss these for the next few days and decide which should be added to the metagame.

- Cool typing, stats and movepool. Can totally get on board with it.
yangarde.png
- Big fan. Tarrows coverage is cool here and I love Core Enforcer.
rapidconda-g.png
- Might be a bit much with Fairy/Ground and a status immunity.
arcalie.png
- Can get on board here. Huge ass movepool and it can do basically whatever it wants.
rapipom.png
- Indifferent here, and there's a lot of other mons I'd like to see first.
thieveon.png
- Feels very similar to Azkerow so would prefer other stuff instead of a sidegrade to a current mon.
venoqueen.png
- Tinted Lens is cool. Will probably vote for this.
sandslash-prime.png
- Ability is kind of unfortunate but I otherwise like the rest of the mon. Feels like Mamo with some other tools.
grovytal.png
- Agony Boots speed tiers are really unappealing here, but I will try to live with it because this is otherwise cool.
houndectric.png
- Would honestly like this more if its megas were in because the base seems kinda generic.

Prob voting for: Pachkia, Yangarde, Arcalie, Venoqueen, Sandslash and a currently undecided 6th mon.

pachkia.png
Trolled epic style by Hatterune. Otherwise, pretty nice offensive typing and movepool, but no setup means it'll most likely be mid at best.
yangarde.png
Honestly, this thing is sick. Absolutely bullies stuff like Sharpiskorch with proper prediction, and I'm a huge fan of Reverse Gear-type abilities. Would love to see this added.
rapidconda-g.png
Meh. Boring overoptimized bulky wallbreaker. Next!
arcalie.png
The ability name is absolutely priceless. Otherwise, seems like an extremely potent offensive mon/utility pivot, to the point where it worries me slightly. Might be fine since it doesn't have SD, and I still like it a lot. Pseudo-Parting Shot goes hard.
rapipom.png
Competes with Lycansian but does it worse. Not a fan.
thieveon.png
Funny super speed mon. Definitely balanced by awful typing, but I don't see it having a meaningful impact on the tier, so I'll hold off on this one.
venoqueen.png
This is scary. Like, really scary. Infinite movepool with QD has already proven to be a dangerous combination thanks to Masquerajah, so why would we add the same thing but faster and with Tinted Lens to make prediction even easier? Probably the only one I think is legitimately too strong for the tier.
sandslash-prime.png
Competes with Avarupt for a teamslot thanks to typing and a similar statspread, but besides that I just don't think it's very interesting in a weatherless metagame.
grovytal.png
I doubt this even runs no item on its best sets, but besides that it's a pretty alright mon. Has trouble setting up due to bulk and typing, but it's a nice koff absorber and is pretty unique among the tiers Grasses. I wouldn't mind voting for this one.
houndectric.png
Boring. Another fast, specially offensive Fire. Megas being banned (which they rightfully should be) makes it extremely mid, and I'd rather just run Torra. I want a Fire/Electric, but this isn't it. Was informed this is Electric/Dark. Which is a big difference. Seems way more interesting, with a much cooler typing now. Very distinctive typing and access to plot are cool, and I can see this going hard with support.

pachkia.png

The sprite is cringe, but to be fair this is just a case of Grousle syndrome (anyone remembers the fork rat?).
But for real, it just exists, it comes off as a decently fast bulky Electric type, but we already have that with Raibat, although this goes for better stats overall in exchange for recovery options, but beyond that it doesn't do anything interesting, and in fact its Dragon typing gets in the way of running BoltBeam, as Dragon STAB is quite redundant with Ice offensively, and so I'm not a fan of this.
yangarde.png

Budget Sandamar-Alola from FEUU right here. Mon's clearly intended to abuse Curse as a physical Quiver Dance, then proceed to sweep stuff. Now, while Thousand Arrows isn't STAB here, and its proper STABs are Fairy food, it still gets Roost, which greatly increases its longevity to keep setting up further. Honestly this seems maybe potentially concerning, but beyond that the concept is kinda fine, even if not too original, so I'm somewhat okay with it.
rapidconda-g.png

No, it's name is "Discord", and its sprite was taken from elsewhere based on the My Little Pony character, but to be fair I'm sure the rename and resprite just went unnanounced (cough, Faro to Maroligatr-Alola, cough).
Anyways, this overlaps with Hatterune (both are physically bulky and slow Ground/Fairy types). Its ability sounds very good at first, but then you notice this has no recovery whatsoever, and so can't be used as an stallbreaker, this combined with a quite poor movepool for its purposes makes me think this is a lame mon, so I'm not a fan.
arcalie.png

Ability name is cringe.
But for real however, the ability effect is cool, although its status movepool may be a bit barebones to make the most of it. It still gets solid offensive stats, typing and pivoting, so I can easily see this adapting to the meta as it develops further, potentially abusing its ability in ways such as turning stuff into setup bait or to wall physical attackers with Morning Sun. Overall it's a decent mon.
rapipom.png

Oh yes, a classic from the FEUU drop phase. For a while I wasn't a fan as its typing isn't the best offensively and so were its stats in general. But then I noticed it abuses Technician in an interesting way, namely, Flame Charge becomes a workable STAB option that allows it to outspeed the whole meta, and with the lower power level compared to FEUU, this appears right at home. Overall it's a cool mon worth to consider.
thieveon.png

Ability is stretchy and you know it. None of Thievul's abilities relate to speed, and even then Synchronize isn't inherently related to the status of the opponent, which can be extrapolated from it affecting the opponent and isn't as stretchy, however, but still doesn't do any favors on that regard. If this wins you can bet I'll insist for the rest of the mod's life for its ability to be changed for something else like I did to Slurpum.

Edit: Nevermind, Thievul gets Unburden, but this is still borderline if you ask me

Anyways, leaving all of that at a side, it entirely outclasses Azekrow beyond suicide lead sets, but to be fair that's a shitmon waiting for FENU at this point. Even then, while it forces out Poison types out of Psychic STAB, its ability is too gimmicky to be reliable even with Toxic Spikes support, can't switch into hazard control mons (Claylamar, several Silvino forms, Nashifu, Manditop, Serpeblim, Cofazor), and is redundant with Thunder Wave support. Psychic/Dark is also well known for being terrible offensively, and while it has somewhat strong stats, it still has next to no defensive utility and is in an awknard spot for teambuilding for the before-mentioned reasons.

Overall this comes off as a forced trashmon that was added here as the council couldn't find anything better.
venoqueen.png

This looks pretty balanced for the current meta, while its ability and movepool are very strong, this struggles against Flying types, which stands out when local S tier mon Masquerajah fully shuts this down, in fact I would dare to say that it outclasses it as a Quiver Dance mon too, this combined with Poison Point being filler out of low physical bulk and a eh typing defensively speaking makes me think this isn't worth a redundant slot in the meta. Give it Sheer Force+Tinted Lens if you want it to have a niche : V, and list stuff like Stealth Rock and Roost in its notable moves.
sandslash-prime.png

This is just Mamoswine but better, in fact I think this may be overpowered once we get a weather setter of either weather, Ground/Ice is very good offensively, has a ton of utility and has really solid bulk as well, like, only Metagon and Eelektoad can expect to wall this, but at least one of them is a very prominent mon in the meta.
It doesn't help that this kinda overlaps with Avarupt, both are bulky Ground/Ice mons with a ton of utility, so I'd recommend to just use that instead and save your vote for something more worthy.

grovytal.png

Ability is stretchy 2. We just went a while ago in FEUU over how Unburden doesn't relate to the lack of an item in this manner IIRC, and so I'll be annoyed if this questionable effect remains just because of grandfather clause (Aka, "FEOU was dumb, so we'll just drop stuff as is with no fixes if it's not broken to be faithful or whatever").

Anyways, the typing sucks offensively and defensively, and its speed tier being multiplied by x1.3 if itemless leaves it in an annoying spot to measure compared to the standard of x1.5 with Choice Scarf, especially when this can also apply to the opponent, turning it into an unfun concept from the start. It may also struggle finding a niche in Tapu Lop teams as it competes with Hoopagigas-Unbound out of both being offensive Dark types, and it doesn't help this gets walled hard by Fairy types and only has setup on the offensive side it has no coverage whatsoever.

Overall this mon is cringe.
houndectric.png

Electric/Fire sounds like a solid Masquerajah answer at first, until you realize this is still vulnerable to Ground and can get OHKO'd on the spot with Earth Power. Beyond that, it gets walled hard by Dragon types out of poor coverage, but at least it isn't walled by the top tier mon Metagon as it's neutral to Fire. That being said, it doesn't strike me as a mon worth adding as it unecessarily restricts options for future slates to improve the meta (namely proper Masquerajah counterplay) and doesn't have an inherent niche and in fact seems quite outclassed by Torranadus, Litleesect and G-Strikados.

Overall it's an existent and arguably redundant mon.

not going in order here.

houndectric.png
boo my houndoom fusion is cooler and a better masq counter since it has competitive to counter sticky web and defog

yangarde.png
physical QD? Sandamar did it first, but this is also really sick too with tarrows and core enforcer, though its probably always gonna run a physical curse set.

sandslash-prime.png
really like this one. basically unresisted STABs with Fire Punch for coverage, also has Swords Dance but uhhh useless ability since no weather lol

grovytal.png
this one isn't quite it, can't use Knock Off viably since ability. so has to rely on Crunch and Sucker Punch.

venoqueen.png
no thoughts.

pachkia.png
no thoughts x2.

rapidconda-g.png
mehhh, Hatt overlap was the first thing i noticed with this mon so i dont really like it. even without hatt.

arcalie.png
now, this has got to be my third favorite mon in this slate. its ability is neat, and it has a free parting shot that also gives its ally a completely safe switch.

rapipom.png
eh, its cool but im not the biggest fan of it.

thieveon.png
cool mon but azekrow overlap.

Hyper Offense seems to love this slate tbh.

pachkia.png

personally not feeling it, but I see the appeal to such a concept. Hatt really tells it to fuck off though LMAO

yangarde.png

Curse sets go hard, feel free screenshot. Anyway, Thousand Arrows STAB smells, but coverage? Nice! Not sure if special goes as hard as Curse, but we love STAB Core Enforcer.

rapidconda-g.png

bob makes a good point. This mon really does remind me heavily of Hatterune. Morning Sun, Glare and a big phsyical leaning are good enough ways to make it distinct but I still dont really vybe with it enough to beits own Pokémon.

arcalie.png

Not interested, thoughI admit Prankster TWave but on something good is kind of interesting.

rapipom.png

My boy.

thieveon.png

i just dont like the mon. I hate the typing, the ability is weak, struggles to fight literally any wall in the tier with its yeeyee ass typing. I dont care about outclassing some FEPU Pokémon, but the mon itself doesnt strike me as cool, sorry.

venoqueen.png

Streets say this is fine and I trust the streets.

sandslash-prime.png

SD Dual STAB is what you see in results when you google "going hard". Mon is imo an easy top tier, and beingable to potentially break past Metagon is hilarious. What I dislike is people crying over the existence of weather. Bro if the mon seems wack with weather just dont vote that in. Its not that hard.

grovytal.png

i dont like this either. Ability is just blegh. Rework it to Grass Aura or sumn, even if it means nerfing attacking stats a bit.

houndectric.png

This not being Fire typed imo ismajor boon imo, Id rather it be free to go Scarf and be able to do worthwhioe chip to Lando cringe mo. Hat probably beat its ass regardless so it being a full counter is a non issue to me. Lastly does not compete heavily with the Fires in the tier, it beats them! Definitely voting for this.

pachkia.png
kinda meh, not feelin it with this one
yangarde.png
i LOVE this, physical quiver dance??? STAB core enforcer?????? yes please gimme gimme feru vgc double curse strats lets goooo
rapidconda-g.png
actually kinda like this and i feel it fulfills a different role than hatt, its more of a set up sweeper than whatever hatt runs these days, it has a lot of ways to distinguish itself from the other ground/fairy in the tier, mainly those that were listed by G-Luke, but alas, really cool mon
arcalie.png
no thoughts head empty
rapipom.png
interesting tech abuser, really feels like it could be a staple of feru
thieveon.png
weak. weird. no.
venoqueen.png
Y E S, this is what i wanted all along, now just give it sheer force /hj
sandslash-prime.png
better mamoswine goes hard
grovytal.png
design is extremely cool, but this feels very mid. again as g-luke said, grass aura would be more interesting.
houndectric.png
ability name is cringe. overall would like one of the megas to be allowed otherwise this turns into a very uninteresting pokemon

prob voting for: Venoqueen, Rapipom, Yangarde, Rapidconda-Galar, Arcalie, Prandlash(?)

Some really good discussion! Anyways, voting is open. This will be done in-thread, just like we did in UU, and the top 3 or 4 (depends on votes) Pokemon will win. Follow these voting rules when voting, just take not of the fact that you can also vote for No Winner.

edit: also, just for fun, you can guess which 2 fusions were picked by each council member! Note that Magmajudis did not pick for this slate, instead a mystery 5th did.
