Sticky Web is an inconsistent strategy in OU and Galvantula is outclassed as a user of it. Other than Sticky Web, it is an inferior offensive Pokemon, and there's no reason to use it over Shuckle or a better offensive Pokemon like Thundurus, because if you try to do both you end up with neither. Galvantula was popular early in the metagame, but it's ineffective now.
