Gem Psychics upon the Deck on Ground (Gem vs DK)

Hrrrm, gotta get a KO this round, even if it costs me... then again, might as well take it slow.

Goldeneye, keep up the pressure.

Arena : Muckraker Swamp

Flustered, Gem pushed Coracier-Bronzor towards a full-on assault. Surprised by the tactic, Goldeneye-Nincada made a slip- and failed to evade a barrage of Ancient, Powered fossils- whoa, how did all those fossils end up at Muckraker Swamp? I was tempted to get a few, but... eurgh. Maybe later. When I turned back to the battle, it appears that Silvery dusts settled upon the fainted Coracier-Bronzor... It looks like that hit is the pendant's last. Who will Gem send out next to take on the bug?

Arena : Muckraker Swamp

Deck's sleazy tactics certainly got him this far, and it looks like yet another unsuspecting opponent will fall to his pounding. Cuivre-Cupra's attempt to cleanse the swamp of the mud with Hydro Pumps, just for the sake of a fairer battle, is foiled when Goldeneye-Nincada continues to thrash and splash in the Mud like it's a food fight in a kids' cafeteria. Even the green veil covering Cuivre-Cupra's body isn't doing much to Safeguard her from the retching muck, and soon she started heaving! What's worse, Gem seems to be hyperventilating slightly... Is she, uhh, having some problems with her breathing mask?

Gem breathes

If Silver Wind's effect was successful, Nincada's Speed would have been raised and it would have attacked first on A2 and A3, it' also have increased Attack, Special Attack, and SpD for A2 and A3.

Also, Hydro Pump's base accuracy is 80%, not 85%. This doesn't make any difference for the hit calculations, but Nincada should be acting first.

EDIT: Dumb me, Cupra's Acc shouldn't have been lowered anyway as it has both Shield Dust and Keen Eye to prevent that, meaning Nincada should be hit twice.

Alright Nincada, time to finish this up.

Disappointed at how the battle is going, Gem pouted. Surprisingly, Deck found those pursed lips... enticing. Of course, he had a reputation to keep, so he couldn't just sweep Gem off her knees and kiss her in the mouth. But his attention did lapse into certain fantasies... A terrible error. Goldeneye-Nincada stared back at his trainer, Winded at Deck's facial expression. Cuivre-Cupra took the opportunity to aim carefully, and then let loose a huge burst of Fire-Hose-water that slammed into the bug and doused Deck Knight from head to toe for good measure. That may not be the best move, but I'm sure the copper larvae felt good as damnation.

Exhausted and helpless, Cuivre-Cupra laid down, as even the pelting rocks are unable to stop Caldera-Numel's slow, inexorable advance. Despite being flummoxed at his reactions, Deck is not a sadistic man - merely tactical. He ordered a simple setup, then allowed Gem to retrieve her baby instead of going all out. Hate to be a stickler but you seem to have forgotten Fire is SE against Bug. Flame Charge should be doing 14 damage, not 9.5.

Despite Caldera-Numel's obvious fatigue, Deck opts to take a stand as Poipic Beldum newl enters the Swamp. Tat didn't stop the humped Pokemon's spirits though - it rocked the ground with a Magnitude 9 quake that had the meteorite arm flailing for balance. Gem used it for momentum, ordering Poipic-Beldum to leap forward against the Flames Bursting from Caldera-Numel's back, and Headbutt its opponent back into Zen submission.
