[Gen 3] Hoennification Open I

Hoennification is a format where mons from Gen 4-9 are added to the ADV metagame. This means no later Gen items, Abilities, moves, or mechanics are included, making the mons somewhat stripped down. Illuminate is given to mons with no Gen 3 Ability, and Normal type replaces Fairy. Megas are usable without Mega Stones. Also of note is tradebacks moves are given to Gen 1-3 mons. Notably, Drizzle and Drought are banned. NOTE: This format is highly untested. I am inviting players to test match in the weeks ahead of the tournament start date to determine healthy bans. I will be editing the original post with the current/updated banlist.

Important rules and information:
- Matches will be best-of-three in the [Gen 3] Hoennification format on Dragon Heaven (defined as the first player to win two games, i.e. ties are not counted).
- Replays of all tournament games must be posted.
- The tournament will be double elimination, i.e. a Winner's/Loser's bracket.
- Each round will last one week.
