Pokémon: Rapidash
Typing: Fire
Stats (changes highlighted in bold): 80(+15)/100/70/65(-15)/75(-5)/110(+5) (500)
Abilities (changes highlighted in bold): Flash Fire/Unburden/Defiant
How this makes it more interesting:
Slightly better Speed and HP to better sustain recoil damage and two good abilities to either pull off a SD + Seed set under Terrains or punish attempt to Intimidate him. Flash Fire isn't too shabby either, as in CFM it raises the higher offensive stat by one when hit by a Fire move. Didn't add new moves, as imo Rapidash already has just the right moves it needs for its job.

Pokémon: Mr. Rime
Typing: Ice/Psychic
Stats (changes highlighted in bold): 105(+25)/65(-20)/75/113(+3)/87(-13)/90(+20) (535)
Abilities (changes highlighted in bold): Tangled Feet/Ice Body/Screen Cleaner
Moves: +Court Change, Sheer Cold, Taunt, Torment
How this makes it more interesting: Stat were adjusted following the lead of CFM Mr. Mime. Now Mr. Rime can pull off a NP + Spin set better with its newfound Speed, but other than that it gets more supportive options, most notably Court Change (kind of bugged me how Cinderace had two signature moves whereas the other Galar starter had just one), giving it another option to control the battlefield.
Note: to go along with Mr. Rime's stat spread, I'm also including a new spread for Galarian Mr. Mime (85/55/65/93/77/110) after talking with the others on Discord.

Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for you submissions! It's time to enter the voting phase! Please vote for you three favourite submissions ranked in order of preference (and a reminder that you can't vote for yourself first. As we're short on Rapidash submissions, you need only vote for two of course. Voting will continue until Friday!

Typing: Fire
Stats: 80 (+15) / 110 (+10) / 70 / 80 / 80 / 105
Abilities: Flame Body / Flash Fire / Quick Feet
Moves: -Solar Blade (really doesn't fit this thing), +Nasty Plot (let it have some special options, especially with Hidden Power being a thing)
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities:
Horn Drill: (CFM: physical Normal Overheat clone) when used by Rapidash, becomes a Fire-type attack
How this makes it more interesting: This horse is actually really cool and versatile, and I've used it in tiers from ZU to UU without much complaint - except for its mediocre stat distribution. So, I've just given it a little boost to make it a little tougher, and a little stronger. I've given it a signature move: a physical Overheat clone in Horn Drill, to give it something just a bit unique. Quick Feet also remedies its middling speed, although it forces it to use Toxic Orb, and the addition of Nasty Plot also gives it the option to run a surprise special set.

Pokémon: Mr. Rime Pantifrost
Typing: Ice/Psychic
Stats (changes highlighted in bold): 80 / 70 (-15) / 85 (+10) / 110 / 100 / 75 (+5)
Abilities (changes highlighted in bold): Own Tempo, Ice Body, Screen Cleaner
Moves: None
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities: Psyshock - 90 BP
How this makes it more interesting: IDK, but can we please name it Pantifrost in the Randbats? If you can make Entei Hentei...
Pokémon: Mr. Rime
Typing:
/

Stats: 80 / 75 (-10) / 75 / 115 (+5) / 90 (-10) / 100 (+30) (535 BST)
Abilities: Tangled Feet, Filter, Screen Cleaner
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities:
Screen Cleaner: Only clears screens on the foe's side
How this makes it more interesting: Mr. Rime is already so close to being good, it just needed some very minor additions, in particular an actually good speed tier. Now it can actually properly flex its badass movepool, in particular as a really dope asset to Screens teams or teams weak to Screens.
Typing: Ice/Psychic
Stats: 80 / 85 / 75 / 110 / 100 / 80 (+10)
Abilities: Tangled Feet / Ice Body / Screen Cleaner
Moves: +Teleport (it doesn't need much else - its movepool is amazing)
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities: Screen Cleaner only affects the target's screens. No mon on the opposing side can set up screens while this mon is active.
How this makes it more interesting: Well, this mon already was pretty good - it just needs a little bit more speed. I also gave it a useful pivoting move that benefits from that (Teleport is neutral priority in CFM), and buffed its signature ability to not be quite so terrible. It doesn't need too much to get it going since Rapid Spin + Nasty Plot is already pretty good IMO.

Typing: Dragon/Ghost
Stats (changes highlighted in bold): 70 (-18) / 130 (+10) / 65 (-10) / 110 (+10) / 65 (-10) / 160 (+18)
Abilities (changes highlighted in bold): Infiltrator, Clear Body, Liquid Ooze
Moves:
Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Flip Turn, Explosion, Shadow Claw, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities: Liquid Ooze - This pokemon gains the water type. This ability will change the ability of pokemon that come in contact to Liquid Ooze.
How this makes it more interesting: If Dragapult is gonna be an Uber, may as well go all the way with it. STAB Liquidation hits like a truck, and Z-Explosion can take out most mons that Dragapult needs help with.
Typing:
/

Stats: 88 / 110 (-10) / 75 / 110 (+10) / 75 / 142 (600 BST)
Abilities: Compound Eyes, Infiltrator, Parental Bond
Moves:
+Focus Blast, Poltergeist
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities:
Dragon Darts: Physical or Special depending on higher attack stat
How this makes it more interesting: The additions are all based around enhancing its dreepy-launching flavor. While normally given to bug-like mons, Compound Eyes in this case is not only a reflection of the razor-accurate stealth bomber inspiration, but also of how its Dreepies can scope out foes with greater accuracy. Meanwhile Parental Bond is a reference to the strange affinity the pair have for each other despite Dreepy being used as weapons. The former addition lets it do its Hex + Will-O bs from standard better while the latter gives it more firepower for choice sets.
Typing: Dragon/Ghost Ghost/Dragon
Stats
: 75 ( -13) / 128 (+8) / 70 (-5) / 110 (+10) / 70 (-5) / 147( +5)
Abilities: Infiltrator / Storm Drain / Adaptability
Moves: +Ice Beam, Blizzard, Earth Power, Earthquake, Slam (100BP, 100%Acc, 33% recoil - matches the user's primary typing), Aqua Tail, Inferno (Fire/Physical; 120BP, 80% Acc; 20% burn), Glare, Iron Tail (Steel-type Liquidation), Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Gunk Shot, Nasty Plot, Destiny Bond, Hyper Beam (150BP 90% Acc, no drawbacks), Defog, Taunt, Roost
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities:
Dragon Darts: 60BP, 90% Acc; hits twice (with usual Dragon Darts mechanics)
How this makes it more interesting: Just tried to buff the hell out of this thing in order to make it good in Ubers - since NatDex OU has already proven that it's broken there. With just about every move under the Sun and with great speed, it makes a great utility mon for picking off whatever the user needs it to remove. It has awesome coverage to match its already fairly great STAB - speaking of which, its STAB moves are all much better in CFM. Draco is 140BP, Dragon Pulse and Shadow Ball are 90BP, Phantom Force is 75BP without requiring a charge turn, Slam serves as a 100BP pseudo-STAB Ghost move and Dragon Darts gets a little buff. Combine that with great support moves in Glare, Defog, Taunt, Roost and Destiny Bond, you have a powerful, versatile mon that can do anything you want it to. Since it can't survive any hits in Ubers anyway, I gave it a little bit more power and speed as well.

Thanks to everyone for their submissions and votes! What should we put in our next slate?

Sorry for the delay, guys, next slate will be coming soon, promise ^_^ I'm currently updating the server since there are a few bugs atm. I'm also upgrading it by merging in the latest updates from the official Smogon Showdown server, but since Zarel completely restructures the app every time an update is made, it takes a little time due to compatibility issues - normal service will resumed soon though!

Ladies and gentlemen, apologies for the delay! Still one or two things to sort with the server, but let's start the next slate anyway! Today, we've got a few more things yet to be blessed with CFM's magic:

1619989611842.png

Skuntank
Target tier: ZU-NU
Target BST: 480-500
Reason:
Everyone's favourite skunk has barely changed since Gen 4, and pretty much the only buff it's received since release is Defog. Fortunately, it still gets to keep Pursuit in CFM, but maybe we can make it a little more interesting than that? It doesn't even get Knock Off, and its abilities are pretty dreary too. We're also looking for something to make the ability Stench more useful.

1619993524863.png

Floatzel
Target tier: ZU-NU
Target BST: 495 (no change)
Reason:
This mon's actually already pretty damn good in the lower tiers, and I don't think there's much need to elevate it beyond. However, it is a little dull, and has barely changed since its Gen 4 release as well. It also only has a choice of two abilities - what would you give it for a third?

1619993608987.png

Centiskorch
Target tier: ZU-NU
Target BST:
~530
Reason:
What should the physical equivalent of Volcarona is... disappointing, to say the least. In CFM, at least its signature move Fire Lash has been buffed to 100BP with the Defence drop chance lowered to 50%, and Flash Fire can raise its Attack, but otherwise, it's just... a little underwhelming. What can we do to make it more interesting?

Please use the following template to make your submissions! We will voting a week from now.

Moves:
Dragon Dance
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities: Swarm - When this pokemon makes contact with another, there is a 30% chance for the opponent to be infested.
How this makes it more interesting: So, Fire Lash didn't kill, but you got the defense drop. Well, good for you, but the opposing pokemon can just switch out. Oh, wait, they can't because of Swarm. Excellent! Now, the defense drops will stack, you can set up a bit... And your opponent goes down.

Pokémon: Skuntank
Typing: Poison/Dark
Stats (changes highlighted in bold): 106 (+3)/100 (+7)/79 (+12)/60 (-11)/70 (+9)/85 (+1) (500)
Abilities (changes highlighted in bold): Stench/Aftermath/Keen Eye
Moves: +Gunk Shot
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities: Stench - While the user is on the field, Poison-type Pokémon gain 1/16 of their HP at the end of each turn. Non Poison-types lose 1/16 of their HP instead (Effect inspired by Ability Balance, an old 6th Gen Mod by Sun King).
How this makes it more interesting: Skuntank used to be a weird bundle of trapping/decent defensive capability with a nice typing, actually serviceable for the lower tiers. These changes help it performing better what it did before; the new Stench effect helps weakening its target to compensate its not-so-stellar offense (although it does heal Poison-types that may check it, so beware) and accurate Gunk Shot (thanks to Keen Eye boosting accuracy in CFM) is there if you need it.

Pokémon: Skuntank
Typing: Poison/Dark
Stats: 113 (+10) / 103 (+10) / 67 / 71 / 61 / 84 (499 BST)
Abilities: Stench / Aftermath / Neutralizing Gas (Hidden)
Moves: +Flare Blitz, Blaze Kick (CFM: 95/100), Gunk Shot
Tweaks to existing abilities:
Stench: While this Pokémon is on the field, the residual damage dealt by the poison status is doubled.
How this makes it more interesting: Skuntank already learns a lot of Fire-type moves, but none of them work off its superior attack stat, which is now high enough to mean something. Neutralizing Gas is a fun new tool that lets it take advantage of Pokémon that are reliant on their abilities to function. Meanwhile, Stench lets it shine as a wallbreaker, doubling the damage inflicted by the poisoned and badly poisoned statuses. It can put a lot more immediate pressure on heavy-duty walls either through Gunk Shot's poison chance or through Toxic; even normal poison becomes a problem when it removes 25% of your HP. The extra HP gives it a bit more sponging potential and increases its survivability.

Pokémon: Floatzel
Typing: Water
Stats: 85 / 105 / 55 / 85 / 50 / 115 (495 BST)
Abilities: Swift Swim / Propeller Tail / Water Veil (Hidden)
Moves: +Cross Chop, Extreme Speed, Fake Out, Vacuum Wave
Tweaks to existing abilities:
Propeller Tail: The user's moves with increased priority bypass protection.
How this makes it more interesting: Coming up with a Propeller Tail buff that doesn't break Barraskewda too is tough, but Floatzel has access to a much wider array of priority moves now, including a special option. Not too much has changed about it overall, but Protect-bypassing Extreme Speed and Aqua Jet makes its Bulk Up sets scarier, and special sets can use Vacuum Wave for priority too.

Pokémon: Centiskorch
Typing: Fire/Bug
Stats: 100 / 115 / 65 / 65 (-25) / 90 / 90 (+25) (525 BST)
Abilities: Flash Fire / White Smoke / Flame Body (Hidden)
Moves: +Dragon Hammer, Steamroller
Tweaks to existing moves:
Flame Wheel: 40 BP, +1 priority, loses its burn chance, distribution reduced (specifically looking at Marowak-A, Entei, Darmanitan, and Infernape here)
How this makes it more interesting: Really too bad Megahorn isn't justifiable, but Centiskorch is already basically fine, it just suffers from having low Speed. Now it can Coil properly, Flame Wheel gives it access to a fun priority move, and it can choose from either Fire Lash or Inferno, both of which are viable Coil choices with the CFM buffs. It suffers a bit from four moveslot syndrome as usual, but it's much trickier to stop if it can manage a Coil or two. New moves are mostly flavour.

So, further to my previous post, it's been decided that the first thing to do before resuming slating is getting the custom teambuilder back online! Although we had a version of that working previously that we tested on Discord, recent changes to the server on the Smogon side of things have broken it. So, I'll try and get that running soon as possible!

awesome gaming
WOW! I AM A DIPSHIT AND DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE THIS SLATE WAS HAPPENING

Pokémon: Skuntank

Stats: 108 (+5) / 88 (-5) / 61 (-6) / 74 (+3) / 61 / 87 (+3) (480 BST)
Abilities: Stench, Aftermath, Run Away
Moves:
+Belly Drum, Fire Fang, Stomping Tantrum
Tweaks to existing moves/abilities:
Stench: Every other turn on the field, Poisons foe. When used by Skuntank this effect changes after eating a berry, the new effect depending on the berry's Natural Gift type.
Fire: Burn
Water: Soak
Electric: Paralyze
Grass: Leech Seed
Ice: Haze
Fighting: Attack drop
Poison: Bad Poisoning
Ground: Smack down
Flying: Speed drop
Psychic: Telekinesis
Bug: Infestation
Rock: Defense drop
Ghost: Confusion
Dragon: Special Attack drop
Dark: Topsy-Turvy
Steel: Magnet Pull
Fairy: Special Defense drop
Normal: Foresight

How this makes it more interesting:
"It sprays a stinky fluid from its tail. The fluid smells worse the longer it is allowed to fester. " -Pearl dex entry
"In its belly, it reserves stinky fluid that it shoots from its tail during battle. As this Pokémon's diet varies, so does the stench of its fluid." -Sword dex entry
I saw these two dex entries and worked from there for Stench's effects. It already has Natural Gift and Belch, so Belly Drum was all that was left for Berry-abusing moves that are useful for it alongside some additional physical coverage options. 480 BST is to maintain parity with Purugly.

Pokémon: Centiskorch

Stats: 100 / 115 / 75 (+10) / 80 (-10) / 90 / 75 (+10) (535 BST)
Moves: +Guillotine, Vise Grip
How this makes it more interesting: Nothing super ambitious here, just more of the same but improved. Is there a physical Fire or Bug move that would be good for physical White Smoke sets? Guillotine's neat but I feel more can be done there.

Good news, boys and girls! I've pushed a stable fix to the server and now games should be actually playable! There are one or two issues, however, that I'm still unable to fix and at a loss to explain. For example, hazards work but the graphics don't show up - so you just have to remember how many layers of Spikes you've set up for now (just like playing the actual games, lol).

Since there may be other issues of which I'm not aware, we'll be in a tentative testing mode and I encourage you to try battles with each other and the bot - and do please let me know if they are other issues! Once I'm satisfied that all is working as it should (even with automated testing, there is a LOT than can go wrong due to the scale and complexity of this mod, and constant breaking updates by Zarel don't help), we'll be OFFICIALLY back in business.

Thanks very much to everyone for your patience!
