Hello, and welcome friends new and old!
7 years ago today, I came to Smogon with only a handful of matching ball breedables from Pokébeach forums. I’ve been active off and on throughout the years, and over that time I’ve made many great friends, learned a ton about battling, game mechanics, and exploits, and have built an expansive collection that I’m proud of.
To celebrate, I’m giving away shiny versions of 10 of my favorite Pokémon. All have been RNG’d/bred/caught by yours truly, and given meaningful nicknames, held items, and PP Max'd competitive movesets.
My longtime friend TyVip has generously offered the use of his trading bot for this giveaway, so please follow the following steps to get a Pokémon:
HOW TO GET A POKÉMON
- Catch/Breed a Rookidee and give it the corresponding nickname for the Pokémon you want (Rookidee nicknames are listed under each Pokémon)
- Search using trade code 4985 0000.
- Show your nicknamed Rookidee to IGN: TyVip and the bot will trade you the corresponding Pokémon. If you offer anything but a properly nicknamed Rookidee the bot will quit on you.
IMPORTANT INFO
- "You can request multiples, but please share the news with other people instead of taking Pokémon here to rip people off." - taken from Anubis’s giveaway thread.
- All of the Pokémon listed here are clones. This bot is NOT an approved cloning method according to Pokémon Showdown! Wi-Fi's stipulations (a bot can't pass a cloning test).
- These Pokémon are fully redistributable by everyone. That means you can trade them, give them away, or clone them to your heart’s content. However, if I see these Pokémon on any selling website I will stop the GA forever.
- The distribution will last 72 hours over the period of December 17th-December 20th
- Lastly, if the bot crashes while TyVip is sleeping there is nothing he or I can do about it.
