approved by G-Luke

Hello there! Welcome to the third re-installment of The Complete Pokedex Project - Where the goal is to create a complete, three stage line for every Pokemon!
I'd like to thank Ludicrousity, mcFlareon, and Eevee General for creating the first three installments!

However, there are a few things i want to go over, because this iteration will be just a tad different from past versions.

NFE Mons
In some cases, a Pokemon's BST and/or design will be too "complete" to give them an evolution, and their Pre-Evolution could have too low of a BST to create a Pre-Evolution of, in this case, there would be a Pokemon inserted into the middle of the line. There will be an NFE metagame to go alongside this mod.
Do-over
Unfortunately, Past slates have gone undocumented, leading to some whole iterations being lost. After discussion with the Pet Mods community, I have decided to start from scratch. I do hope you all are willing to step forward with this fresh start.
Custom Elements
We are going to try to keep custom elements at a minimum, if not none at all.

Now, lets go over the rules for submissions!

Rules and Guidelines

  • Format
    • This Pet Mod will be played akin to National Dex format. You can only use Dynamax if you have no Z Crystals or Mega Stones on your team. This mod will also include every line of Pokemon, so we shouldn't run out of slates anytime soon.
  • Stats
    • Most Pokemon do not lose stats upon evolution. However, instances of lower Speed are the most common while lowering Attack, Defense, Special Attack, or Special Defense are pretty rare. The only instance of less HP is with Shedinja, so avoid lowering that stat at all costs.
    • Families typically follow patterns. Sometimes they add stats in the same intervals. Sometimes they keep two stats identical as they evolve. Try to honor these patterns where possible.
    • Don't min/max your submissions either!
    • Make sure to follow the BST caps listed. You are allowed to go lower.
  • Abilities
    • Pokemon usually keep their abilities and the number of abilities while evolving. However, if an ability is going to change it's more likely to be the Hidden Ability.
    • Remember, we aren't making Mega forms here, so don't get too crazy if you give a new ability. Value flavor more than anything.
  • Type
    • It's rare for a Pokemon to change typing upon evolution, but adding a new type to a single-typed Pokemon is reasonable.
    • It's even rarer for a Pokemon to lose a typing to be replaced by another or to be dropped altogether.
    • Again, flavor should be at the forefront if you're considering a new type.
  • Moves
    • Newly evolved Pokemon often learn new moves with their increase in power. Sometimes a new move is even the catalyst for the evolution!
    • A good example is how most Pokemon don't learn Earthquake until their last evolution. The same can be said for Focus Blast. If a Pokemon doesn't learn one of those moves, maybe now is a good time to let it with its final evolution.
  • Mega Stones
    • In the case where single staged or Stage 2 Pokemon can Mega Evolve, the Mega Stone will only apply to that specific stage. That Pokemon can still evolve normally, with more choice of abilities and evolution-specific moves but it can't use the Mega Stone to Mega Evolve anymore.
  • Z Crystals
    • In the case where single staged Pokemon can use a signature Z-Move, the Z Crystal will only apply to that specific stage. That Pokemon can still evolve normally, with more choice of abilities and evolution-specific moves but it can't use the Z-Crystal to use it's Z-Move anymore.

When designing a Pre-Evolution, it's best to reverse the points above (lower the stats, maybe remove a typing, definitely remove some moves, etc.)

Here's the Submission Template!

Can we do Split Evolutionary paths?

Name: Dreadwoodo
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolved Sudowoodo
Type: Rock/Ghost
Abilities: Sturdy/Rocky Head (Intimidate)
Stats: 100/125/130/30/90/25
New/Removed Moves: Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Ball
Evolution Method: Use Curse three times while Dynamaxed as Sudowoodo.
Height: 4'8"
Weight: 94.2 lbs
Design: It looks like a haunted tree with a glowing eyes and fits itself in a haunted woods.
Competitive Niche: A durable ghost for Sand teams with intimidate? Sandstorm means 100/90 Special defenses can go a lot further than appearances can let on, and 130 phys defense with intimidate doesn't hurt either. Granted, it's very slow, so it's likely going last.

Can we do Split Evolutionary paths?

Name: Dreadwoodo
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolved Sudowoodo
Type: Rock/Ghost
Abilities: Sturdy/Rocky Head (Spook - Special Attack version of Intimidate)
Stats: 100/125/130/30/90/25
New/Removed Moves: Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Ball
Evolution Method: Use Curse three times while Dynamaxed as Sudowoodo.
Height: 4'8"
Weight: 94.2 lbs
Design: It looks like a haunted tree with a glowing eyes and fits itself in a haunted woods.
Competitive Niche: A durable ghost for Sand teams? Spook and Sandstorm means 100/90 Special defenses can go a lot further than appearances can let on, ans 130 phys defense doesn't hurt either. Granted, it's slow as shit, so it's likely going last.
Split evolutionary paths will be decided by me each slate. i will mention it in each slate. also, like i said, we're trying to aim for zero custom elements, so if you could change Spook to something else, that would be appreciated.

Name: Alumini (Aluminium + Mini)
Evolution/Prevolution: Evolves into Metalum
Type: Steel
Abilities: Light Metal / Heatproof / Stalwart
Stats: 30/45/65/50/30/35 (BST: 255)
Removed Moves: Giga Impact, Dragon Tail
Evolution Method: Evolves starting at Level 20
Height: 1' 8" (0.5 m)
Weight: 31.1 lb (14.1 kg)
Design: Looks like Larvitar, but clearly the Duraludon version of it.
Flavor (Is this allowed?): Alumini is rather stubborn, but having a body made of lightweight metals, it is prone to having its body bent inwards when attacked. To repair its injuries and grow, it consumes other metals to toughen its body. After it consumes enough metal, it evolves.
Competitive Niche: Not really meant to be highly viable, but it can at least endure some punishment on the physical side and retaliate at least somewhat well.

Name: Metalum (Metal + Alum)
Evolution/Prevolution: Evolves from Alumini, evolves into Duraludon
Type: Steel
Abilities: Light Metal / Heatproof / Stalwart
Stats: 50/65/85/70/40/55 (Total: 365)
Removed Moves: Giga Impact, Dragon Tail
Evolution Method: Evolves while holding Metal Coat
Height: 3' 8" (1.1 m)
Weight: 67.0 lb (30.4 kg)
Design: A Duraludon version of Pupitar, and with the evolved form's arms being interlocked in front of it, stuck to its body.
Flavor: Metalum sits processing the metals within it, to toughen up its own body composition further. It can propel its light body away from danger using powerful bursts of compressed gas, similar to Pupitar, but it prefers remaining still. If it uses too much of its energy fighting or evading foes, it can still consume metals to regain its strength.
Competitive Niche: Likely a Stealth Rocker with utility such as Thunder Wave, Foul Play, Body Press, dual screens, and Metal Burst at higher levels. Probably not the most viable NFE, but certainly not the least.

Gravity Monkey

Que des barz comme si jtais au hebs
is a Top Artist

Name: Exegguted
Evolves from: Exeggcute
Evolved into: Exeggutor
Typing: Grass / Psychic
Abilities: Chlorophyll / Harvest
Stats: 75 / 65 / 80 / 80 / 60 / 45 (BST: 405)
Moves: Kantonese Exeggutor's movepool except Giga Impact, Hyper Beam and Wood Hammer
Evolution Method: Level 27
Height: 1.0 m
Weight: 37.0 kg
Competitive Niche: Uhhh, hard to say... Kinda what exeggutor does, but in NFE I guess. Would probably not be very good even by those standards, though it could have a niche as a relatively bulky Calm Minder.

What it looks like from behind. (Remember the single gigantic Exeggcute from the og sprite? Well it turned into the plant pot that is Exegguted's body)

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Name: Waltal (Stalwart + Metal)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Pre-Evolution of Solidon
Type: Steel / Dragon
Abilities: Light Metal / Heavy Metal | Stalwart
Stats: 40 HP / 35 Atk / 75 Def / 80 SpA / 30 SpD / 50 Spe | BST: 310
Removed Moves: - Stomping Tantrum, - Hyper Beam, - Giga Impact, - Stone Edge, - Laser Focus, - Breaking Swipe, - Hone Claws
Evolution Method: Basic Stage; breed a female Duraludon or any Duraludon with Ditto to obtain a Waltal Egg
Height: 0.8 meter
Weight: 10 kilograms
Design: Waltal is more rounder, with the arms shaping like simple blasters. The legs are also smaller, and the eyes are more pronounced. It also tend to walk with both hands and feet.
PokéDex Entry: "While Waltal is small, it shoots a beam of light that can obliterate several boulders. However, it needs to take a rest by feeding on metallic product whenever it used its metallic cannons."
Competitive Niche: A potential Steel Beam abuser for the LC format, Waltal sports a great base Special Attack, and can set up Stealth Rock, Light Screen or Reflect, while being able to fend off opposing Dragon-type with its own physical bulk and neutral damage. However, Diglett and Magneton pose brutal threats to it, and fast special attackers like Abra and Gastly can OHKO it quickly.

Name: Solidon (Solid + -don affix)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolution of Waltal, Pre-Evolution of Duraludon
Type: Steel / Dragon
Abilities: Light Metal / Heavy Metal | Stalwart
Stats: 50 HP / 75 Atk / 95 Def / 100 SpA / 40 SpD / 55 Spe | BST: 420
Removed Moves: - Hyper Beam, - Giga Impact, - Laser Focus, - Hone Claws, - Breaking Swipe
Evolution Method: Level 30 for Waltal; evolves into Duraludon if it learns Flash Cannon (learnt by Solidon at level 44).
Height: 1.2 meter
Weight: 20 kilograms
Design: Solidon have some sharper edges, with the eyes looking more menacing and starts to walk with just its two legs. The arms are more defined and have three edges. The body become much more rectangular, acting like a shell.
PokéDex Entry: "Solidon is resting by absorbing photon energy from various light sources, and also eating light metals, in order to fuel up further and become stronger. Whenever it sees a Pupitar, it tries to knock it out with a beam of flashing steel."
Competitive Niche: I don't build this with NFE metagame in mind, since I don't know much what a potential NFE metagame would be. However, another Special Attacking Steel-type for the NFE metagame cannot hurt... although it do compete with Magneton who got better stats and Abilities, but Solidon compensates by being able to set Stealth Rocks, use of Foul Play, and doesn't have any double weaknesses.

Name: Yamossto
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolution of Sudowoodo
Type: Rock / Grass [Develop moss into the body]
Abilities: Sturdy / Rock Head | Water Absorb
Stats: 80 HP / 120 Atk / 135 Def / 40 SpA / 85 SpD / 40 Spe | BST: 500
New/Removed Moves: + Seed Bomb, + Horn Leech [Horns developed from its samurai like horns], + Giga Drain, + Energy Ball, + Solar Beam, + Growth [Moss growth], + Bulk Up [see PokéDex Entry], + Swords Dance [Hands more sharp], + Slash, + Night Slash, + Leaf Blade, + Metal Claws, + Psycho Cut, + Giga Impact, + Hyper Beam
Evolution Method: Have Sudowoodo to learn Wood Hammer in [non-canon Region].
Height: 1.6 meter
Weight: 347.4 kilograms
Design: Develop its body into an armor-like body similar to an armored samurai warrior, with the "horns" of its head becomes much more tree-like and sharper. Moss also cover the elbows, the legs (that got longer and sturdier) and on its neck. Its body remain solid rock otherwise, but do develop a more tree-like pattern.
PokéDex Entry: "Yamossto focus on their training and ensure that their body become sturdy enough to take and make more powerful blows [hence Bulk Up]. They also become significantly more tolerant to water than their pre-evolutions, all thanks to Yamossto's water-thirsty moss. It imitates a banzai tree so well that not even Sudowoodo could recognize their leading Yamossto at first sight."
Competitive Niche: Set up bulky sweeper. While its Special bulk isn't really useful compared to its physical bulk, it can maintain itself with Horn Leech (STAB Grass-type recovery attack), or set up with Bulk Up or Sword Dance. Rock Head allows recoil free Wood Hammer and especially Head Smash. However, outside of a Trick Room team, it had to take a hit before it could strike, and can be worn down by Burn or Toxic.

Name: Buku (corruption of fugu, which is Japanese of pufferfish)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Pre-Evolution of Qwilfish
Type: Water / Poison
Abilities: Poison Point / Swift Swim | Rattled
Stats: 45 HP / 75 Atk / 75 Def / 35 SpA / 35 SpD / 75 Spe | BST: 330
New/Removed Moves: - Revenge, - Destiny Bond, - Take Down, - Assurance, - Taunt, - Self-Destruct, - Scary Face
Evolution Method: Evolves into Qwilfish at Level 20.
Height: 0.3 meter
Weight: 1.9 kilograms
Design: Only two spikes, one on the left and one on the right, and the eyes are presented as much more worried with perpetual panic. The tail is also shorter. Generally brighter body colors.
PokéDex Entry: "Buku had a lack of courage, always puffing up in fear whenever a predator or other stranger Pokémon is nearby. The poison is very lethal, which is why almost any known predators would rather avoid, but Buku's rattling tendency proved to be detrimental and greatly annoys the other aquatic Pokémon."
Competitive Niche: I'm no LC specialist, but I can tell that Swords Dance + Aqua Jet can make a lot of mess for anything that don't resist Water or have really fat physical bulk.

Name: Navahilate (naval [as in a naval mine] and annihilate)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolution of Qwilfish
Type: Water / Poison
Abilities: Poison Point / Swift Swim | Intimidate
Stats: 85 HP / 115 Atk / 105 Def / 55 SpA / 55 SpD / 95 Spe | BST: 510
New/Removed Moves: + Giga Impact, + Hyper Beam, + Gunk Shot, + Explosion (level up; past Gen for Qwilfish), + Bite, + Crunch, + Torment, + Outrage, + Poison Fangs, + Drill Run, + Hone Claws, + Slash, + Night Slash
Evolution Method: Evolves from Qwilfish after having it defeating three Pokémon in one battle.
Height: 2 meter
Weight: 105 kilograms
Design: The eyes become more sinister with extra red pupils, and gains two spiky fins (one on the left and one on the right), with the mouth changed into a jagged mouth. The spikes are more numerous and the points fades into violet.
PokéDex Entry: "Navahilate can destroy a cargo ship with a single explosion of water, making them a threat to exportation. While a single Navalhilate won't stand a chance against a Gyarados, two or more of them can overwhelm it and even a Dhelmise."
Competitive Niche: Navahilate sets itself apart from Toxapex into focusing for aggressive playstyle. With Intimidate, it can weaken multiple physical threats and backs up its own good physical bulk. But with Swift Swim instead, it can fit into a Rain team to exploit its 95 base Speed to reach blistering speed, and can set up with Swords Dance in advance to put further pressure to most walls. It retain a poor Special Defense, leaving it vulnerable to special attacking powerhouses like Tapu Lele and Alakazam.

Spook what about Pokémon with Alolan / Galarian variants? Wouldnt it make sense to create an Alolan whatever the mid form version of the Exeguttor line is to line up with Alolan Exeguttor?

I should have specified, Midstage Exeggutor is going to evolve into either Alolan Exeggutor or Kantonian Exeggutor. similar to the Pikachu line. I will mention next time if said scenario happens again.

Name: Petriwoodo
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Sudowoodo
Type: Rock
Abilities: Sturdy / Rock Head / Sap Sipper (hidden)
Stats: 115/130/115/40/80/20
New/Removed Moves: Bulk Up, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact
Evolution Method: Trade while holding Strange Log.
Height: 3.6
Weight: 378.9 kg
Flavor: Petriwoodo is constantly grafting wood onto itself in desperation to become a tree, but all wood attached to it turns to stone. It continues to assimilate wood in this fashion until it grows too heavy to move.
Competitive Niche: idk lol

Evolution Method: Level up while knowing Sucker Punch
Height: 2 m
Weight: 100 kg
Design:
1574639500505.png

Competitive Niche: Mostly an all out attacker, filling out Sudowoodo's old role of being Choice Banded, running Wood Hammer / Head Smash / Earthquake / Drain Punch, but could also shed that aside and use Filter and it's hefty physical defense to be a phaser with Circle Throw. Considered giving it Fighting type, but i dont think its justifiable enough.

Duraladon isnt related to Dragonite and family. You can't force this relation either. Please follow the rules dictated in the OP of the thread. Pet Mods are not some playground where you can post your deepest desires.

Durdurby's small legs don't get it far, so it tucks in its extremities and rolls around instead. Living inside caves, it can often be seen chasing after Rolycoly, its natural prey, as well as eating coal it finds.
Competitive Niche: Has decent physical bulk and usable special attack. Sturdy lets it get up Stealth Rock.

Name: Dorsolaro (dorsal + solar)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolution of Durdurby, Prevolution of Duraludon
Type:

Abilities: Light Metal / Heavy Metal / Sturdy (HA)
Stats: 55 HP / 60 Atk / 90 Def / 90 SpA / 45 SpD / 65 Spe (405)
New/Removed Moves: (compared to Duraludon) - Breaking Swipe, Dark Pulse, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Swords Dance / (compared to Durdurby) + Solar Beam, Thunder, Thunderbolt
Evolution Method: Level up to 40
Height: 4 ft / 1.2 m
Weight: 60 lbs / 27.2 kg
Design/Flavor: Kind of has Duraludon's bottom half and short arms, but the top half has a flattened back with a solar panel on it. Dorsolaro uses its flattened back to absorb sunlight, storing the energy in preparation for evolution. As such, it hates cloudy weather, rain, and the cold, so it hides in caves when the weather is not warm and sunny. It can fire the stored energy at aggressors but prefers to avoid combat. When it has stored enough energy, it retreats inside a quiet cave to evolve.
Competitive Niche: I guess it has ok physical bulk with Eviolite?

Name: Conifurius (conifer + furious)

Design/Flavor: Conifurius grows two more arms, all of its arms become longer, and the branches on its head enlarge and cover its forehead giving it an angry appearance (like >:| ). While Sudowoodo are known to fear water, Conifurius hate it. Conifurius was discovered when someone apparently kept trying to water a Sudowoodo, which became increasingly upset until it evolved. It angrily attacks any solid source of water, from sinks to fountains to Water-type Pokemon. Wild Conifurius have even been observed push rocks and large boulders into ponds or streams, attempting to remove water from their environment. Because of its destructive and violent nature, it is strongly recommended for Trainers to keep Conifurius in its Pokeball and to report sightings of wild Conifurius so they can be monitored.
Competitive Niche: Conifurius is a physically bulky physical attacker that can run Rock Head Head Smash or a sweepy Moxie set. Rock/Dark/Fighting coverage hits almost everything, so a set with Stone Edge/Head Smash, Darkest Lariat, and Hammer Arm and be potent. Its last moveslot can include Sucker Punch to help with its low speed, or specific coverage with the elemental punches, Earthquake, or Wood Hammer.

Name: Puckish (pucker + fish)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Prevolution of Qwilfish
Type:

Abilities: Poison Point / Swift Swim / Intimidate (HA)
Stats: 50 HP / 65 Atk / 60 Def / 40 SpA / 40 SpD / 75 Spe (330)
New/Removed Moves: N/A
Evolution Method: Level up to 20
Height: 1 ft / 0.3 m
Weight: 4.8 lbs / 2.2 kg
Design/Flavor: Puckish looks like a smaller, less spiky Qwilfish. Puckish is timid and prefers to avoid confrontations. If forced into a corner, it can suck up water to inflate itself like a balloon, and if that's not enough, its body contains toxins that can knock out even the largest predators. Puckish communicate with one another with their red lips, able to change the redness to express different thoughts and feelings.
Competitive Niche: Puckish is relatively fast in LC. Intimidate lets it switch into physical attackers more easily, giving it opportunities to set up Spikes or Toxic Spikes. It also has Swords Dance so it can even attempt a sweep.

Name: Gnashish (gnash + fish)
Evolution/Pre-Evolution: Evolution of Qwilfish
Type:

Abilities: Strong Jaw / Swift Swim / Intimidate (HA)
Stats: 80 HP / 115 Atk / 100 Def / 60 SpA / 60 SpD / 95 Spe (510)
New/Removed Moves: + Baneful Bunker, Crunch, Giga Impact, Gunk Shot, Hyper Beam, Hyper Fang, Ice Fang, Poison Fang, Psychic Fangs
Evolution Method: Level up while holding a Razor Fang during the day
Height: 3 ft / 0.9 m
Weight: 20 lbs / 9.1 kg
Design/Flavor: Gnashish has longer body still covered in spikes, but the main difference is that it now has large, sharp front teeth. It can bite through the shells of Clamperl and Corphish, and even half-inch-thick steel plates. The toxins in its body are extremely dangerous, able to cause fainting just through contact with your tongue.
Competitive Niche: Gnashish has access to Swords Dance and Strong Jaw-boosted coverage moves. If Strong Jaw is not desired, Intimidate or Swift Swim have their uses as well. Gnashish can be an offensive hazard setter or lead, able to set Spikes and/or Toxic Spikes before using Explosion.
