Pet Mod [Gen 9] Crossover Chaos

Congratulations to ToadBrigade, Totally_Odette and Sigilyph Bro for winning with Hestu, Twinrova, and Snecko. ToadBrigade has earned the title, Ergheiz, and Totally_Odette and Sigilyph Bro have earned the title, Mesal Gear Solid.

This alate's bonus theme is any character that makes up part of a duo. This includes notable partners such as Sonic and Tails as well as characters who are two sides of the same coin, such as Link and Dark Link. Basically, if you regularly see an '&' in between two characters, chances are they qualify for this slate.

Have Fun

No slate bonus submission; no post theme for me

"An Ægir girl who went out of control after ingesting Seaborn cells. Her throat makes no voice, for the prayers of We Many have blocked it. She is drowned in power, becoming what she once detested the most. "
Form: Highmore-Paranoia Illusion (via Gigantamax)
G-Max Move:
G-Max Paranoia -
ghost.png
- Lowers the Defense and Speed stats of all opponents in a Double Battle by 1 stage each.

Reasoning: Primary Ghost-type due to being based on coral and the type that Highmore shares with Cursola, another fellow tormented soul, whose base stat total is just one point higher than Highmore’s. Her secondary Water type references her status as a member of the Aegir race in Arknights, and also calls back to Johtonian Corsola, which has the Water type as well. Most of her abilities derives from her status as a boss fought in Integrated Strategies #3 as a fully-fledged Seaborn monster, which so happens to be her Gigantamax form here. Levitate references her ability to float over the Doctor’s defences and the map’s terrain during the mission in which she is fought, and gives her a Ground immunity, not just a resistance. Her Hidden Ability is Coral Scales, an Ice Scales clone which references the massive RES stat of 70 her enemy form has compared to her playable, humanoid state, which has a RES stat of 0. Regenerator is a slight exception as it also references her ability as an operator to restore her health in a gradual manner during battle with her attacks as well as her Seaborn transformation having its health restored after depleting it once to tell the Doctor it’s not even defeated yet ala Terraria: Calamity’s Yharon as it changes phases like the Jungle Dragon does. Foam Reaper is an Oblivion Wing variation to provide her a reliable source of physical Ghost-type STAB, which similarly restores her health upon damaging an enemy with her sickle as in her source material. Her G-Max Move, as an eldritch Seaborne no longer having human sense, gets G-Max Paranoia, which replaces the spot where Max Phantasm would have been if her Gigantamax and G-Max Move weren’t there. G-Max Paranoia replicates the adverse effects her enemy form inflicts onto her targets via decreasing their attack speed directly, and potentially reducing their defensive stats by Arknights’ Corrosion Damage mechanic. As a sickle-wielding user, she gains slicing moves like Slash, Aerial Ace, Psycho Cut, and Night Slash. Icicle Spear is important Physical Ice-type coverage for her, as the same move is learnt by both Corsola forms and Cursola. Her only forms of recovery are unreliable thanks to her nature as a Reaper Guard, which cannot be healed by Medic Operators, stuck with only Rest and Pain Split to help her recover health (outside of HP-draining moves, of course).

Stats: 100/100/89/55/90/112 (BST: 546)

Reasoning: Primary Bug-type as a youkai based on a centipede, close relative to the insect order and are both in the Arthropoda phylum – already represented in realmons Scolipede and Centiskorch. Her secondary type is Ground because of her hobby as a gem miner. Poison Heal is to provide poison insurance without giving her directly the Poison-type due to her venomous centipede background – multiple non-canon Touhou fanworks take note of this yet her source material does not. Dragon Eater is her non-Hidden Signature Ability to reference her oomukade origin as a devourer of dragon – hatchlings or otherwise. Rocky Payload is her Hidden Ability for a good benefit to her EdgeQuake coverage combo, and fits her dragon gem mining thing that she circulates across Youkai Mountain (most likely via minecart system ala ones you could see built in Minecraft) in the incident of TH18. Her own base stats are an amalgamation of the base stats of Scolipede and Centiskorch and provides herself physical move bias like Scolipede but unlike Centiskorch. Mine Blast, her signature move, is named after one of her Spell Cards, and is a danmaku pattern filled with explosive projectiles, thus its status as a ballistic move. Having Mine Blast have the stats of Egg Bomb would be terrible and will force her to run Earthquake over her signature move, and besides – Egg Bomb was removed in Generation VIII, which was released before Unconnected Marketeers (TH18) anyway (by about a year or so), so it gains more reasonable stats like that of Searing Shot and Seed Flare. Her pickaxe and shovel technically represent her forcipules in a way, so she can use both of her tools for moves like Cross Poison and X-Scissor, which Scolipede so happens to also learn. Power Gem is mainly for tying her to the dragon gem mining operations that indirectly started the incident that lead to Unconnected Marketeers. Many Poison-type moves are learnable for her, including Special Poison-type moves almost all Poison-types learn like Sludge Bomb although are not very useful competitively.

"I want you to have the best vacation ever!"
Pokémon: Vacation Bot
Franchise/Origin: Vacation Simulator
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Steel
Ability: Levitate / Terraforming* / Appraisal**
*Upon switching in, the user sets a terrain based on SpA and SpD IVs: Grassy if both are even, Electric if only SpD is even, Psychic if only SpA is even, and Misty if both are odd.
**Upon switching in, if the user is holding a Heat Rock, then it summons sun and has Fire added to its typing (à la Forest's Curse). Damp Rock, rain and Water. Smooth Rock, sand and Rock. Icy Rock, snow and Ice.
Notable moves: Iron Head, Body Press, Wild Charge, U-turn, Flash Cannon, Discharge, Volt Switch, Psychic, Signal Beam, Tera Blast, Terrain Pulse, Weather Ball, Slack Off, Teleport, Tidy Up, Thunder Wave, Toxic
Other moves: Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Sandstorm, Snowscape, Grassy Terrain, Electric Terrain, Misty Terrain, Psychic Terrain, Magnet Rise, Tar Shot, Mimic, Follow Me, Helping Hand

Vacation Bot v2.png

Reasoning: The theme of Vacation Simulator is that robots have contributed to the creation of an environment dubbed "a rough approximation of 'not jobbing'". (This is the basis behind Appraisal and Mimic.) Vacation Bot is the figurehead of this environment, so this submission is in a similar vein to minimalistic Super Smash Bros. characters like Mr. Game & Watch and Pac-Man. His species of robot is a floating head with invisible arms, electric-powered but totally waterproof, and known to consume fluids such as oil that are not fit for consumption by humans or animals. He himself serves as a tour guide, which is the reason for Follow Me, Helping Hand, and pivoting moves. Worth noting that Efficiency Bot, the de facto vice tour guide (and also the reason this submission fits the "two sides of the same coin" part of the slate theme), proves capable of changing the environment on the player, during the denouement of the "story."
The Vacation Simulator consists of three environments: a beach, a forest (containing a geyser), and a snowy mountain. Objects dropped on the ground do not linger forever, so it stands to reason that somebody has to Tidy Up.

"For the Divine Dragon!"
Pokémon: Framme
Franchise/Origin: Fire Emblem: Engage
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Fighting/Normal
Ability: Scrappy
Custom move: Shielding Art - Fighting, Physical, 80 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | With the same priority as the Focus Punch charge message, when this move is selected, it displays the message: "[Pokémon] has equipped its Shielding Art scroll!" From then until the end of the turn, the user's Defense stat gets a 1.25* boost. Meanwhile, the move itself is executed at 0 priority.
Notable moves: Close Combat, High Jump Kick, Axe Kick, Mach Punch, Mega Kick, Quick Attack, Fake Out, Zen Headbutt, Throat Chop, Bullet Punch, Play Rough, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave, Tera Blast, Dazzling Gleam, Flash Cannon, Recover, Wish, Aromatherapy, Teleport, Block, Whirlwind, Taunt
Other moves: Cross Chop, Double Kick, Triple Kick, Rolling Kick, Karate Chop, Mega Punch, Double Hit, Comet Punch, Pound, Life Dew, Heal Pulse, Refresh, Ally Switch, Flash
Stats: 82/80/70/100/100/110 | 542 BST

Reasoning: Starting off as a martial monk, Framme is an art-wielding infantry unit, hence Fighting/Normal. She gets Scrappy because arts are capable of hitting Emblems, which are pretty much ghosts. Speaking of arts, they are the basis of her attacking moves, with special moves representing how their might is calculated using the average of the holder's Strength and Magic. (Also, Scrollcake translates to Fairy coverage due to being sweets-based like Slurpuff.) Status moves are based on staves, the other kind of equipment accessible to martial monks and the like. (Throat Chop is a cross between the two, a sort of martial maneuver with an effect similar to that of the Silence staff. Same goes for Fake Out and the Fracture staff.) These include Heal, Physic, Fortify, Restore, Freeze, Entrap, Warp, Rescue, Illume, and Silence (also represented in Taunt because it prevents the use of other staves). Base stats = growth rates * 1.5 (HP) or 2 (other), as in the Gen 7 Fates reps.
(She fits the slate bonus because she and Clanne make a duo.)

"Where better to monitor the battle than on healing duty?"
Pokémon: Taion
Franchise/Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Type: Psychic/Grass
Ability: Shieldrender - The user's offensive moves break through protection. (Unseen Fist variant)
Custom moves:
  • Avenging Eagle - Flying, Special, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 20 PP | Has a 20% chance to lower the target's evasiveness.
  • Dark Banner - Grass, Special, 45 BP, 95% Acc, 15 PP | Has a 30% chance to inflict sleep.
  • Atomize - Fire, Special, 60 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | Hits all adjacent foes, with a 10% chance to burn each. Causes the user to switch out.
Notable moves: Psycho Cut, Petal Blizzard, Earthquake, Kowtow Cleave, Body Press, Psychic, Future Sight, Giga Drain, Oblivion Wing, Bug Buzz, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Thunderbolt, Charge Beam, Lava Plume, Snipe Shot, Nature Power, Recover, Wish, Aromatherapy, Substitute, Protect, Cosmic Power, Iron Defense, Taunt
Flavor moves: Rock Throw, Leafage, Night Slash, Double-Edge, Hyper Fang, X-Scissor, Sky Uppercut, Acrobatics, Cross Poison, Leaf Tornado, Heat Wave, Heal Pulse, Double Team, Ally Switch
Z-Move: Tidal Wave - Grass, 175 BP | Drains 75% of damage dealt. Cures all allies of status conditions. | Requires Giga Drain and Taionium Z
Stats: 92/89/75/120/87/90 | 553 BST

"More to add to the playbook."
G-Max Move: G-Max Eightfold Divide (Grass) - 140 BP; forces all active foes to switch out

Reasoning: His weapon of choice is an armband that manipulates spell tags through telekinesis, hence Psychic/Grass. His movepool and Abilities are mostly inspired by the Tactician class, although its skills don't translate very well into Abilities, except Shieldrender which...even then is just a better Unseen Fist. Rock Throw is based on the Luring mechanic, whereby the controlled character can inflict chip damage on an enemy from afar. Psycho Cut, Leafage, and Petal Blizzard correspond to his automatic attacks with the spell tags. Future Sight is inspired by the unspoken requirement of a tactician to think multiple steps ahead, as well as the possibility of preempting an attack with his spell tags. As for the arts, Avenging Eagle and Dark Banner are unique, but the rest are represented by Psychic (Overfall), healing moves (Stormy Skies), and Double Team (Hazy Figure).
EDIT: I extended his movepool because a party member with an Agnian class like Tactician can equip three arts mastered by gaining Kevesi class levels. All such arts are listed below.
Swordfighter
Shadow Eye = Ally Switch (halves own aggro value)
Ground Beat = Earthquake

Medic Gunner
Ether Cannon = Leaf Tornado (lowers accuracy)
Myopic Screen = Thunderbolt (inflicts Daze)

Heavy Guard
Solid Stance = Cosmic Power (reduces damage taken)
Crash Out = Double-Edge (increases aggro)

Flash Fencer
Hidden Thorn = Kowtow Cleave
Cross Impact = X-Scissor

War Medic
Advanced Cooldown = Iron Defense (boosts Defense)
Multi Blast = Draining Kiss (heals when it hits)

Guardian Commander
Shield Bash = Body Press
Noble Taunt = Taunt

Yumsmith
Energy Grenade = Lava Plume (ether AoE that inflicts Blaze)
Flashback = Night Slash (inflicts Break when attacking from the side)

Full Metal Jaguar
Demolition = Heat Wave (ether attack with frontward AoE)
Quickdraw = Snipe Shot

Lone Exile
Soaring Tempest = Sky Uppercut
Gale Slash = Acrobatics

Machine Assassin
Fatal Bite = Hyper Fang (JP: Certain-kill Fang)
Tyrant Cross = Cross Poison (can debuff the target)

Royal Summoner
Elemental Discharge = Charge Beam (boosts elemental damage)
Summon Element = Nature Power
Tidal Wave is the Talent Art of a Tactician, with Giga Drain being the perfect base for it. His G-Max form is based on his Interlink with Eunie (which obviously fits the "duo" part of the slate theme), albeit simplified to hit the sweet spot between accuracy and feasibility. This inspires further art-based moves (because they can be likened to Max Moves): Spirit Raven as Oblivion Wing, Lurking Spider as Bug Buzz, Atomize as a custom move, Grand Priest as Dazzling Gleam, and Body Double as Substitute. (Fleeting Form does not translate well.) His G-Max Move has 140 BP because it does 1400% the damage of a normal attack, and it forces switches as a rough translation of resetting enemy recharge and causing Blowdown. Lastly, his base stats take into account the difference between Tactician stats and those of a Soulhacker with the Balanced Soul skill, as well as his intrinsic stat growth rates. (They can likely be improved, as I haven't fully leveled up every class with every character.)
Differences: -122 Attack, +153 Heal Power, +16 Dexterity, -20 Agility
Percentages: 18% Block Rate, 10% Physical Defense, 30% Ether Defense
(Ranges: 6%-45%, 10%-60%, 10%-65%)
Growth Rates: 92% HP, 99% Attack, 105% Heal Power, 108% Dexterity, 91% Agility

Leader of her new world. Likes to break things.
Pokémon: Terra
Franchise/Origin: One Step from Eden
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Ground/Psychic
Ability 1: Control Earth - Negates the effect of terrains while active. (Cloud Nine / Air Lock variant)
Ability 2: Terraforming (see Vacation Bot)
Hidden Ability: Pyromancer - Fire-type Steelworker
Event Ability: Levitate
Notable moves: Terrain Pulse, Nature Power, Block, Teleport, Future Sight, Psychic, Psyshock, Stored Power, Earth Power, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Scald, Flash Cannon, Power Gem, Sludge Bomb, Hyper Voice, Ice Beam, Leaf Storm, Giga Drain, Shadow Ball, Hex, Hurricane, Focus Blast, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Draco Meteor, Dark Pulse, Bug Buzz, Psychic Fangs, Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Flame Charge, Liquidation, Iron Head, Stone Edge, Gunk Shot, Double-Edge, Body Slam, Ice Spinner, Earthquake, Power Whip, Trailblaze, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Body Press, Drain Punch, Play Rough, Wild Charge, Outrage, Darkest Lariat, Knock Off, Megahorn, U-turn, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Encore, Taunt, Roost, Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Bulk Up, Calm Mind, Dragon Dance, Iron Defense, Reflect, Light Screen

Stats: 83/100/105/100/120/92 | 600 BST
Terra.png

Reasoning: She specializes in the Hearth category of spells, which partly involves manipulating the terrain (hence her name), the basis behind her Ground typing and first two Abilities. As for Psychic, she moves around by teleporting and has a primary weapon consisting of downward laser beams fired from afar. Her Hidden Ability is based on her Pyro loadout, and she also gets Levitate because her non-default skins do that. Most of this is comparable to Claydol, the primary inspiration behind her stat line. (Base 83 HP is based on last gen's Saffron, which was submitted with base 100 HP, and is proportionally parallel to their starting HP values in OSfE: 1000 compared to 1200.) Her movepool consists of terrain-related moves and Teleport for reasons mentioned prior, Block and Bind as parallels to her default loadout, and the rest because spells in OSfE are equivalent to TMs.
She fits the slate theme because Terrable (the final boss of the pacifist route) is the other side of the same coin.

Reasoning: As an NPC, she's like Kecleon in Mystery Dungeon but more beatable and without the dumb recruitment RNG. As a playable character, her money is her HP and what she throws as her primary weapon. When it hits an enemy, or when she loses it by taking damage, it falls on her side of the field so she can regain it by stepping on specific tiles. This makes her comparable to Gholdengo, but the only type that fits her is Normal, so she gets Steely Spirit for pseudo-STAB on Make It Rain. Between battles, she gets access to a random stock of free spells, which are the OSfE equivalent of TMs, hence the rest of her movepool.
She has Uber-level stats and 666 BST because she is the only playable character capable of defeating Serif, whom I would call the "mascot god" of the game.

Competitive Reasoning: Golden Freddy is a physical wallbreaker and late-game cleaner. It doesn't have busted priority, set-up moves or solid defenses of Kingambit, however it has a decent speed tier, amazing coverage and recovery instead.
Flavor Reasoning: Pure Ghost-type because Golden Freddy is more of an "intangible ghost-like entity" than a "possessed animatronic suit with a metal skeleton" so no part-Steel-type. Low defenses are because of the same reason.
Abilities are because:
  • Strong Jaw = FNAF 4 (AKA Fredbear)
  • Cursed Body = FNAF 1 and FNAF 2
  • Supreme Overlord = Ultimate Custom Night (Golden Freddy rules over 50 animatronics in purgatory to enact eternal revenge)
183 HP and 583 BST are both because:
  • Golden Freddy is the only animatronic with two spirits so it should be stronger
  • Golden Freddy has shown the most willpower, being the last spirit to let go of grudges
  • Bite of '83 reference
Pokémon: Callie
Franchise/Origin: Splatoon
Intended Tier: UU
Type: Poison
Ability: Dancer / Tinted Lens
Moves: Parting Shot, Victory Dance, Spin Out, Hyper Voice, Terrain Pulse, Sludge Bomb, Poison Gas, Clear Smog, Smog, Poison Jab, Acid Armor, Baneful Bunker, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Steel Roller, Steamroller, Lock-On, Laser Focus, Defense Curl, Odor Sleuth, Sing, Perish Song, Teeter Dance, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Magnet Bomb, Attract
Signature Move: Splat Roller - (80 BP | 15 PP | Poison | Physical | Ends the effects of Terrains.) [[Poison-type Ice Spinner clone]]
Stats: 80/115/60/90/75/100 (520)
Competitive Reasoning: Hazard setter with pivotting in Parting Shot, also a Set-up sweeper with Tinted Lens + Victory Dance. However, to balance things out, she doesn't get access to Gunk Shot on the physical side, and the only coverage she gets is Rock and Steel, which is pretty bad. Also, you obviously can't run Inky Voice AND Tinted Lens, meaning Boomburst isn't a huge problem.
Reasoning: Poison-type because she inks stuff. Stats are a slightly altered/buffed version of normal Inklingf from Gen 8 CC, because she's, well... an Inkling. Callie's more frail but hits harder because she prefers to go all out, based on her personality and Splatfest themes. Callie is also physical because she prefers the Roller weapons. She's also physical because she's even a costume for Mii Brawler in Smash Ultimate.
In Splatoon 2, the brainwashed Callie is the one responsible for "renovations" in Octo Canyon, adding many traps and dangers to it, that is why I gave her entry hazards and Rock-type moves. Tinted Glasses is from her being brainwashed by hypnoshades, a pair of special black glasses. She also wears regular black glasses in Splatoon 1.
Pokémon: Yuri Lowell
Franchise/Origin: Tales of Vesperia
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Dark/Fighting
Ability: Justified/Pickpocket/Pressure
Moves: Brutal Fang, Crushing Eagle, Fury Swipes, Arm Thrust, Comet Punch, Night Slash, Blaze Kick, Ice Spinner, Sacred Sword, Close Combat, Smack Down, Knock Off, Pursuit, Sucker Punch, Mach Punch, Brutal Swing, Power Gem, Ancient Power, Recycle, Sky Uppercut, Force Palm, Psycho Cut, Air Slash, Aerial Ace, Dual Chop, Shadow Claw, Vacuum Wave, Swords Dance, Focus Energy, Lock-On, Thief, Taunt, Swift, X-Scissor, Retaliate, Revenge, Punishment, Natural Gift, Low Kick, Hidden Power, Frustration, Return, Hold Back, Foresight, Fake Out, Feint Attack, Feint, Facade, Endure, Double-Edge, Double Hit, Calm Mind, Brick Break, Beat Up, Assist, Agility
Signature Move:
Brutal Fang - Physical, Dark-type, 20 BP, Contact & Slicing move, hits 3 times, each hit can miss, but power rises (20->40->60). [[Dark-type Triple Axel clone]]
Crushing Eagle
- Physical, Fighting-type, 70 BP, Contact & Slicing move, hits Flying-types super effectively [[Fighting-type Freeze-Dry clone]]
Stats: 70/120/65/45/85/125 (510)
Competitive Reasoning: He's Weavile but part-Fighting-type. Meant to keep other Dark-types in check with the double resist + Justified.
Flavor Reasoning: Dark/Fighting type because he's a vigilante, a hoodlum like Scrafty and uses swords and axes in combat. Low SpA because he doesn't use magic at all. Justified because of his actions as a vigilante.

" A god must eliminate all who oppose their struggle for faith, one by one."

Mountain of Faith |
|
| PP: 1 | BP: 180 | Requires Kanakium Z and Bleakwind Storm | Wind, Bullet | Hits supereffectively if the target is weak to Water.
Reasoning:
  • goddess of wind and rain so water and flying
  • anger point for short temper
  • runs her shrine like a business and does whatever to increase faith, hence opportunist
  • mountain of faith is the game she mostly appears in and is also one of her spell cards
Competitive Reasoning: dedicated defogger. opportunist seems pretty fun to play with

"Pay more respect to the earth.
Otherwise, who knows? You might even get cursed. Heh heh."
Franchise/Origin: Touhou

Moriya's Iron Ring |
|
| PP: 1 | BP: 180 | Requires Suwakium Z and Headlong Rush | Bullet | Hits supereffectively if the target is weak to Steel.
Reasoning:
  • goddess of earth and fights with iron rings / fine steel weapons
  • defiant because she fought the yamato gods when they invaded her kingdom
  • water absorb for her affinity with frogs
  • moriya's iron ring is one of her spell cards
  • she can swim through the ground and summon magma/geysers hence lava plume and scald
Competitive Reasoning: offensive rocker, ground does pretty well against the meta right now

"The human body houses a fragile, round soul. What those humans live on is a huge, round orb below. And, what the superior people live on... is that lunatic orb behind me."
Franchise/Origin: Touhou

Ability: Clear Body / Regenerator
Stats: 115 / 65 / 80 / 145 / 80 / 45 | 530 BST

Tree-Ocean of Hourai |
|
| PP: 1 | BP: 180 | Requires Kaguyium Z and Giga Drain | Bullet | Heals 75% of the damage dealt.
Reasoning:
  • legend came from kaguya and the bamboo cutter, fairy for some of its associations with the moon
  • clear body for her rejection of change and regen for her ability to selfheal
  • ep comes from her spell card buddhist diamond and lava plume comes from salamander shield
Competitive Reasoning: otr mon or general regen wallbreaker.

Pokémon: Luigi
Franchise/Origin: Luigi’s Mansion
Intended Tier: OU, maybe UU
Type: Normal/Ghost
Ability: Rattled/Opportunist/Wimp Out (HA)
Notable moves:
Physical: Endeavor, Facade, Fake Out, Frustration, Quick Attack, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Spirit Shackle,
Special: Strobe Light, Hyper Voice, Shadow Ball, Hex, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Hurricane, Vacuum Wave, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam
Status: Substitute, Curse, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Rest, Sleep Talk, Taunt

Signature move: Strobe Light | 100 dg | 90 acc | 10 pp | Special | Normal | Deals super effective damage to Ghost types. 20% chance to flinch.
Z-Move: Negative Zone | 180 dg | 100 acc | 1 pp | Special | Normal | Puts opponent to sleep.
Stats: 67/79/73/89/83/137

Reasoning: Luigi is possibly the most recognizable duos character, as he was meant as a partner of Mario.
Normal because he is just a dude, and ghost due to his connection to ghosts in his games. Abilities all reference his fearful nature. Stats make him a fast, frail, special attacker, similar to how he is quick to help… or quick to run away. Stats are also prime numbers (like the ultra beasts) to show his paranormal line of work. Attacks all reference the abilities of the poltergust. Now has Z Move smash reference.

"My name is Dahlia Hawthorne. I'm a junior in Literature at Ivy University. I just want to say... It's an honor for me to be here in your noble presence."

Pokémon: Dahlia Hawthorne
Franchise/Origin: Ace Attorney
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Fairy/Poison
Ability: Opportunist, Poison Touch, Corrosion
Notable moves:

Physical:
Cross Poison, Play Rough, Poison Jab, Mortal Spin, False Surrender, Spirit Break, Noxious Torque, Lash Out, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Poltergeist, Shadow Sneak

Special: Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Venoshock, Burning Jealousy, Dark Pulse, Bitter Malice, Bug Buzz, Shadow Ball

Status: Toxic, Nasty Plot, Parting Shot, Taunt, Memento, Venom Drench

Stats: 80/110/65/120/70/100 (BST 545)

Reasoning: Fairy represents the woman she pretends to be, while Poison represents the woman she actually is. The moves also reflect this. The Ghost type moves are for the fact that the final showdown with her happens after she's been executed for her murders, via spirit channeling shenanigans.. She works for this slate because she has a (much-nicer) Twin Sister.

Edit: somehow I forgot to copy her stat line but it’s there now.

"Twisted, half-human monstrosities stalk the flesh-ridden halls, protecting their gestating god."
Franchise/Origin: Darkest Dungeon
Intended Tier: OU
Type:

Ability: Poison Touch / Keen Eye
Stats: 125/125/80/65/80/85
Body Press, Body Slam, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Crunch, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Fell Stinger, Glare, Heavy Slam, Mean Look, Poison Jab, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Pursuit, Scary Face, Sucker Punch, Superpower, Swords Dance, Toxic, Vice Grip
Height: 2.8m
Weight: 220kg
Role: Bulky, physical Dark that can set up on and threaten Fairies. Good for breaking switch-ins like Gavial long-term with Poison Touch.
Justification:
  • Poison-typing: Excels at spreading blight, Darkest Dungeon's equivalent of poison.
  • Glare, Keen Eye, Mean Look: Features an attack called Revelation (pictured here), where it opens a giant eye located under its torso, dealing hefty damage and stress if the target isn't holding a particular item.
  • Bonus Slate Theme: The dungeon in which the Templar Impaler is found features a similar enemy called the Templar Warlord (pictured here). The dungeon culminates in an encounter against both at once.

"HIGH TEMPERATURE RADIATING FROM FLY BEAST."
Origin: Don't Starve
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Bug/Dragon
Ability: Flame Body / Multiscale / Pyromancer (HA)
Pyromancer - Fire-type Steelworker clone.
Stats: 82/124/94/108/72/90 (570)
Physical: Fury Swipes, Scorch Slam, Breaking Swipe, Dragon Claw, Dragon Tail, Fire Punch, Attack Order, Spit Up, Fury Cutter, Skitter Smack, Heat Crash, Flare Blitz, Dual Chop, Scale Shot, Outrage, Frustration, Pursuit, Fly, Heavy Slam, Body Slam, Retaliate
Special: Flamethrower, Struggle Bug, Bug Buzz, Fiery Dance, Incinerate, Inferno, Lava Plume, Overheat, Fire Blast, Dragon Pulse, Twister
Status: Stockpile, Slack Off, Dragon Dance, Tailwind, Mean Look
Signature Move: Scorch Slam - Dragon - Physical - Contact - BP: 30 - PP: 10 - 100% acc - Hits thrice in a row. Each hit has a 20% chance to inflict burn.
Reasoning:
  • Typing is self-explanatory.
  • When enraged Dragonfly will change to a fiery form, incinerating everything in her path, which explains the Flame Body ability. Her affinity to fire is also the reason for having Pyromancer.
  • Spit up and lava plume come from Dragonfly's habit of spitting lava on nearby objects. Stockpile is based on how dragon's are usually depicted hoarding riches, which is referenced in Together through her new drops. Finally, attack order references how Dragonfly will spawn lavae minions to aid in battle.
