We all know Pokemon is running out of gimmicks to include in their new Gens. Gen 6 had megas, gen 7 had z moves, gen 8 had megas+z moves. We all know the only mechanic left to fuck around with is Abilities. That is why we are pre-emptively throwing around ideas for Gamefreak's new gimmick, Ultra Abilities, vamped abilities that can be given to any one mon on a team. Just hold this Ultra Shroom on your Pokemon to unlock the hidden potential of your Pokemon's abilities.

Here are some of the good one we've come up with so far:

"Run Away now lets your escape trainer battles, causing a draw"
"Not only will Arena Trap prevent switching, it also deals residual damage every turn"
"Shadow Tag, every time someone leaves through shed shell/u turn/ghost typing, they take a ghost-type pursuit"
"Sturdy lets you live at 1 hp regardless of if you're at full or not"
"Honey Gather summons an ally to the battle, creating a 2 on 1 situation"
"Illuminate drops the accuracy of all attacks against the user"
"Regenerator now heals 1/3 HP every turn"
"Lightning Rod draws attacks even when the mon is withdrawn"

Would love to hear any suggestions y'all might have for this completely balanced and fair game mechanic.
