I first made this team starting out that i knew i wanted toxic spikes up so i could stall out rain dance sun teams, thats when i picked tentacruel. Then i figured if i had toxic spikes up i might as well go with a solid defensive core, thats how i picked skarmbliss. After that i knew that i needed a scarfer because i feel almost every team needs a good scarfed pokemon, thats when i chose garchomp. after that i chose terakion because i wanted a good physical sweeper. Then i picked roobushin so i could clean up kills late game and whatever else it needs to do.

Team

Calm 252HP/120def/136spD
Leftovers/Liquid Ooze

Toxic Spikes
Surf
Sludge Bomb
Rapid Spin

I picked tentacruel so i could have a reliable toxic spikes setter. This is just a standard smogon set. it is also a viable special wall later in the game if it survives. rapid spin can take away entry hazards which can really cripple my team if theres a lot of layers up. Other than those roles tentacruel is pretty disposable on this team once he has done his job and got toxic spikes up. im kind of reluctant to keep tentacruel on my team because im not completely sure i need toxic spikes, i think someone might be better here instead of tenta.

Jolly 4HP/252Atk/252Spe
Choice Scarf/Sand Veil

Outrage
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Fire Fang

Let me just start by saying i love choice scarf chomp. It is my favorite set on chomp by far. this thing can rip through so many pokemon with ease. I chose fire fang over dragon claw because i needed a move to take out dory with balloon because chomp can take an unboosted earthquake from dory. earthquake and outrage are obvious choices to finish off chomp's dual stab. Stone edge can take out the likes of skymin and gyarados if its needed. garchomp works well with terakion when skarmory is gone to help take earthquake hits.

Bold 252HP/252Def/4spD
Leftovers/Natural Cure

Wish
Protect
Flamethrower
Seismic Toss

Ah yes, good old blissey. this pink blob never seems to lose its niche in the ou tier even in the new generation. this thing can annoy the crap out of just about anyone. Thanks to its stalling abilities it can help out with the toxic spikes. it obviously has great synergy with skarmory because of the skarmbliss combo. basically all i do with this is sponge all the special attack hits to stall people out with toxic spikes. this thing has gotten me plenty of rage quits too :P

Impish 252HP/64Atk/176Def/16Spe
Leftovers/Sturdy

Skarmory finishes off the skarmbliss duo. Skarmory can help stall out teams with the toxic spikes up alongside blissey. This duo can be a pain in the *** to deal with and i think everyone knows that. Sturdy acts like a built in focus sash which is much better than its other abilities. i love skarmory, he is one of my favorite pokemon of all time. I love him in the game and in competitive battling. He can find a spot in almost any team in my opinion. He can find a spot on just about any team is because everybody can use entry hazards. Wether its spikes or stealth rocks he will almost always set them up. Oh, and did i mention hes one of the best physical walls in the game?

Life Orb/Justice Heart

Swords Dance
Close Combat
Stone Edge
rock polish

Terakion is my set-up sweeper of the team. I dont usually go with swords dance sweepers other than scizor so i might need some help here. After all this guys counters are gone it can take out plenty of teams. I am really not good at using him at all so please give me some suggestions for him.i just feel like i get outsped everytime i get a swords dance up and my sweep stopped. im just not sure if this set on terakion is as good as i thought it might be. if you guys have any suggestions for a better set-up sweeper that would fit on my team please help. i just added rock polish to this set so i can decide wether i need a +2 atk or +2 speed depending on the situation.

Adamant 120HP/252Atk/136spD
Choice Band/Guts

Mach Punch
Drain Punch
Stone Edge
bulk up

This guy right here is super bulky and can take a hit from just about anything. It's huge attack stat makes it a good candidate for a bulk up set. It can take out pokemon like dory and can be an effective late game sweeper. i think this is one of the best new pokemon of the new gen. mach punch is a very useful priority move and drain punch can ohko plenty of pokemon with the bulk up. payback is for the ghost types that would wall this set otherwise. Anyways i love this guy and he could be used on just about anyteam because he is one of the best priority users, maybe better than scizor?

Thanks for reading and all suggestions are very appreciated

overall seems like you have some solid theory behind the team. i think toxic spikes is an excellent anti-rain strat (barring an opposing qwilfish (lol)), and even serves some use against sand. you may want to experiment with a different lead though, for example skarmory, putting tentacruel in the wings. further, as terakion has phenomenal dual STABs (stoneedge and closecombat), you should remove earthquake and replace it with rock polish, which will effectively allow you to obtain a +2 in whichever stat is more important - speed against offense and attack against stall.

further, i question if a CB on roob is critical. i find myself much more threatened by the bulk up set, which has swept me on several occasions (time to get a skymin -_-). give it a try (drop stone edge; terakion covers you there).

alright thanks a lot
im gonna make the switches with tentacruel and skarmory as leads and add rock polish.

im gonna try the bulk up set :D

thanks a lot
