Get Sweeped or GTFO - My First Team UPDATED

Eyo Mates, I'm DaPro4Head and this is my first team I'm posting on here, I've played a lot of mathces with this team and think this could be the final version since I've rarely have had a battle with this team resulting in less than 6-1.

This team relies a lot on weaknesses and starting the match in the right way, choosing the right lead.

To really know this team, you gotta try it for yourself and counter all pokémons and predict what the other trainer is going to do. This may seem hard at times, but if you picked the right lead, you'll most likely win.

I've done a few edits to this team now but if you want to use the old version, you can always find them in the codeboxes. You can find all versions at the bottom of the page.

I'e replaced The Hazard by Postcard (suggested by SchuifDeur).

Postcard (Skarmory) (F) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Defog
- Roost
- Whirlwind
This is a very good option to use instead of Ferrothorn, it doesn't have the 4x Fire damage, which can be viable at times, and you can use this guy as a wall since it has a very good defence. I use it after fainting the other team's Hazardmon and I'm always be able to get a defog since this guy has sturdy. With the custap berry you can get a final brave bird to surprise your opponent.

Code:
That's the intro, prepare for my most chosen lead, the Hazard.

The Hazard (Ferrothorn) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave

This is the hazard, I usually lead out with this guy beacause he needs to put on the stealth rock ASAP, then I usually use spikes and sacrifice this guy, Because his use is gone, unless the opponent has a kanga-mega since the kanga will suffer by the iron barbs and rocky helmet + the seeds will heal you and you resist most of kanga's moves.

Going onto my MEGA: Char-X

mega_charizard_x___pokemon_wallpaper_by_mylafox-d6phmfr.jpg

Char-X (Charizard) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Flare Blitz

This Bad Boy right here has swept a lot of teams, two Dragon dances and this guy will oblitterate anything. The earthquake does not take advantage of the tough claws ability, but still owns the most fairies. the dragon claw will own anything else if not everything, and the flare blitz is to easily take down foes when you're not dancing yet.

Next up is the most Evol you've ever seen.

Evol (Gengar) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Thunderbolt

This guy is known as the ghost of clefairy or the bad side in people (like the bad side of clefairy). with his focus blast he detroys TTars daily, he uses his shadow to finish Alakazam, and the sludge bomb is really good on fairies. then finally the TBolt fights off annoying flying/water types. this guy is a real bad-ass.

Then we have one of the best poke's on this team: PaperNinja

tumblr_mv5un0Jr4g1s5ntp2o1_1280.jpg

Greninja @ Life Orb
Hasty Nature
252SAtk/252Spe/6Atk
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

This pokemon can change types, just like a ninja, it takes advantage of the opponent's weakness. It's so fast it even outspeeds Alakazam. this guy really is a very reliable pokemon if the match seems to be going in the wrong direction. It has an assault vest cause it could really use the extra Sp Def and I'm not wasting any EV's on it.

Next-up is BlockYourShit
1914949-242blissey.png

BlockYourShit (Blissey) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Flamethrower

This stalls really well and blocks pokemon like ferrothorn, you can put a toxic on pokemon, fix your team, and stall with this pokemon, this really is a good wall if you know when to use it. but never put it against a pokemon with any physical moves because you'll be destroyed in no-time.

Last, but not at all least, is the pokemon who LostHisWarrior
aegislash_by_laspliten-d6rdwmx.jpg

LostHisWarrior (Aegislash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak
- Swords Dance

This pokemon is now so well known, that you should never do the obvious, which is attack, shield, attack, shield, ...
Most people are surprized when I sword dance 2x in a row, they will try to setup when you shield. this pokemon can take on most other poke's, but never use him against talonflame, cauuse it's a plain sacrifice.

This is the first team I've ever made, so it'l probably be filled with thngs that could be better, but I haven't lost more than 1/20 battles with this team.

Thank you for reading all this and please help me improve this team.

I am very curious how do you handle the apparent SR weakness with Charizard and Greninja holding a sash? other then that I really like this team

Well, when i see someone who has an SR pokemon, i directly switch out to my charizard, and I've replaced the sash with an assualt shield.

I like the look of the team, there's just one problem with Greninja. I don't know why you're using scald or extrasensory, or why it has assault vest with 72 HP/ 67 Def/ 71 SDef defenses and no ev investment.

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- U-turn
- Ice Beam

This set abuses Greninjas ability as it hits pretty hard after protean and life orb boost. Hope I helped.

You shouldn't declare which megacharizard you're using. Part of the reason charizard is amazin is the unpredictability it has. So its a good idea to change the nickname. Also if your hazardsetter has spikes then rapid spin>defog so maybe excadrill could be used instead. Moldbreaker earthquake is pretty cool too as it can give rotom problems. It could even be a 2nd hazardsetter with sr allowing ferrothorn to run an attack like gyro ball and not be total taunt bait. Assault vest is useless on paperninja, replace it with life orb. Thats all

Just a small comment; I highly recommend changing your Greninja set to the one Robqq posted, except with HP Fire over Dark Pulse, since U-turn and Dark Pulse hit mostly the same targets, and HP Fire gives you great coverage coupled with an Ice, water and bug moves. Also, I would use Surf over Hydro Pump, since Greninja should be acting a a revenge killer. You don't want to miss that crucial attack and end up KOed!

Greninja @ Life Orb
Hasty Nature
252Sp.A/252Spe/6Attack
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

Is what I'll go for ( and my existing greninja set ) because special defense is practically useless on a glass cannon

I would run Dazzling Gleam on the Gengar to take out Haxorus, Chesnaught and Excadrill, with their Abilities being able to OHKO that Gengar and bulk evety move taken by it; forcing a switch. Gives them time to set up, especially DD Haxorus. Other than that, Great team! SkarmBliss is being quite well here.

You can run LO on the Greninja instead of Assault Vest. I would also suggest getting rid of Extrasensory for Spikes as it revokes an electric weakness. The hasty + U-Turn set is always an option, as well. It just retains momentum.
