Giratina-O slithers out of the underworld to devastate teams! Serving as a strong mid-game wallbreaker, this set can blast through metagame staples such as Kyogre, Necrozma-DM, and Groudon. Defog allows Giratina-O to take advantage of its Ground immunity to be a great entry hazard remover, checking Stealth Rock Groudon exceptionally well. Will-O-Wisp is an alternative to cripple physical attackers that try to stay in or switch in such as Yveltal, Zygarde, and Ferrothorn. 76 Speed EVs allow Giratina-O to outspeed uninvested Yveltal and threaten to 2HKO it with Stone Edge. Shadow Sneak is a good tool to revenge kill Calyrex-S and pick off weakened foes. 176 HP EVs let it survive Choice Specs Kyogre's Ice Beam after switching into Stealth Rock. Special wallbreakers such as Xerneas, Meteor Beam Eternatus, and Kyogre are good teammates that can help against physically bulky foes that Giratina-O can't deal with such as Groudon, Buzzwole, and Zygarde-C. Xerneas is a particularly good teammate, as it can soak up Dragon-type moves thrown Giratina-O's way. Calyrex-S appreciates Giratina-O being able to 2HKO Yveltal with Stone Edge and, in return, can provide cleric support.
