Gliscor [QC: 0/3]

I really REALLY don't like Fling+Acrobatics. Why get a one time shot at poisoning something when I could just use Toxic? Simply getting the boost to Acrobatics is not worth it at all. In fact, offensive Gliscor is so outclassed by Landorus-T that it's probably not worth putting an offensive set at all. No, the set order (and names) should be changed to this:

SubToxic
########
Name: SubStoxic
Move 1: Substitute
Move 2: Toxic
Move 3: Protect / Roost
Move 4: Earthquake / Knock Off
Ability: Poison Heal
Item: Toxic Orb
EVs: 244 HP / 40 Def / 224 Spd
Nature: Impish

Defensive
########
Name: Defensive
Move 1: Roost
Move 2: Taunt / Toxic
Move 3: Knock Off
Move 4: Earthquake
Ability: Poison Heal
Item: Toxic Orb
EVs: 244 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spd
Nature: Impish

SubPass
########
Name: SubPass
Move 1: Substitute
Move 2: Agility / Swords Dance
Move 3: Baton Pass
Move 4: Earthquake
Ability: Poison Heal
Item: Toxic Orb
EVs: 244 HP / 40 Def / 224 Spd
Nature: Impish

Aren't the first two very similar though? I merged them together. I'm going to keep the Stealth Rocks set for additional utility, but I notice that you've written Gliscor's analysis last gen so I respect your advice.

They play differently. The first one is a faster Toxic staller. You Toxic an opponent and then go between sub and Protect to stall them out. The second set is more inclined to a defensive role. It's meant to sponge hits and take advantage of the insane healing Gliscor has with Roost + Poison Heal. I would probably be more cautious of switching in the SubToxic set on something like Terrakion, but I wouldn't have any trouble switching in the Defensive set.

Oooooooh, I see now. I'll get on it.

Halcyon, I added the Defensive set. If you don't mind, can you look at the sets (and the others too) when you have spare time?

I'm sorry man, but this analysis is going to be reassigned.

A lot of this analysis is simply flawed in information, has poor team options, mediocre usage tips, and the grammar side of things is not up to snuff. It will be too much of a hassle to fix and improve upon this. Here are some examples I have picked up just glancing through this:

"Ironically, Rotom-Wash can be a godsend when dealing with the likes of Rotom-Wash, who laughs at everything Gliscor can do"

Rotom-W doesn't deal with itself. Also, Gliscor is very well capable of actually overcoming Rotom-W if you Toxic it on the switch.

"Sableye's Prankster WoW can effectively double Gliscor's defense, as it is not heavily invested in this set"

No it doesn't... This isn't how things work.

"A defensive pokemon, like acid armor Goodra can help boost defense sky high"

Acid Armor Goodra? Acid Armor Goodra... why... What does this even have to do with anything?

"Terrakion and Lucario are especially viable because they are 4x resistant to Ice."

Terrakion is not even resistant to Ice. Lucario only 2x resists it. What have you been playing?

"A specially-defensive Pokemon, like Goodra can make a great defensive core. Like wise, Togekiss has access to Thunder Wave."

Why exactly does Goodra make a great defensive core with Gliscor? Why does it matter that Togekiss has Thunder Wave?

"Pretty much any specially oriented fire-type or fighting-type, like Choice Specs Infernape that can hit steel types that laugh at Gliscor"

Of all things, you mention the irrelevant Choice Specs Infernape.

Sorry man, you tried, but it's just a lost cause.

Wow, ok....I spent a day thinking about this but I guess I'm just not cut out for this...good luck on finding someone! Hopefully I do better on Sableye
