Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 244 HP / 220 Def / 44 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Protect
- Toxic Spikes
With excellent bulk and solid utility, Gliscor makes a ground-shaking impact in Ubers! Poison Heal grants Gliscor passive recovery and status immunity through Toxic Orb, allowing it to stay in on Pokemon such as Skeledirge and Ting-Lu. Protect lets Gliscor regain health while also scouting moves. With Gliscor’s great bulk, it can tank hits from heavy hitters like Zacian-C and Koraidon and retaliate with Earthquake. Knock Off cripples Heavy-Duty Boots users like Ho-Oh, as well as opposing Gliscor if Toxic Orb has not been activated. Toxic Spikes helps accumulate residual damage against common foes without Heavy-Duty Boots like Arceus-Fairy and Kyogre. With common Water-types like Kyogre and Arceus-Water, Gliscor appreciates switch-ins to them like Eternatus and Clodsire to come in on incoming Water-type attacks. A spike setter like Ting-Lu is greatly appreciated, as it further helps make progress in matches with the combination of Spikes and Toxic Spikes while also being able to come in on threats like Miraidon. Arceus-Water also pairs well with Gliscor, as it’s able to resist and stop setup progress from threats like Necrozma-DM with Will-O-Wisp.
