going back to school

School wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for all the repetitive useless 'work.' Socializing is nice though. Better than spending 14 hours a day reading fanfiction anyway. Homeworks gonna bitchish though. Stupid I.B program. Side note, anyone know what the I.B program is?

I've started the second semester of year 10 (not having summer holidays till December, being Aussie) and its been pretty easy. My GPA is above 4 like it has been every semester of my schooling life (lowest I've ever had in my life is 4.22, highest being 4.78) although next year I'll have to step up my game if I want to do well and get a good UAI (what we have over here as our University scores).

EDIT: Apparently in New York at least, the highest possible GPA is 4. Thanks Discord :), must be different here.

Going into freshman year of high school, I'm all freaked out. I'm going to some fancy private school and shit, there's gonna be all these preppy kids. All my friends are going to the regular high school, so I won't get to see them this year (in school).

I'm starting my Junior year on September 4th. I don't really like going to school since I'm not really a "social person" infact my social skills pretty much suck. Also Junior year I need to take the the HSPA (High School Proficiency Assessment) It's a pretty big exam and it determines If I'll get my diploma senior year, Luckly I can take in again senior year in I fail. The good thing about being a Junior from a Freshman / Sophomore is that I actually know my way around the school. I still didn't know where the 3rd floor boy's bathroom was when I started my Sophmore year. Lol...

I started my junior last friday. I have fairly cool kids/friends in my classes/lunch. Oddly enough, however, we have homecoming next saturday, which makes it only about 2 weeks after school started. Weird, but fun!

I'm in IB.

I think therefore, I B.

Yeah, this school in my area has an IB Pogram. A few people I knew in Middle School went there... It stands for International... Uhh, and some word that starts with B I can't spell.

I'm going into Grade 10 / Second year of High School... My first class of the day is a Grade 11 course for computer programming (Or something to do with computers) I don't know anybody in Grade 11. I'm pretty nervous to go back, since my last semester last year wasn't so good... *sigh* Hopefully this'll be better and I'll make some more friends, and breeze through my classes. ):

Im starting grade 11 on tuesday. i really just breezed through grade 10, I let my average drop to 72%(B-). Im going to have to try harder this year, I hear its a big jump from grade 10 to 11.

Im probably mostly looking forward to playing football again. I was the mvp linesman last year =P.

it's like bacclaureate or something iono how to spell it but we don't have it here anyway

anyway after being like 15 on the internet for about 3 years im going into junior year of high school xd (well i just started last tuesday) ;/ nothing special about it i guess

I'm really looking forward to school, I didn't have a bad summer but I've never really had problems with facultyand I just talk in class with my friends or make fun (in good nature) of my teachers so being there really isn't bad.

As for school work I managed to do almost nothing last year and were grades remained pretty good. HOwever I only managed to do it because all my teachers really liked me, because i actually care about english and history and stuff(ne teacher upped my report card average someything like 20 points). Honestly I'm hoping to just get my work done this year though.

Friday is the day we return to the salt mines here, but fortunately it's just an orientation day and we have the weekend to recover from getting our lockers.

I just started my Sophomore year of High School last week, the first semester kinda sucks cause I'm on block scheduling and have four core classes, but second semester I only have one core class so it's gonna be extremely easy. =]

I go back in 2 days DX

This one kid was being an asshole last year to me, just for playing pokemon and having a deep voice or whatever (what the hell? He has no life lol) He's pretty weak though, physically (we're evenly matched seriously), maybe I can get revenge on him by punching him as hard as I can in the face when he least expects it:naughty:

But damn, I hate homework so much. but I don't get a friggin block class this year. Which may meen less projects for me. Seriously we had about 8 of them last year. And they were frickin huge/hard projects.

I'm probably one of the youngest ones here, I'm going into 8th grade

are gap years a 'normal' thing for americans? most of my friends went travelling or worked after they finished sixth form and are just starting uni this year. i kinda regret it, i would have loved to do a ski season in the alps like my younger buddies are this year :(

also lol

I'm taking a gap year, but I'm pretty sure it's not the "normal" route for Americans. Most of my friends have already gone off to college.

I'm pretty excited about it though, I'll be traveling to South Africa in October and then early next year I'm going to try to visit South America and Europe.

I go back to school tomorrow, I guess I'm the boss now im in year 11 lol, looking forward to seeing some mates but i know i'm going to be fucked over by French, History, Economics and English
