the set needs 84 speed evs to hit 237.

tbh I'd argue that the specially defensive set (which should be on here) doesn't need the speed, it has no business taking on Pangoro anyways

both sets can run 88 speed to outspeed standard Cresselia and hit it with Toxic but that's both speed creep and really minor so it should get a possible OO mention at best

you cant mention 88 speed in an analysis lol or cress can just hit 239 and you get in a hot mess. 237 is fine for phd golbat. spd should still run it too imo.

But hitting it with Brave Bird could be very useful

edit: also it doesnt matter if cress outspeeds it anyway, all golbat needs to do is toxic then switch out, unless it's mono fairy attacking (which most CM sets are) in which case toxic + roost beats it

Jolly gives you better results

The point of all this is, SpD golbat definitely likes outspeeding Pangoro, as it can switch in once solidly (more times if you can predict fight/psn coverage used). This isn't that much of a stretch anyhow, since it already likes outspeeding Modest exploud, which is 1 point beneath Jolly Pangoro.

Speed Creep shouldn't ever be in an analysis, ever, don't make the mistake of thinking it's OO material to outspeed standard cress. The reader can do that if they want, i personally won't tbh.
