Goldfish (XY OU Full Stall ft. CroCune) - a 580 RMT

Baton pass with roar weakness policy mew pretty much just destroys this team
?_? How often do you see this in OU? Baton Pass with Roar Weakness Policy Mew? Also if this was to happen I'm pretty sure he has Skarmory to Whirlwind the Pokemon or Quagisire, who he is now trying with Haze to get rid of the stat changes.

I know this doesn't serve much content update but I took some time to make some crappy art for this:
goldfish_rmt_by_oiawesome99-d7f24hx.png

terrible y/n

also Skarm will be added to the OP once I got enough time to get it

Sorry for the double post mods but this serves a purpose of a huge general update and I felt this deserved a new post.

So anyways, I updated the OP with a little mini guide on OU stall in order to show you guys what XY OU stall is (at least from my perspective) so you guys can better understand the process behind this team better.

I also added Skarmory to the Original post as well, so yeah, Skarmory is an official member of goldfish

Calm down bro it's just a Pokemon team. A solid team yes, but nothing more than standard stall. The only thing out of the ordinary here is the sheer amount of time you've spent making this RMT look you're using it to run for office. You probably spent more time on this RMT than you actually did on the team.

Anyhow try Wish / Softboild / Heal Bell / Stealth Rocks on Chansey. Wish + Protect is fine, except when your opponent runs Tyranitar or you are somehow burned / poisoned. Wish + Protect is very inefficient against certain things and leaves you vulnerable to your opponent's next move. For example they could set up a sweeper like Sub Megados, or get some layers of Spikes. Wish + Softboild allows you to heal Chansey, or heal the team depending on which is better. It also gives you an edge in long term stall wars due to 32 PP of healing instead of only 16. Also run Stealth Rocks. It is the best move in the game and running rocks gives you added chip damage. It also forces your opponent to limit their switches and waste a turn switching in, and a turn using Defog or Rapid Spin. Rocks are incredibly efficient even in a Defog metagame. Not running rocks is foolish.

Lastly for the love of god this RMT is actually more over the top and arrogant as "Kevin Garret stall" from way back. Learn some modesty bro.

Kevin Garret is my idol V_V

Anyways, why the hell would I stay in on submegados anyways, go to cune imo. Anyways I'll try those sets.

Also, please don't tell me to calm down, I just think an RMT should explain the thinking process behind the creator, this helps to reduce more bad rates, etc. Also I don't see how this is arrogant, I just post a lot about my mons because I have a lot to say, freedom of speech. Also who the fuck cares about what I spent more time on, teams should take ~20 mins TOPS, while writing like 6 paragraphs + fluff will obv take more time, no shit Sherlock. I don't think my teams or posts in OU are good at all, I have been told I am a shitty poster in OU multiple times, private and sometimes public, at the end of the day I just wanted to make the reader fucking glad they read the rmt, so if you really have a problem with it, please try to be constructive with your criticism at the very least. This is a retired stall team, I didn't say this was "OOH SO CREATIVE REINVENT THE METAGAME" because it isn't, it's a stall team based around crocune. I wrote the little section on OU stall because it helps the reader understand OU stall because the only OU stall article is under construction (recently token by me, thank you very much) and 60% of OU players p much only play offense, and 70% hate stall, so I just wanted to do that. Thanks for the overlapping chansey set someone posted as the first rate. I don't really give a fuck if people think my RMT is arrogant or over the top, it's still going to be that way, and who cares if that's the reason this died to the 3rd page, if it dies, fine, it deserved to die, I'm just glad I spent my time on something worthwhile instead of having this petty argument with you.

Why would anyone ever say that.
It was a joke lol. Anyways I've been thinking of shifting 56 EVs from Defense to special defense on Suicune to cover up my lando weakness since I dropped Toge. Any thoughts?
245.gif
252 HP / 252 Def / 4Spe --> 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
calcs:
252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 203-239 (50.2 - 59.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Suicune: 192-227 (47.5 - 56.1%) -- 28.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
and:
+2 252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Suicune: 186-219 (46 - 54.2%) -- 4.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
still an amazing check to other physical threats

Having tested this team. Is HORRIBLY WEAK to Kyurem-B. Typical Kyurem-B with Sub 6-0s easily this team.
every 3 move kyurem-b is beat with a certain pokemon on this team as it kind of has 4mss to break stall if it packs 3 moves any var lacking bolt < skarm and cune, any variation lacking EP < tran, any variation lacking ice beam < mega venu any variation lacking outrage or dclaw (odd) < quag and chansey :/ also no offense but I doubt your testing was much worth since this team is much more suited for high level ladder and tour play than mid-low ladder, thanks for the note though.

Really nice team you got here fam.

You cover a lot of the common OU offensive threats from Pinsir to Zard X with this team and it's just a really balanced team in general.
While a lot of people look down on the double water typing, Suicune is a bitch this gen with the reintroduced sleep mechanics and
Quagsire is Quagsire. Patching up your Zard X weakness and just being a good defensive presence in general. Heatran of course takes
care of Talonflame. I do however recommend Toxic over Flash Cannon since the Fairy Pokemon you'll be hitting (Sylveon, Gardevoir, Clefable etc etc.)
aren't taking too much from Flash Cannon anyway because of their SpD. Last but not least Keldeo and Kyurem-B really does give this team some what
of a hard time like you mentioned earlier before. I'm sure you've gotten used to playing around them and the only thing I can really recommend to get
past that is:

Latias @ Life Orb
Timid Nature:
~Draco Meteor
~Psyshock
~Roost
~Hidden Power Fire (for ferro and scizor)

That over Suicune to take care of Keldeo and Kyurem-B more efficiently. You would also get another fighting/water/thunder resist. Just a recommendation however.

Once again great team, huge fan of your Adventure Melody RMT.

Hey Man sup?

Very nice team indeed!

But I can see your team has a HUGE weakness to Specs Gothitelle.

Running a set of:

Psyshock
T-Bolt
HP Ground/HP fire
Trick

Enough speed to be faster than 85 uninvested pokemon, fully invested in SpAtt and the rest in HP.

On my way up the Ladder i found a few of these and even used it for sometime.

it can Trick Cripple Suicune/Quagsire/Chansey.

And it can Kill (or take a huge chunck of HP before been phazed) the other 3 mons, retreat and then come in again to kill another one.

How would you face Gothitelle if you ran into one?

****
Just to add something, Gothitlle is often used in conjunction with "Volt/Turners" meaning some of the 2HKO will become a OHKO.

Example:

Skarm comes in against Banded Scizor, faces a U-turn, strong enough just to break your sturdy factoring leftovers, and then faces a Specs T-bolt.

Scizor and Gothitelle come out with 100% HP.

The same goes for Heatran/Megasaur, facing a Volt-Switch from Thundy and getting OHKO against HP Ground/Psyshock

Thundy and Gothitelle come out with 100% HP.
****

Anyway, hope i could help by pointing out this weakness and I am curious to know how you would Face it in battle.

See ya!

*I forgot to mention that Rocks really helps Gothitelle against your mons...

Just wondering, how exactly do you deal with Mega Medicham? I don't think you've accounted for it at all to be completely honest.

252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 674-794 (174.6 - 205.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 201-237 (60.1 - 70.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 231-273 (57.1 - 67.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 283-334 (71.8 - 84.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Venusaur: 366-432 (100.5 - 118.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 936-1104 (132.9 - 156.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The standard Mega Medicham set OHKO's or 2HKO's everything on your team. The only way I can possibly see you beating Mega Medicham is if HJK misses or you get a scald burn. I would suggest replacing something with Aegislash, as that stops almost all Mega Medicham sets cold and makes him less likely to go for HJK. You know the team better than I do, so you know what's expendable and what's not.

I hate to tell you bro but suicune is what holds your team back. Its the same thing phaenon and I noticed on "phaeded". The reality is suicune was great at the start of the gen but not so much anymore with incredibly powerful physical sweepers, unaware clefables, haze quagsires, trick pokemon like goth rising, etc etc
