Good rap tracks?

2pac and Outlawz - U Can Be Touched is my favorite rap track. Tupac in general has some quite awesome tracks and most are actually very intellectual.

Also I find it ironic that one guy managed to pull of 5 succesful aliases. (Madlib, Jaylib, Quasimoto, MF Doom and Danger Doom, respectively). I like MF Doom and Madlib the most.

Nujabes in general is fucking great

Here are a few songs to get you started: feather, think different, and eclipse.

Nujabes doesn't rap on the tracks but he produces all the beats iirc.

I'm also a fan of Atmosphere. Here are a few tracks by him: lovelife, saves the day, the woman with the tattoed hands, and clay.
 
I've had a listen to Dance With the Devil by Immortal Technique as has been recommended to me, and I must say that it has to be one of the best rap songs I've ever heard. I also like Incarcerated Scarfaces by Raekwon.

edit danger doom is also completely different. dangerdoom is dj dangermouse and mf doom.

I just listened to Dance With the Devil and it's great.

I don't know too much about great rap tracks and I'm too cheap to buy whole CDs to hear 3 or 4 good songs. What are some of the songs you guys think could compete for "best rap songs ever?"

Yeah it is great!

Hmm best rap song ever is a really hard category to judge, but I'd have to say that "NY State of Mind" - Nas, would have to be up there as one of the best.
 
Lupe Fiasco is new age and pretty lyrical, also I like Common, Lil Wayne, Little Brother(check them out), Consequence, and well thats about it.
 
Hmm, I mentioned Cage on the page before this but yeah. Hell's Winter is dope. The passion he puts into his songs is the best part for me.
 
Yeah i realised that just after i posted my last post (but i didnt edit) and I've downloaded some of their songs now to check out.

TI isn't teriibley bad.
I don't see how anyone who likes hip-hop cannot like Chamillionaire.
And ya, maybe Detox is just an urban legend lol but its said to be coming out this year so idk.
