OU Great Tusk

Great Tusk @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Ice
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Headlong Rush
- Ice Spinner
- Rapid Spin

Offering far more utility than your average tusk, Great Tusk remains a dominant presence in the OU metagame as a dynamic offensive weapon with traits few others can match. With a naturally good matchup against OU staples like Kingambit, Galarian Slowking, and Gholdengo, Great Tusk has plenty of opportunities to hit the field and threaten to set up and sweep. Headlong Rush bypasses the effects of Grassy Terrain and can obliterate grounded opponents with ease, especially in conjunction with Bulk Up. Ice Spinner threatens Flying- and Grass-types like Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Rillaboom. Rapid Spin lets it outpace even the fastest Booster Energy and Choice Scarf users after one boost, like Iron Valiant and Darkrai. Tera Ice can enhance Ice Spinner's damage enough to break through offensive Zapdos and Gliscor while removing a weakness to Ice, helping against the likes of Kyurem, Meowscarada, and Weavile. Capable of fitting on many structures, Great Tusk often works best on offensive teams that can wear down its checks, with teammates like Zamazenta and Kingambit helping break through Alomomola, Moltres, and opposing Zamazenta.
