Introduction

GSC OU Global Championship is a standard GSC OU Tournament with a goal to find the best GSC OU player of the year.
The defending champion is HSA.

Each round will consist of 2 stages. The first stage each player will be given 2 sets of pairings in which they play a first-to-2-win match (best-of-3 excluding ties) vs their opponent. After the first stage is completed and the host has determined wins, players who win both their matches go through to the next round, while players who lost twice are eliminated. The players who have won 1, lost 1, battle it out in a tiebreaker FT2W match in stage 2 to join the two-time winners in the next round; or the player wins the tournament in the case of a final. In a 3-way final, a FT2W 3-way round-robin is played, to determine the winner, and repeated if necessary.

The prize returns from the last two years: a $50 (or equivalent) amazon gift card will be given out to the winner!
The winner will also earn the right to display
in their signature.

Tie Rules

Battles ending in with no pokemon on either side, due to a Self-KO move (Explosion / Self-Destruct), result in a tie.
Battle ties do not progress either player towards winning the match.

Play against both opponents (Sets 1 & 2) first-to-2-wins (bo3 wins) and report the score you won or lost by (2-x) after completing each match.

lol you had a weird concept of "missed scheduled time". i always kept in contact with an opponent who gave me just the weekend and a little range of time to play. i work on boats and have to wake up early in the morning, i tried to start a series at 1 am my time just for the sake of playing. i couldnt , because i was tired and need rest. i always warn my opponent, i never "missed" a scheduled time and always attempt to play with an opponent that didnt want to. That said, i respect the decision that will be made, just dont call "activity".

We made an appointment on Monday for a weekend game that is normal time for both sides, but bomber didn't tell me until the day before the game day that my oppo could not appear at scheduled time. Bomber said could play on the day before the appointment. I also tried to play against him that day, but I still didn't see him. I have a busy weekend and Monday schedule, but because the game time between me and bomber has been scheduled previously, I don't think there is any problem. We were unable to play on time just because bomber missed the schedule. Under such circumstances, I proposed my evening (EDT) for the match. Although this mmay be not a very comfortable time for him, it was my only free time available for match. And he agreed. As I said to bomber on the discord, I will move house on Monday so I don’t have time to play, and it’s not my fault that caused the delay, so I will refuse the extension.
