GTS Cloning Trick

It was going all the way to 14 revolutions for me last night. I had no chance at cloning my Chimchar in nearly two hours of trying (I do not have a router that helps me and I have to rely on mostly luck).
 
Now, since you can't trade legendaries on the GTS(I think), when cloning I would say it's safest to ask for a lv 9 and under Dialga. I still can't get the cloning to work, though....I've heard someone saying they can clone without the GTS, anyone else able to do that? Probably not, since this thread is about GTS cloning....
 
I've heard there's a ban on legends that makes the "lv 9 and under Dialga" safer to use. To test it out I tried trading for legends and had no problem doing so. I think the "legend ban" is just another rumor.

It wasn't a rumor, it was a glitch. A glitch that has been fixed.

A middle-evolved level 9 and under Pokemon everybody forgets about is the safest option, besides Darkrai/Shaymin/Arceus imo. Weepinbell for instance.

Level 9 and under Dialga/Palkia are near the top of every hackers priority list.

I REPEAT. They'll never EVER get your pokemon if you ask for a Lv.9 and under Dialga/Palkia. Those aren't even tradable in the GTS. Try it. Leave a Lv.100 Shiny Dialga and ask for a Lv.9 and under Uxie or something and leave it for a week.

Was this just a recent fix? Perhaps what they meant to do instead of banning all legends from the GTS?

Because I remember some people getting angry in the past because they actually recieved a level 1 Azelf from the GTS, when all they wanted to do was to "show off" their Pokemon.

yeah usually around there, although i just know the timing now, I get it right 8/10 times, my first try took like 10 times, but after that i am good at it.
 
I just found out that a pokemon I left at the GTS had just left o_O. Put it up when the trouble with gts was happening and completely forgot about it afterwards. Fuck me, if I knew pokemon could leave I'd have taken it back in time.
 
Sory for bumping this thread, but is the cloning glitch still working on GTS? And I discovered my connection is kinda unstable, is there any safe number of rotations for me to turn off the DS and clone the pokémon?
 
I just cloned my first Poke today.
My connection is unstable too, I aways aim for at least 9.1 revolutions and it works.
When it can't make to the 9th, I just try again.

I doubt it, since you can't even see a Pokemon's summary when you're trading for it on the GTS.

What I don't get is why Nintendo made it so you can't even see offers for Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus, yet you can still see other offers you can't trade for (like level 9 and under Mew). Also, I don't see why you can't trade for legends under the correct level, but you can trade for normal Pokemon under the correct level :X

I followed your advice, and cloned a random Cresselia I got on GTS 8D
Let the Calm Prinplups clog the world!

I could even give you some Prinplup clone for free, if you want, as a "Thank You So Much!" gift.

If Dialga and Palkia can't be traded under 9 then they are best choice to clone.
Before I know that I always chose PKMN like Flaafy, Alpollo, Loudred @Lv100
They are very safe too because nobody cares about the evolutions in between xD

i dont understand yet,

are you supposed to deposit it, and wait 7 3/4 to 9.1 revolutions?

then turn off yoru ds?

or do you deposit, then take it back and do that???
 
Is everyone on the GTS cloners these days? All anyone ever asks for is level 9 and under Mews - there's hundreds of trades like this.

Looks like Ninty forgot to fix up an error.

My rotations never go past 8 and a half. It all completely depends on your Router
