It's the mixed attacking yeti listed in smogon's analysis. I'm not sure if I should keep wood hammer or give him energy ball.


Tusk (Mamoswine) (M) @ Nevermeltice
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

Stealth rock because forry only has 4 moveslots, and so much to do. NME is to power up ice shard. Mamo + weavile really works for me, it's not redundant. Having 2 ice shards has been a livesaver during some battles.


Ironhide (Forretress) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 244 HP/168 Atk/96 Def
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)

- Gyro Ball
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin

Saves the rest of my team from stealth rock. I love using toxic spikes. Hail +TS + SR + leech seed can really add up.


Cryoswipe (Weavile) (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 34 HP/252 Atk/224 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Pursuit
- Ice Shard
- Night Slash

I gave her enough speed to outrun standard weavile because I got sick of playing coin toss to see who got off that fatal brick break first.

Ability: Magnet Pull

Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

Is expert belt a suitable alternative to LO? Hail + LO means I only get 5 uses out of duggy. This may or may not be a problem, I'm not sure yet.


One thing I thought would greatly benefit this team would be add trick room. Bronzong > forry, trapinch > duggy and lower mamo's speed to 240ish.

hm... right, well, to the above poster, pming dragontamer is a bad idea. he probably has enough on his mind already. if he wanted to help the team, he'd post something.

anyways, replacing magnezone with heatran and weavile with, maybe, scarfgar might help with the weaknesses. but you do have a huge fire weak and fighting weak.
 
Heatran does help the fire weak, but I suggested a ghost to compensate for the fight weak. Spiritomb would help, and so would Dusknoir. Something more stallish I think.
 
I play more offensively, so it's obvious that I'd suggest stuff like gengar rather than dusknoir. I personally don't like stall. but then again, it's not my team we're talking about, so I don't have the final say anyways...
 
I don't think this team will do very well.

But anyway, I was thinking slowbro > forry. Resists fire and fight, good def, bulky water...

Psycho cut on weavile or duggy could deal with 'nape, but I'm not sure if either of them learn it...
 
I think the title suggests stall. That is the only reason why I said it myself. Pory-Z with Blizzard is a real beast on a hail team, but that does not help the fight weak. A Tentacruel with TS and RS would really help this team and can use Blizzard to its advantage as well.
 
I'm gonna give this an overhaul, take out the trapping part. I might add trick room, and I'll take your advice on tentacruel.

I dropped his speed down to 224, which allowed a more powerful, bulkier spread. 400 hp for lefties, and the rest in attack, which brings it to 391. Peck for heracross.

Cleffers isn't affected by hail, SR or life orb thanks to magic guard. t-bolt and flamethrower are to for type variety/coverage. If someone has a good suggestion for the last slot, I could put SR > peck on mamo.

I feel more confident in this team now. I'm gonna go test it, rtae pelase!

A nickname rate would be nice too ^_^
