I'm playing Halo 3. Just probably not much multiplayer. Smash is my multiplayer of choice =P I just never had a chance to really get into Halo multiplayer.
 
id really scratch all those games and get into h3 online.

h2 was THE best multiplayer game from when it came out untill about 3 months after gears of war came out.

you should get into it =]
 
I dunno. I might try it out. I played Halo 2 for about 3 hours so I could get into the Halo 3 Beta and didn`t have that much fun. Probably because I sucked. And then for the Halo 3 Beta, I only had fun when I played with my cousin. I didn`t play much since I got into Pokemon around that time.

The thing is I know I`m going to drop it when Brawl comes out (Smash is the game of choice around my area, including for me). And some of the games I listed are games I just HAVE to experience =P

These damn reviews really are getting me hyped to play though. Agh! I need to finish my assignment and Super Metroid tomorrow.
 
Well, I like to get to the end of the games I play and I want to play those games due to the awesome impressions I keep getting of games like Bioshock.

Anyway, I will probably be playing this twice now I think. Starting 2 player co-op with my friend tomorrow since we have a 2 hour break that we share at school. We`ll just go into the games room and put in my HDD like we did with Gears of War.
 
yea, i was a little disappointed at how short the campaign seemed. i beat it in 5 hours and the people from microsoft were saying it should take at least 20.... whatever though, we hooked up our 360 to 3 others in our dorm, where we got all the cables i dont fucking know, but it worked. and we had an amazing 16 player warzone. it was so cool.
 
yea my friend and his brother are intense about it, and they got sponsored and get free stuff, and they both came in today without any sleep

mine hasnt come in the mail yet so im waiting for it

Live is a lot of fun, but it does have some room for improvement. The campain is more challenging than the other 2 halo games which is a good thing imo. As for the plot itself, I didn't really know what was going on until I was almost done with it.

I only played one level of the game since my friend wants me to wait for him so we can play co-op, so just gonna rant:

EFF YOU 24 HOURS. 24 hours is a daily newspaper in some major Canadian cities. It's free and commuters such as myself often read it on the bus to school. In the Halo 3 review, right under the picture, there's a caption with a spoiler. What the fuck.
 
Finished the Fight earlier today. Was going through Legendary with 2 other friends and it was hard to find times to play together. Interesting although confusing as hell. For those wondering, Legendary does have an extended ending so either finish it or watch it on YouTube.

I was so confused by the story, but I finally got some of my questions answered in a thread at another forum so some of it makes sense to me now.

Spoilers kinda: Supposedly, the Legendary ending alludes to the Marathon series. Bungie might be working on remaking the Marathon games and working them into the Halo universe

Anyway, I did try out multiplayer and it's not bad. I played a bit earlier today and it was awesome. I guess since the kids were at school. Everybody was working as a team and communicating, no idiots going on about how awesome they are. Much better than how it is when I play in the evening.
 
okay, so i have decided that the flood level where you rescue cortana is nigh impossible on legendary if you are playing through the campaign by yourself. those stupid pincushion flood that climb waaay the fuck up the walls and unleash a maelstrom of festering needles while being out of range for "good" flood weapons are worse than jackal snipers.

Yes. Oh my god. We were doing 3 player co-op and that level was a bitch. Find the little tunnels and shit on the sides, use them as cover and just book it. No need to kill them all. If you get a chance, stick them with the plasma or spiked grenades.
 
At first i wasnt a fan of shotty snipers.

now i actually enjoy it.

People are bitching about that all over the place. Bungie has stated they've noticed this and will change it. They do pay attention to the types of games that people veto.

Although the employee who stated it was a bit annoyed when he gave the statement =P
