Hatterene's abysmal speed may seem like a weakness, but paired with its high special stats, it becomes a monster. Being able to tank most non-steel type moves (besides Max moves), Hatterene can set up a trick room to sweep entire teams. With an additional 30% boost to its attacks with the life orb, Hatterene is something that should not be approached carelessly. Counters include Dynamax Cinderace using iron head (Max Steelspike) or Ferrothorn, one of the few pokemon slower than it using gyro ball. Beware of physical attackers as well, as her defense isn't nearly as strong as her special defense
