Hatterene (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Psychic Noise
- Draining Kiss
- Mystical Fire / Healing Wish
- Nuzzle

Dazzling the scene, Hatterene shines in Ubers as a solid check to Koraidon and an entry hazard denier like no other! Magic Bounce excels in shutting down hazards from setters like Ribombee, Landorus-T, and Deoxys-S. Psychic Noise is preferred to crucially bypass Substitute against Koraidon and 2HKO it. Mystical Fire can be chosen to target threats such as Necrozma-DM and Calyrex-I, while Healing Wish offers a one-time rejuvenation for a weakened wall or sweeper. Finally, Nuzzle is an incredibly reliable paralysis spreader, punishing switch-ins like Ho-Oh. In conjunction with its Fairy / Psychic typing, Rocky Helmet serves as an excellent way to punish Koraidon, punishing U-turn and Close Combat while forcing heavy chip damage if Koraidon clicks Flare Blitz. Tera Water ensures Hatterene survives even a +2 Flare Blitz from Koraidon, as well as bettering matchups into the likes of Calyrex-I and Zacian-C. 60 Speed EVs let it beat paralyzed Ho-Oh, Adamant Kingambit, and Adamant Calyrex-I. Featuring prominently on bulky offense teams, Hatterene pairs well with Ho-Oh and Arceus-Water, as the two cover the physical threats that Hatterene may struggle against. Offensively, Hatterene pairs well with the ever-present Koraidon, staving off the hazards that wear it down.

I'd mention Deoxys-S here instead of Ting-Lu purely because it's seeing a lot of play right now

Nuzzle is an incredibly reliable Paralysis spreader, punishing switch-ins like Ho-Oh
If characters allow it, I'd mention that paralyzing a Support Arceus and Necrozma-DM can be crucial at times but it's a thing I'd otherwise omit

60 Speed EVs beat Paralyzed Ho-Oh, Adamant Kingambit, and Adamant Calyrex-I

staving off the hazards that cripple Koraidon.
I would not say the hazard cripple it lol but maybe I'd argue it dislikes them? just different verbage
