Overview
########

Heatmor's great attacking stats combined with an amazing movepool that includes Giga Drain, Knock Off, and Low Kick and is backed up by STAB Fire Blast, make it an effective wallbreaker in the PU metagame, as it has no safe switch-ins. It also has a useful ability, Flash Fire, allowing it to check other Fire-types, such as Flareon, and a form of priority in Sucker Punch. However, Sucker Punch does not make up for its poor Speed, so it is outsped by common Pokemon such as Tauros and Haunter, and its poor bulk and three weaknesses also mean it is easy to revenge kill, making it struggle to put in work against offensive teams. It also receives competition from other Fire-types, mainly Ninetales, for a teamslot, but unlike Ninetales, Heatmor has priority and and can get past special walls such as Lickilicky and Munchlax.

Mixed Attacker
########
name: Mixed Attacker
move 1: Fire Blast
move 2: Giga Drain
move 3: Low Kick
move 4: Sucker Punch / Knock Off
ability: Flash Fire
item: Life Orb
evs: 56 Atk / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
nature: Rash

Moves
========

Fire Blast is Heatmor's most powerful STAB move, allowing Heatmor to break through or dent Pokemon that it hits neutrally. Giga Drain provides good coverage, hitting Rock- and Water-types such as Golem, Poliwrath, and Carracosta, while Low Kick 2HKOes Lickilicky after Stealth Rock and also hits Bastiodon and Munchlax hard. Sucker Punch can be used for priority, allowing Heatmor to revenge kill or weaken faster Pokemon, and although it hits off Heatmor's weaker Attack stat, it still has the power to 2HKO Pokemon such as Raichu. Knock Off hits Grumpig while removing Sliggoo's Eviolite and crippling any switch-in by removing its item.

Set Details
========

Max Special Attack investment boosts Heatmor's power, increasing its wallbreaking potential, which is boosted even more by Life Orb and a Rash nature. 200 Speed EVs allow Heatmor to outspeed neutral-natured Rampardos and Aurorus and OHKO them before they can OHKO it. The remaining EVs go in Attack, boosting the power of Heatmor's physical moves and notably giving Low Kick the power to 2HKO Lickilicky after Stealth Rock damage. Flash Fire lets Heatmor check other Fire-types and can boost the power of Heatmor's own Fire-type STAB move.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its low bulk, Heatmor dislikes switching into strong hits and thus prefers to be brought in after a KO or by a safe pivot. However, it can be brought in on Fire-types, such as Flareon, in order to get a Flash Fire boost. Heatmor should be used early- or mid-game to weaken walls, allowing its teammates to sweep. Due to its strength and coverage, predictions are not necessarily required but can allow Heatmor to 2HKO a switch-in or cripple one with Knock Off. Sucker Punch is not very reliable, so often it is better to use something else to revenge kill an opposing Pokemon, but it is helpful in allowing Heatmor to finish off a threat it has weakened.

Team Options
========

Stealth Rock and Spikes from Pokemon such as Golem and Roselia wear down the opposing team and allow Heatmor to score KOs on certain Pokemon; for example, Stealth Rock allows Heatmor to 2HKO Pelipper and OHKO Mr. Mime with Fire Blast. Rapid Spin and Defog from Pokemon such as Avalugg and Swanna are important as Heatmor is weak to Stealth Rock and will lose a quarter of its health upon switching in when the hazard is up. Water-types, such as Prinplup and Poliwrath, can switch into Water-type moves and threaten Ground- and Rock-type Pokemon, and in return, Heatmor beats Grass-type Pokemon; Prinplup can even Defog for Heatmor. Sticky Web partially makes up for Heatmor's poor Speed, but Heatmor needs to invest more into Speed to outspeed base 105 Speed Pokemon, and without a Speed-boosting nature it will always be outsped by Tauros and Sneasel. Tangela resists Water and Ground and has enough bulk to stomach most Rock-type attacks, while beating Aqua Jet users Carracosta and Basculin. Setup sweepers, such as Regice and Carracosta, appreciate Heatmor's ability to wear down walls, giving them an easier time sweeping.

Other Options
########

Heatmor already has good coverage in its moveset and thus doesn't require many other moves to help it. Focus Blast could be used over Low Kick to 2HKO Lickilicky without Stealth Rock support and to allow Heatmor to invest more into Speed, but it has shaky accuracy. Thunder Punch allows Heatmor to OHKO Pelipper, but it is already 2HKOed by Fire Blast after Stealth Rock. Expert Belt could be used as Heatmor gets easily worn down with Life Orb recoil and entry hazards, but the item doesn't always boost its moves. Substitute can be used to block status and stop Lickilicky lacking Body Slam, but it requires Leftovers, which limit its Heatmor's wallbreaking abilities. Substitute paired with Salac Berry can allow Heatmor to sweep late-game, but it still gets outsped by common Choice Scarf users.

Checks & Counters
########
**Faster Pokemon and Priority**: Heatmor's low Speed means it can be easily revenge killed by Pokemon such as Tauros and Simipour. Its low bulk means that Pokemon that hit it for neutral damage, such as Sawsbuck and Mr. Mime, can also KO it with little prior damage required. Carracosta can OHKO Heatmor after Stealth Rock damage or two turns of Life Orb recoil with priority Aqua Jet.

**Ninetales**: Ninetales is immune to Fire, resists Giga Drain, and takes little damage from Knock Off or Low Kick while setting up Nasty Plots on Heatmor and retaliating back with Psyshock.

**Passive Damage**: Heatmor is weak to Stealth Rock and vulnerable to Spikes, limiting the number of times it can switch in. Life Orb recoil also wears Heatmor down.

This should be ready for final check.
There isnt much for c&c as it can get past pretty much any wall due to its mixed capabilities, and pretty much every priority user outspeed so i included it with faster pokemon

Is thunderpunch even worth the OO mention? Pelipper is already 2HKOed by Fire Blast after rocks, like you said, and it was slightly more relevant for mantine which is gone.

You sort of copy pasted team options over OO, as a result i stole the OO from gatos GP check. As such the OO part of my check might be a little weird, sorry about that

is checks and counters really deservedly so small? What about paralysis? anything that can wall you (Carbink?) Also, faster stuff that can easily switch into you should be singled out a bit more if it exists.

K so i wanted to talk a bit about something that annoys me, namely this

"Knock Off provides decent utility. It hits Grumpig while removing Sliggoo's Eviolite and crippling any switch-in by removing their item."

Not so bad right? Well, look at what I did down in the check

Knock Off hits Grumpig while removing Sliggoo's Eviolite and crippling any switch-in by removing their item.

I really hate fluff of this variety-the sentence reads the exact same way when it's cut out! Note that the only information really lost is that "knock off provides decent utility" but that's quite vague in any case, while what you wrote provides examples of that utility, removing eviolites and crippling switch-ins while also smashing a mon that could be said to counter you (not sure how viable it is but, that's always cool to have)

So often people get caught up in this Middle/High-school essay style where you need a lead-in, and they end up saying "X is chosen in the fourth slot" or w/e; the joy of these analyses is that your lead-in is the set itself (i can see X is in the fourth slot already), so you can just launch in without it really needing introduction. (Unless it's a moves mention)

read comments and shit

Comments:

You mention Superpower in the overview, but it's nowhere in the analysis-not even in OO! Since Low Kick seems to serve the same function and is a main move on the set, I felt it was worth putting there instead.

I assume in the overview you meant Sucker Punch when you said this?

In set details: Firstly, you use allow thrice, so i tried to break up the repetitiveness, but feel free to do that your own way. Also, the attack evs boost Knock Off too, so i felt physical moves was honestly the shortest way to say that. But, you could keep it the way it was and throw in a knock off mention.

Usage Tips: is what i put in the parantheses right? If so, take out the parantheses and question mark. If not, kinda questionable why it's mentioned at all but w/e

Team Options: Prinplup can Defog so yea. Also i said for Tangela "most Rock-type attacks" since yea most of them are physical, and it can maybe sponge a special one or two if they're defensive (which i bet they are since that's the tiers special rock attackers). That lets you cut down on a sentence. If it's important to note the mostly physical nature, feel free to keep as is.

Checks and Counters:

First off, talk about other Priority users! make sure to note heatmors sucker punch in some of these cases. At least just note taht other priority is a problem, which is something you technically have not done.

Moves
========

Fire Blast is Heatmor's most powerful STAB move, allowing Heatmor to break through or dent Pokemon that it hits neutrally. Giga Drain provides good coverage, hitting Rock- and Water-types,(rc) such as Golem, Poliwrath, and Carracosta.,(period to comma) while Low Kick 2HKOes Lickilicky after Stealth Rock,(rc) and also hits Bastiodon and Munchlax hard. Sucker Punch can be used for priority, allowing Heatmor to revenge kill or weaken faster Pokemon, and although it comes of Heatmor's weaker Attack stat, it still has the power to 2HKO Pokemon such as Raichu. Knock Off provides decent utility. It hits Grumpig while removing Sliggoo's Eviolite and crippling any switch-in by removing their item.

Set Details
========

Max Special Attack investment boosts Heatmor's power, increasing its wallbreaking potential.,(period to comma) This which is boosted even more by Life Orb and a Rash nature, maximizing its damage output. 200 Speed EVs allow allows Heatmor to outspeed and OHKO neutral Rampardos and Auroras Aurorus,(rc) which could otherwise OHKO Heatmor and OHKO them before they can OHKO it. The remaining EVs go in Attack, boosting the power of Sucker Punch and Low Kick, allowing the latter your physical moves, notably giving Low Kick the power to 2HKO Lickilicky. Flash Fire allow lets Heatmor to check other Fire-types and can boost the power of Heatmor's own Fire-type STAB move.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its low bulk, Heatmor dislikes switching in on strong hits, and thus so prefers to be bought in after a KO or by a safe pivot. However, it can be bought in on Fire-types, such as Flareon, in order to get a Flash Fire boost (and check them?). Heatmor should be used early- or mid-game to weaken walls, allowing its teammates to sweep. Due to its strength and coverage, predictions are not necessarily required, but can allow Heatmor to 2HKO a switch-in or cripple one with Knock Off. Sucker Punch is not very reliable, so often it is better to use something else to revenge kill, but it is helpful in allowing Heatmor to finish off a threat Heatmor it has weakened.

Team Options
========

Stealth Rock and Spikes,(rc) from Pokemon such as Golem and Roselia,(rc) wear down the opposing team and allow Heatmor to score KOs on certain Pokemon.;(period to semicolon) For for example, Stealth Rock allows Heatmor to 2HKO Pelipper and OHKO Mr. Mime with Fire Blast. Rapid Spin and Defog,(rc) from Pokemon such as Avalugg and Swanna, are important,(rc) as Heatmor is weak to stealth Stealth Rock and will lose a quarter of its health upon switching in. Water-types, such as Prinplup and Poliwrath, can switch into Water-type moves and threat threaten Ground- and Rock-type Pokemon, and in return, Heatmor beats Grass-type Pokemon; Prinplup can even Defog for Heatmor. Sticky Web partially makes up for Heatmor's poor Speed, but Heatmor needs to invest more into Speed to outspeed base 105 Speed Pokemon, and without a Speed-boosting nature will always be outsped by Tauros and Sneasel. Tangela resists Water and Ground and has enough bulk to stomach most Rock-type attacks, which are mainly physical. It also beats while beating Aqua Jet users Carracosta and Basculin. Setup sweepers, such as Regice and Carracosta, appreciate Heatmor's ability to wear down walls, giving them an easier time sweeping.

Other Options
########

Heatmor already has good coverage in its moveset, and thus so doesn't require many other moves to help it. Focus Blast could be used over Low Kick to 2HKO Lickiliciky LickiLicky without Stealth Rock support,(rc) and to allow allowing it Heatmor to invest more into Speed, but has a shaky accuracy. and Thunder Punch allows Heatmor to OHKO Pelipper, which but it is already 2HKOd 2HKOed after Stealth Rock. Expert Belt could be used as Heatmor gets easily warn down with Life Orb recoil and entry hazards, but doesn't always boost every one of its moves.

########
**Faster Pokemon and Prioirty Priority**: Heatmor's low Speed means it can be easily revenge killed by Pokemon such as Tauros and Simipour.

**Ninetales**: Ninetales is immune to Heatmor's Fire STAB move Fire, resists Giga Drain, and takes little damage from Knock Off or Low Kick and can set while setting up Nasty Plot's(remove apostrophe) on Heatmor and retaliate back with Psyshock.

**Passive Damage**: Heatmor is weak to Stealth Rock and vulnerable to Spikes, limiting the amount it can switch in its switch-ins. Life Orb recoil also wears Heatmor down to the point that it is easy to revenge kill.

Thanks for the help (especcially with the oo problem)! Adressing your comments, superpower was originally in the set, which i, ironically, asked the original author to change, but it would have been the same in the skeleton when i wrote it up. The physical moves in set details does make sense, I dont think there is a need to say 'and check them', as it is most importantly getting the boost, also flareon will be switching out as they are usually choice band. The part about tangela really isnt important, so its fine being missed out. Most other priority users can outspeed heatmor, and most can take a sucker punch (looking at the priority main users; sneasel and mightyena resist sucker punch, piloswine is not a check and kecleon isnt being mentioned as it will leave the tier at the end of the monoth). Lastly, paralysis doesnt really cripple it too hard, and it really has no switch bulky switch ins (carbink gets 2hko'd by giga drain).

Heatmor's great attacking stats combined with an amazing movepool that includes, consisting of (consisting of implies that there isn't anything else in the movepool) Giga Drain, Knock Off, and Low Kick and is backed up by STAB Fire Blast, (remove comma) make it an effective wallbreaker in the PU metagame, as it has no safe switch-ins. It also has a useful ability, Flash Fire, allowing it to check other Fire-types, such as Flareon, and a form of priority in Sucker Punch. However, Sucker Punch does not make up for its poor Speed, and so it is outsped by common Pokemon such as Tauros and Haunter, and its poor bulk and three weaknesses also mean it is easy to revenge kill, making it struggle to put in work against offensive teams. It also receives competition from other Fire-types, mainly Ninetales, for a teamslot, but unlike Ninetales, Heatmor has priority and and can get past special walls such as Lickilicky and Munchlax.
