1. Introduction

Hi everyone. I’m wanawa and a few days ago at 11pm I thought, why not make a sticky web Offense Team, because theres finally a good sticky web setter. I really enjoyed using Sticky Web HO with Galvantula, because of the Speed, Paralysis and the high SpA Compound Eyes Thunder Spam, sometimes becoming a great wallbreaker. Because I was tired i didnt try to put anything fancy onto the team but in the end thought it looked good.

3. Team + Description
Ribombee
Ribombee @ Focus Sash
Ability: Shield Dust
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- U-turn
- Sticky Web
- Stun Spore
Role / General Tips: Ribombee acts as a sticky web setter and often a suicide lead. Its goal is to set up sticky web, Paralyse some stuff and maybe chip with mooblast. You should avid leading it against Iron Treads and U-Turn if ur in an unfavourable matchup where ur faster.
Item: Focus Sash makes it able to almost always set up at least sticky web and can act as a Late Game Sash Rescue too.
Tera Type: Tera Ghost to prevent the opponents from spinning the sticky web away.
Moves: Stun Spore for more Speed control, Sticky Web because its literally its purpose and Moonblast for Damage and SpA drops and U-turn just so it can safely switch into another pokemon.
EV‘s and Nature: Max Speed+ to be as fast as possible and set up Sticky Web and Max HP for I think u meant longevity because its not suposed to be an actual attacking machine.
Other Options: You can also run Tera Ground Tera Blast instead of Tera Ghost and U-turn and invest in SpA if u want it to act more offensively.

Ogerpon-Wellspring
Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 8 HP / 248 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Encore
Role / General Tips: Ogeron Wrllspring acts as a very fast, strong and consistant Wallbreaker gaining further more Speed, thanks to Sticky Web and also forces slowed sown opponents into setupmoves, making them effectively unusuable. Its Often Great to breakthrough Stall and Balance alongside Great Tusk and Gholdengo.
Item and Tera Type are forced -_-
Moves: Swords Dance is a great Setup option and horn leech can replenish the HP lost while setting up, while also being a strong STAB move. Ivy Coudgel is just very powerful STAB getting furthermore boosted by Tera Water. Sticky Web and its High Speed make encore a viable option, often making opposing pokemon unusuable.
EV‘s and Nature; As fast as possible and as strong as possible to outspeed basically everything thanks to sticky Web.
Other Options: You can run High Horsepower, Knock Off, Substitue and Trailblaze over Encore

Kingambit
Kingambit @ Leftovers
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 132 HP / 232 Atk / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head
Role / General Tips: Kingambit is the Primary Gholdengo and Dragapult wall ans a great endgame sweeper alongside Iron Valiant.
Item: Leftovers for free healing also abusing the opponent sucker minding you while not having a substitute just giving you free HP.
Tera Type: Tera Flying is a great Defensive option, mostly walling EQ and sharing no weaknesses with the original typing.
EV‘s and Nature: 232+ attk got me the same dmg calcs as 252+attk, do I chose to invest the other EV‘s Elswhere and 144 Speed is to outspeed Paralysed max Speed+ Iron Treads and anything slower, just like balance pokemon slowed by Sticky Web. In the end I just slammed the lefover EV‘s into HP for more bulk.
Other Options: You can run Lum Berry to counter Will-o-wisp.

Great Tusk
Great Tusk @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Bulk Up
- Headlong Rush
- Heavy Slam
Role / General Tips: Great Tusk is the main Kingambit answer a a suprisingly good setup sweeper.
Item: Rocky Helmet Punishes things like Kingambit and Rapid Spin and U-Turn, while also giving it a free setup turn, if the enemy dies to it.
Tera Type: Tera Steel is a great defensive Typing for Great Tusk and boosting Heavy Slam.
Moves: Rapid Spin removing Hazards and at +1 Speed outspeeding eveything with the Sticky Web Drop. Bulk Up raising both defense and Attack is a great setup otion, often getting off a bulk up, when the enemy dies to the helmet. Heavy Slam abuses the heavy weight of this monster and is a very good suprise attack against many fairies and after Tera just as strong as the powerful Headlong Rush, while not dropping the own Defenses.
EV‘s and Nature: as fast as possible and as strong as possible

Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant @ Choice Specs
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Aura Sphere
- Shadow Ball
Role / General Tips: Iron Valiant is the fast endgame sweeper outspeeding basically everything after the sticky web and dealing huge damage.
Item: Choice Specs Allows for Iron Valiant to breakthrough fairly easily with high powerd attacks.
Tera Type: Tera Steel is a great defensive tera, resisting extrem speed and a lot of other stuff.
Moves: Moonblast and Aura Sphere are two very strong STAB moves, Shadow Ball deals with stuff like slowkings and variants and psyshock so it doesnt get walled by special walls and to counter poison types.
EV‘s and Nature: As fast as possible and as strong as possible

Gholdengo
Gholdengo @ Air Balloon
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Recover
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
Role / General Tips: Gholdengo acts as a great ground and poison immunity while dealing huge damage and healing.
Tera Type: Tera Dragon gives it resistances and neutralities vs everything, because steel covers the dragon and ice weakness, + dragon is a very strong weather counter
Moves: Nasty Plot acts as nice way to sweep, when the opponent cant switch into make it rain safely. Recover + tera dragon allows for consistant healing.
EV‘s and Nature: As Fast as possible and as strong as possible and 1HP, so it heals by 1hp more, because pokemon always rounds down and never rounds up.

4. Teambuilding process
I started off with Kingambit, Ogerpon-Wellspring, Gholdengo and Ribombee, because I wanted a sticky Web abusing team and those pokemon just immeaditely came into my mind and being half asleep i didnt wanna try crazy stuff.
After that I realised my team had near to no physical bulk and I enjoyed using Rocky Helmet Great Tusk while trying out the Alomomalola Stall Team.
In the end I wanted a fast and strong Special attacker with coverage and I enjoyed using specs valiant previously so I just took it.

5. Team usuage tips
VS HO:
- The main goal should be to get up Sticky Web, so it never gets removed.
- Ogerpon-Wellspring with tera water after an SD and Sticky Web can often sweep. Its often recommended by me if they send out moon vs wellspring u just klick encore on the dd or just die and get in tera steel tusk.
- Tera Steel Tusk is a great HO killer, because of rapid spin + Sticky Web outspeeding everything and Tera Steel just killing fairys left and right, while after 1-2 bu just 1HKO‘ing everything
VS Balance:
- Ogerpon acts as a great Balance breaker by positioning sd with encore or just u turn ribombee and just 1HKO‘ing evsrything
- Ity often possible to just send in Kingambit after 1 Death too and sometimes do huge damage.
- Sometimes Gholdengo can get brought out too.
VS Stall:
- Scare them with nasty plot gholdengo and try to sweep with ogerpon, thanks to it killing the main physical walls.
- Sometimes if ur able to wiggle down dozo a bit with rocky helmet + headlongrush from tusk Kingambit can even revenge kill, if not just keep switching in and out specs valiant while klicking buttons. Its recommended to bring sticky web out, so kingambit always outspeeds.
General Tips:
- Always try to at least paralyse the fastest mon on the opponents team (likely ace) kf ur too afraid to set up webs.
- this team is about positioning. often if u sacrifice 2-3 pokemon for a little bit of positioning its likely to get a sweep, just be careful to have a plan.
- Its almost never a bad idea to klick Tera Flying on gambit, if ur just slightly scared, just watch out if u may not need tera steel tusk or tera water ogerpon.

6. Threat List
Zapdos, Moltres, Cinderace, Speed Bosster Iron Moth Sub Lead, Rillaboom, Boots Zamazenta

Zapdos is often a big threat just like Moltres, because its not too hard to get in tusk with nice positioning but they just completely shut it down. The only super effective move i have is vs Moltres Ivy Coudgel making them hard to breakthrough because of Roost and decent bulk.
Both get countered by tera water Ogerpon-wellspring after 1 Swords Dance.

Cinderace is annoying because of court change, while spredding status, positioning the opponent sith u-turn and making valiant scared of gunk shot, ghold is scared of pyro ball and everything else is scared of will-o-wisp.
Cinderace gets often Para‘d by Ribombee tho making it an easy revenge kill for tusk or ogerpon-wellspring.
Speedbooster Substitute Lead Moth Threatens 1HKO‘s on everything while also outspeeding and blocking stun spore and any damage from ribombee with sub, while also avoiding sucker punch mindgames.
The best and almost only answer is to lead with valiant and tera steel psyshock on sludge wave coming in.
Rillaboom does so much damage vs the team, while keeping the opponents momentum with u-turn and having hammer arm / superpower to threaten kingambit.
Its not to hard to get tera steel rapid spin bulk up tusk in vs it. and tera steel valiant walls it as well as tera flying Kingambit.
Boots Zamazenta likes to just setup unbreakable iron defenses behind a sub while iron head threatens Iron Valiant which it also outspeeds while tera steel zamazenta making that even worse.
Boots Zamazenta gets countered tho by a combination of gholdengo and rocky helmet great tusk.

Great team! I'm a big fan of Stick Webs so this was a cool read. This team is pretty solid already, we are just going to make minor tweaks to make this team more consistent :blobwizard:

Changes:
Power Whip over Horn Leech on :ogerpon-wellspring:. It might miss from time to time, but its boost in power is very important. It hits key calcs like vs :zamazenta:. Just a power boost change, it will help secure important kills.

+2 252 Atk Wellspring Mask Ogerpon-Wellspring Power Whip vs. 252 HP / 88 Def Zamazenta: 364-429 (93.8 - 110.5%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
+2 252 Atk Wellspring Mask Ogerpon-Wellspring Power Whip vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Rillaboom in Grassy Terrain: 313-369 (91.7 - 108.2%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

Make your :gholdengo: set more optimized. On webs, Gholdengo can afford to run more bulk as you outspeed more under webs. I tweaked the set to be able to outspeed every mon under webs. 216 speed and a Jolly nature outspeeds :Dragapult: and everything slower, 252 SpA evs to hit as hard as possible and 40 hp evs pulled from speed. Also, I swapped Recover for Focus Blast as webs is a faster paced playstyle meaning that you want to eliminate things like :kingambit:. Also, swap the Tera to fighting for a dark resist as well as powering up Focus Blast.

Gholdengo @ Air Balloon
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Make It Rain
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast

Swap U-turn for Psychic on :ribombee: this is for the :iron-moth: matchup. If it counterleads you, then you will not be able to touch it if it gets a Substitute up. Also, swap the Tera to steel this is for the :glimmora: matchup if you really want to get webs up.

Swap Heavy Slam for Ice Spinner on :great-tusk: If you are going to be using Tusk as a sweeper, you need to be able to hit :gliscor:. Also, Heavy Slam isn't really needed as the fairies of the tier are very frail or die to Headlong Rush anyways. Ice Spinner gives better coverage while still hitting things like :enamorus:. Also, swap Rocky Helmet for Heavy Duty Boots or Booster Energy. I would recommend Boots as it helps vs the Webs mirror matchup but Booster gives a strong power boost.

Lastly, i'm not too sure about :iron-valiant:'s place on the team, but it seems like it does its role well as well as doing good vs things like :empoleon: that this team might struggle with. You could try replacing it with your own :iron-moth: as that helps with pretty much all the things your team currently struggles with.
Iron Moth @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost / Fairy
EVs: 124 Def / 132 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Fiery Dance
- Dazzling Gleam / Sludge Wave
- Psychic

Here is the paste of changes, that was alot we talked about.

Thats all! Hope this helps. Go get em! :boi:

I really like the idea of psychic on Ribombee as well the Tera Steel. I personally wouldnt want to replace Horn Leech with Power Whip, because I often need healing and at +2 i get many KO‘s even with that, but I will try using Power Whip over Encore. I used to run these EV‘s on Gholdengo too but Scarf / Offensive Air Balloon Ghold just outsped and KO‘d me to often, so I decided to go Max Speed again. I like Tera Dark Ghold too and will try out focus blast, but will replace it with nasty plot, because I barely use it and think healing is more important. Ice Spinner on Tusk is not needed, because I already wall it and it always uses Tera Water and Heavy Slam is very often very needed and because it so heavy and has 120BP most of the time Tera Steel Heavy Slam has a higher effective BP of 180 when neutral than Ice Spinner which has an effective BP of 160 when effective and I really need tera Steel so I wont replace that. And I also often Tera Steel When I attack them, to avoid Toxic and then its just a clean 2HKO anyways.
+2 252 Atk Tera Steel Great Tusk Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 244 HP / 252+ Def Gliscor: 244-288 (69.3 - 81.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
Rocky Helmet is important tho for chip and KO‘s often securing the victory and I often face sun, so Booster wouldnt do much, also because I switch with it a lot and Boots just are not worth it, because the max Hazards I usually get is Stealth Rock only.
Same point as Boostér Tusk for Booster Moth. I need to switch a lot and dont want to lose power, I also just prefer the Iron Valiant.

Thank you for taking your time and I hope you will have a nice Day.
