Help me help my grandmother!

So, my grandmother came to me because she walks a lot and wants a playlist of songs to listen to while she does so. Unfortunately, she's terrible with musicians and names of songs, and can only give me either a song name she likes or a musician she enjoys. Unfortunately again, most of their music isn't what she wants to listen to while walking... this is where you guys come in. I've got the following so far:

Kansas City by Muddy Waters
A bunch of Jimmy Buffett
Cherry Poppin' Daddies since she likes swing

And she likes the following but we can't come up with similar music:
Elvis Presley
Swing
Jazz
late 60's music
early to mid 70's music

She wants this all to be upbeat music too, like I said, music to walk to. Got any suggestions?

sonny rollins - saxophone colossus: this is pretty upbeat jazz (at times), it's also great chill music.

natsumen and soil & pimp sessions are also solid recent japanese bands that release very upbeat jazz

When I'm walking, I listen to a lot of 70's and 80's rock of various artists. I particularly like Fleetwood Mac (their newest album, Say You Will, is pretty good).

But if she's into Elvis? There's a new band that she absolutely HAS to check out (and so do all of you, whether or not you like Elvis!): The Baseballs.

The Baseballs are a German cover band that perform modern songs from various genres, especially pop and hip-hop, and cover them in the 1950's style Rock n' Roll. It. Is. Awesome.

Their first album, Strike! has such redubbed hits as Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love", Robbie Williams' "Angels", Katy Perry's "Hot n' Cold" and Scissor Sisters' "I Don't Feel Like Dancing".

Most people think their best work, however, is Rihanna's Umbrella:

My personal favourite is the Pussycat Dolls' "Don' Cha"

I highly recommend obtaining this album. It's pretty much perfect for your grandmother. All of the songs can be found on Youtube.

EDIT: Also worth checking out is Yoko Kanno and Seatbelts. They're a Japanese jazz/blues band who wrote all the music used in the anime series Cowboy Bebop.

EDIT2: The Baseballs' cover of Usher's "Love In This Club" is -very- Elvisesque.

Here are a couple of things I really like:

Little Willie John - I'm Shakin
He's a really awesome 50s RocknRoll singer. Most famous for writing Fever, but is an awesome singer as well.

Charles Mingus - Boogie Stop Shuffle
The best jazz musician of them all.

Have a nice day.

Late 60's to Early 70's you cannot go wrong with The Beatles.
Although avoid their late fusion stuff, nobody likes that Indian music.
Hits such as I Want To Hold Your Hand, Twist And Shout, Eight Days A Week, A Hard Day's Night, Hey Jude, Blackbird, Yellow Submarine, Yesterday and stuff like that are probably their best.

I was under the impression that Fleetwood Mac had not released anything worthwhile since Tango in the Night (with the exception of The Dance). Is this actually worth listening to? The idea of a Fleetwood Mac album without Christine McVie is just odd.

Yeah, I really like the Say You Will album. There are actually a couple of songs with Christine in them (they're old, previously unreleased bits). I saw them live a fortnight ago, and you didn't really miss Christine McVie, I felt.

Besides the titular track "Say You Will" (Stevie), I really like "Smile At You" (Stevie), "Everybody Finds Out" (Stevie), "Thrown Down" (Stevie), "Destiny Rules" (Stevie), "Silver Girl" (Stevie), "Miranda" (Lindsay), "Steal Your Heart Away" (Lindsay), "Running Through The Garden" (Stevie), "Peacekeeper" (Lindsay), "Bleed To Love Her" (Lindsay), Illume 9/11 (Stevie), Goodbye Baby (Stevie). These rank up with some of their classics like Dreams and Storms, for me.

Which only leaves like three songs on the album that I don't think are incredible, and they're still solid.

I actually didn't know about the album (released 2003) until this year, I found it accidentally in the Nokie music shop.
