Now I have a slightly different problem... I'm in need of lots and lots of $$$ in order to buy my way to two TM 89s, but lack the will-power to play through the stupid Game Corner to get them the hard way. So where's the best place to get lots of money really quickly? The Elite Four?

amulet coin+rich people south of hearthome. you can't miss them. When their pokemon are level 60, you can get 24,000 $$$ each battle. One has a Chatot, the other has a Roselia (IIRC).
Don't forget your Amulet Coin.
And the "Gentleman" type trainer carries a lot of cash; you could VS Seeker some of them.
