VGC Help with my Koraidon Team

I am relatively new to VGC, I played some at the start of SV but fell off ater a while and trying to get back into it now! So I wanted to build a team around koraidon because I have had the most fun with teams it is in. The basic idea on this team is to set up for either Koraidon or Urishifu to win the game for me.

Koraidon @ Clear Amulet
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Collision Course
- Flare Blitz
- Flame Charge
- Protect

Feel like this is a pretty basic set here. Clear Amulet is used to help against the intimidate and parting shot users. Flame charge so that I can out speed most mons after using this once and the Flare blitz and Collision course to deal the big damage. Protect is always nice to play mind games, or help with stalling out trick rooms or tailwinds. Terra fire is used to resist the fairy moves.

Raging Bolt @ Assault Vest
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 188 HP / 140 Def / 124 SpA / 52 SpD / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderclap
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder

I went with a bulky raging bolt set here to be able to tank some hits and then deal damage. Raging bolt seemed like a solid partner here for Koraidon to help into any water or flying types that otherwise would counter my STAB moves. Thunder was chosen here because of pelipper. Volt switch and thunderclap for strong priority and pivot moves. Draco for a strong STAB move.

Flutter Mane @ Choice Specs
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 100 HP / 156 Def / 108 SpA / 4 SpD / 140 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Moonblast
- Dazzling Gleam
- Icy Wind

This is another bulkier build here but with specs to deal big damage. Flutter mane felt like another solid partner to go with this team because it gives me a good ghost type, and good dragon immunity with the 2 dragons on the team already that was needed. This seems like a pretty basic moveset. Shadowball and Moonblast for strong STAB. D-glam for a spread move, and icy wind for speed control.

Chien-Pao @ Focus Sash
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Spinner
- Sucker Punch
- Throat Chop
- Protect

I picked Chien Pao because he is a great counter to Groudon and terrain users. Ghost terra to avoid fake outs. Ice Spinner to remove the terrains and a great Ice move, Sucker Punch to get the priority, throat chop for a good dark move, and then protect. I went with the focus sash here because of how frail chien pao is, I want to at least get off 2 hits.

Pelipper @ Rocky Helmet
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 172 HP / 4 Def / 172 SpA / 140 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Weather Ball
- Hurricane
- Protect
- Wide Guard

I really like to have wide guard on my teams, so I went with pelipper. I thought that this would be a fun addition to the team here as it allows me to always control the weather and use that to my advantage. Weather ball is also a fun tech move here because I have the ability to make it a fire move by switching in koraidon. Hurricane is great in the rain, then protect for single targets on pelipper. Rocky helmet here because it makes pelipper and good defensive wall and perfecter counter to koraidon.

Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Scarf
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 60 HP / 156 Atk / 20 Def / 20 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Aqua Jet

Urishifu felt like a great second wincon to go with this team. He is great in the rain and really good without the rain too. I like the choice scarf here to give me the speed boost. Surging strikes feels like a must have and so does close combat. I went with uturn to fast pivot, and aqua jet just incase I need to out speed another priority user or I get knocked off.

So that is the basics of this team. I have found myself not using Raging bolt much, and cant quite seem to make this team feel consistent. Maybe that is just gonna take time to get used to the team and VGC but any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Sorry for double posting, but now is time for a proper rate Mulegator!

The first 4 Pokemon honestly look perfectly fine. It's just Pelipper and Urshifu-RS that make zero sense. You have a rain core on a sun team, which makes little to no sense.

There are multiple options, so I'll drop a few:

:ogerpon-cornerstone:
Ogerpon-Cornerstone @ Cornerstone Mask
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 50
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Follow Me
- Spiky Shield
- Power Whip

:whimsicott:
Whimsicott @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 236 HP / 164 SpD / 108 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tailwind
- Moonblast
- Encore
- Sunny Day

:Chi-yu:
Chi-Yu @ Choice Scarf / Focus Sash
Ability: Beads of Ruin
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Heat Wave
- Dark Pulse
- Overheat
- Snarl / Protect

These are basic partners, pick and choose to your liking! I highly recommend going with Whimsicott, since it provides amazing speed control.

Ogerpon-C hits ground-types and CIR really hard while granting redirection.

Chi-Yu grants damage boosts to Raging Bolt and Flutter Mane while just nuking things with Overheat.

Thank you for this help! Yeah the double weather wasn't working out as consistently as I wanted. I will give the team a try with some of the mons you suggested! Thank you!
