Hello, this is my 2nd rmt ever so i am still pretty new to rmt's but i have been playing since beginning X/Y and have been building since mid X/Y.
Basically i wanted to build around Mega Lopunny and this was my best shot at it!
Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Return
- ice punch
- Fake Out
I thought that Mega Lopunny would be shit when it was released, but man was i wrong! This thing is an absolute monster! HO can hardly deal with this bar a select few megas and scarfers. This thing tears up balance to with its unresisted STABS it can break through walls rather easily!
I chose Mega Lopunnies two filler moves fake out and ice punch over sub + encore, sub + PuP or fake out sub because this team does not have a way of dealing super effective damage to lando-t without it.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Fire Punch
- Body Slam
Something that covers up 3 of Mega Lopunnies weaknesses and is neutral to one, Jirachi!
Since my favorite play style is balance (I like stall, but absolutely despise HO because im horrible at it) so i decided to make it specially defensive, and most Fairy, psychic and flying types are special attackers i figured it would be a good fit.
I chose this moveset for wish support shameful para flinching and fire punch to hit ferro. One of the ways i have to deal with the lando's is baiting them in with rachi and body slam on the switch and hope for the para .-. (Shameful i know but it has to be done)
Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
I needed something to take fighting, fire and ground attacks, so i went with Dragonite!
I am currently using this as a DD sweeper, but choice band may be better as Dragonite has not been pulling his weight on this team sadly.
I went with this EV spread because at +1 it outspeeds thundurus at +1 and put the rest in hp and attack for more bulk and power!
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
Looking at the team i needed a physical wall, so i went with Hippowdon!
Hippowdon was recently moved up on the viability rankings (i think) and it synergized well with the team, all of its weaknesses were covered.
I chose EQ for a nice high based power STAB, slack off for instant recovery, whirlwind for not being set up bait for things that resist EQ, stealth rock because i needed a stealth rocker and would rather fire punch on rachi.
Volcarona @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 208 HP / 192 Def / 108 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain
I saw MrJamVad use this set and i decided to use it as i needed a special attacker and this covers up by breloom weakness so i went with Volcarona!
This set has been pretty good to me, this set using Rotom-Wash, breloom and a lot of physical attackers as set up bait so it is really nice.
I chose Giga Drain over Roost to use Rotom-Wash as set up bait (Quiver Dance and then Giga Drain)
and the rest of the set is pretty self explanatory.
Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 84 HP / 174 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Healing Wish
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
Looking at my team i was VERY weak too rocks, so i needed a defogger or spinner, so i chose latias!
I chose Latias over Latios because Mega Lopunny can be worn down rather easily if i dont predict right, so Healing Wish support (+ Jirachi`s wish support) is really nice for Mega Lopunny.
I chose this moveset because im unoriginal .-. and this is probably its most effective moveset for this team!
Threat List: i dont know how to do the click to show thing :(
Rotom-Wash is a huge threat to this team as i have close to nothing to switch in too its moves
Both of the Landorus'es (Landori?) are a massive threat to this team i have a switch in to Landorus-t in hippowdon but that is just free momentum if he u-turns, i have NOTHING for Lando-i i have checks, but nothing to switch in :/
Scarf Gengar just wins. Mega Lopunny no longer out speeds and Latias no longer speed ties and there is no switch ins.
Mega Zard Y has to be played around as nothing really switch ins
I am sure there is more but i havent encountered them yet.
Importable: Still dont know how to do the click to show thing:(
