Hex Pivot (Pecharunt) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Poison Puppeteer
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
Tera Type: Water / Fairy
Bold Nature
- Hex
- Toxic / Malignant Chain
- Parting Shot
- Recover

Pecharunt can cause a massive headache with the ability to not only be bulkier than it normally is but also to power itself up by spreading status while empowering its Hex. Toxic is a guaranteed way for Pecharunt to spread status, while Malignant Chain allows it to circumvent being Taunted and gives it a Poison-type STAB move at the cost of overall PP, with both synergizing well with Hex. Parting Shot allows Pecharunt to pivot to other teammates with ease while weakening whatever foe it faces. Pecharunt's Tera type is a bit team dependent, but both Water and Fairy provide general defensive capabilities to allow Pecharunt to pull off a well-timed Recover or Parting Shot. Heavy-Duty Boots is the item of choice, mainly so Pecharunt doesn't take chip damage when pivoting with Parting Shot.

Pecharunt can fit into almost any slot, but mainly the HP or Special Defense slot. Gods such as Kyurem-W, Ho-Oh, and Arceus all provide the aforementioned stats for Pecharunt to utilize; more specifically, Ho-Oh and Arceus with Will-O-Wisp are useful, as they can help Pecharunt's Hex hit harder with their own status moves. Special walls such as Ting-Lu and Corviknight complement Pecharunt's ability to take on almost any physical attacker. More specifically, Ting-Lu can take the Ghost- and Dark-type attacks aimed at Pecharunt from the likes of Hoopa-U and Darkrai. Steel-types such as Zacian-C, Skarmory, and Iron Treads can take next to nothing from Pecharunt thanks to being immune to Toxic, which in turn neuters Hex's overall power and gives them the opportunity to either set up a sweep or entry hazards. That is why Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Rotom-W, and Heatran are great partners to help aid in wearing down the aforementioned Steel-types, with the former two providing a Ground-type immunity.

Pecharunt can cause a massive headache with the ability to not only be bulkier than it normally is, but also by powering itself up with spreading status and a superpowered while empowering its Hex. Speaking of, Hex is the main crux of this set, allowing Pecharunt to nail foes with a status condition. Toxic is a guaranteed way for Pecharunt to spread status while Malignant Chain allows it to circumvent being Taunted and having a Poison STAB move at the cost of overall PP., with both synergizing well with Hex. Parting Shot allows Pecharunt to pivot to other teammates with ease while neutering weakening whatever foe it faces. Recover is the last move, strictly to giveing Pecharunt reliable healing and give it the ability to stick around longer increased longevity. Pecharunt's Tera Type is a bit team dependent, but both Water and Fairy provide general defensive capabilities to allow Pecharunt to continue throughout the match and pull off a well-timed Recover or Parting Shot. Mention Heavy-Duty Boots synergy with Parting Shot

Pecharunt slots best can fit into almost any slot but mainly the HP or SpD slot. so Gods such as Kyurem-W, Ho-Oh, and Arceus all provide the aforementioned stats for Pecharunt to abuse; more specifically, Ho-Oh and Arceus specifically are useful, as they can help Pecharunt's Hex hit harder as they have with their own statuses to spread. Special walls such as Ting-Lu and Mandibuzz bad example, Mandi is typically physdef, maybe like Corv or Lando? those can also tie into Ground-type weakness next line complement Pecharunt's ability to take on almost any physical attackers. Both of the aforementioned Dark-types also can help take the Ghost- and Dark-type attacks aimed at Pecharunt from who? as well. Pokemon such as Weavile, Hydrapple, and Ogerpon can take on the Ground-types that threaten Pecharunt Again, some exmaples?. Fairy-types such as Clefable and Primarina can take on the threatening Dark-types such as Hisuian Samurott and Weavile that try to wear Pecharunt down or force it to Terastallize. This feels a lot like a laundry list, maybe make it slightly easier to read. Also maybe mention how Pech can struggle into Steels like Zac/Treads/AV Arch, etc. because Hex hits like a wet pool noodle into non-poisoned targets

Heavy-Duty Boots is the item of choice, mainly so Pecharunt doesn't take chip damage when pivoting with Parting Shot. idk why but this feels a bit too obvious and dex info-y, could try to talk on discord about how we would reword it to be more informative

Pecharunt can fit into almost any slot but mainly the HP or SpD slot. Gods such as Kyurem-W, Ho-Oh, and Arceus all provide the aforementioned stats for Pecharunt to abuse; more specifically, Ho-Oh and Arceus specify willo-o-wisp arceus sets specifically are useful, as they can help Pecharunt's Hex hit harder with their own status moves. Special walls such as Ting-Lu and Landorus-T lando-t isn't a special wall, would be better to mention specially defensive excadrill or specially defensive corviknight complement Pecharunt's ability to take on almost any physical attacker. More specifically, Ting-Lu can take the Ghost- and Dark-type attacks aimed at Pecharunt from the likes of Hoopa-U and Darkrai. While the aforementioned Ground-types make for great partners, they are also Pecharunt's biggest enemy. Therefore, Pokemon such as Weavile, Hydrapple, and Ogerpon can take on the previously mentioned Ground-types that threaten Pecharunt as well as Great Tusk and Landorus. (green means highlight) this is a bit... weird. toxic / malignant chain pecharunt ironically beats a lot of ground types 1v1, especially ting lu, and the hex set hates facing steel types way more than it hates facing grounds (so I'd put this parts after the steels). For the examples themselves, I'd mention offensive great tusk and landorus-i as ground type threats, and mention pecharunt with rotom-w, skarmory or landorus-t as partners Steel-types such as Iron Treads and Assault Vest Archaludon Zacian-C, Skarmory and Iron Treads can take next to nothing from Pecharunt thanks to being immune to Toxic, which in turn neuters Hex. Mention in the same sentence that they then abuse pecharunt to either set up or set up hazards That is why Pokemon such as Great Tusk mention lando-t here instead with the new steel types, as tusk loses to both zac-c and skarm, Iron Moth, and Heatran are great partners to help threaten them and pave the way for Pecharunt to freely Toxic and Hex all its foes.

Recover is the last move, giving Pecharunt reliable healing and increased longevity (RP) this is filler; Recover is self-explanatory Pecharunt's Tera type lowercase is a bit team dependent, but both Water and Fairy provide general defensive capabilities to allow Pecharunt to pull off a well-timed Recover or Parting Shot. Heavy-Duty Boots is the item of choice, mainly so Pecharunt doesn't take chip damage when pivoting with Parting Shot.
