hey hi check my rainy dance dance

Helloooo my name is Holywatr. I'm building a rain team of (at some point) legendary proportions. i wanna be the very best that no one ever was

Kyogre @ Mystic Water
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Water Spout
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Protect

So I've been having a good time running Kyogre as a lead with Tornadus because water spout after a successful tailwind absolutely barrels. Nice and bulky, and has decent neutral coverage. Ice beam is a nice touch since it hits hard against a lot of pokemon I'm facing on VGC 21 showdown. Sometimes I use it as a backup though, and throw toxicroak out there with tornadus so he can land a nice fakeout / poison jab on the oh-so-common rillabiatch while I get tailwind up.

Tornadus @ Wacan Berry
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tailwind
- Protect
- Hurricane
- Rain Dance

For the aforementioned reasons. Hurricane is an obvious choice on this one wile rain pours. I almost always lead with tornadus out first, in fact... I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for alternatives on that end... or simply, an altogether better choice of mons.

Dragapult @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Light Screen
- Sucker Punch
- Surf
- Thunder Wave

Sucker punch because calyrex f***s me up otherwise. Thunderwave because will-o-wisp accuracy pisses me off. light screen because most the teams ive encountered lately are special. I also like the Dragon/Ghost mix.

Kingdra (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 68 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 12 SpD / 172 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rain Dance
- Muddy Water
- Draco Meteor
- Hurricane

SWIFT SWIM. a real glass cannon this guy... although, I haven't found a whole lot of utility for Kingdra as I have for other members of my team. Maybe I'm just not using him right.

Toxicroak @ Black Sludge
Ability: Dry Skin
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Poison Jab
- Drain Punch
- Rain Dance

For all the grass/fairy types I keep running into. Poison jab hasn't really been hitting too hard though, takes like two hits or so for most. Drain punch has been basically useless so far. Fake out is awesome though, especially to mess up my opponents flow and set up rain/tailwind/lightscreen etc.

Registeel @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Body Press
- Iron Defense
- Protect
- Stealth Rock

Stealth rock setter. Great switch in against predicted grassy glide or some other move that would otherwise hurt bad :/ Body press is dangerous as hell once I stack my defense, and most of the time my opponent is focusing on my more obvious attacker. Regi A slow, sneaky devil.

Please share your thoughts as to how I can improve this team or maybe even how to better utilize it ! I'm new to competitive battling, and so far I really enjoy it - but I lack the experience/knowledge a lot of y'all probably have.

Thanks :)
