hiya, i'm new here. i just bought platinum and finished my little brother's pearl version a week ago so i'm up to date on the fourth generation. played pokemans since red/blue came out. i have never battled before but i have read a few articles so i'm getting the picture. i look forward to becoming an active user in this community and learning how to battle (the main reason why im here) and hopefully i will pick up quickly. thanks for your time and it would much appreciated if anyone would give me a few ideas as where to start battling.
