NOC Hope+1 Game Thread

Lots of people laying low and not leaving much of an impression yet, I don't remember even reading a post from itzviper/ragmatho in particular
apricity's stream of consciousness haha gotcha posts have seemed over the top and a bit awkward early in the day
apricity/duskfall interaction page 4 did not dissipate that impression but duskfall came off as having smelled blood in the water with their "I did not ask you X question because you would've sidestepped it anyway" argument
On the same page FH states that he thinks cb is mafia but does not vote him or follow up on that. Jay also pops in and doesn't say much but asks FH to elaborate on his one liner. Jay somehow looks kind of good here without actually saying much

Texas has seemed underwhelming so far, didn't like his entrance much and feels less of a driving force than usual
FH page 5 had me like ??? but having no idea what he's talking about and getting triggered by him is usually how I recognize his town game so i actually slightly tr his nonsensical shade slinging here
FH still doesn't vote cb and goes after apricity instead on that page
Ragmatho actually makes a post and gives a bunch of stances on people unprompted but with zero reasoning and a cryptic "as far as I know"
Changedwawmen makes a passing comment as well

I give up on commenting every page like that actually

MS/FH seem townish for bad meta reasons
apricity seems sketchy for mostly tonal reasons
CB lean townish for wifom reasons
Duskfall nullish but his argument against apricity p4 seemed disingenuous
Changedwawmen/ragmatho have been spectators so far and I didn't like their posts up to page 6
Others I mostly don't remember

Wait, what? This makes no sense, you haven't mentioned any suspicion of ragmatho (from what I can see) and you did mention earlier that you were suspicious of me because of one of my posts. And people have been having reads on ragmatho, so that second part makes no sense either...

Why are you avoiding apricity's question? And why are you trying to deflect by acting like you were talking about ragmatho?
 
The part about people not having reads is also consistent with me because nobody has stated yet that they're suspicious of me, so that part is also consistent with me. I'm pretty sure you were talking about me in that first post.

BTW Duskfall was the first person (I think) to kinda ignore ragmatho's scummy post and throw attention towards someone else (me), even after ragmatho had been called out

Is against apricity during the first few days but then suddenly jumps on the "ragmatho's post was scummy" wagon, and then basically restates what apricity had been saying about ragmatho (even though he had the same opportunity to do this earlier on when I called out ragmatho, but instead he chose to comment on my own post) Nothing wrong with that but all I'm saying is that there was no attention brought towards ragmatho on Duskfall's part until other people started doing it
 
I feel like Metal Sonic is the safe lynch, but not the best one. Texas on the other hand needs to be pressured some more. I hate using past games as reasoning to suspect someone but I have played in an NOC (maybe two?) where Texas was town and an NOC were Texas was Mafia. Texas is almost always taking charge as town (starting discussion, pressuring people, analyzing posts and reads) so the fact that he's not really saying anything and just leaving a vote for Metal Sonic is raising some red flags for me. Of course, it's day one so maybe this doesn't mean much. In terms of the NOC I played with them where they were mafia, from what I remember they were quieter and just took less charge overall. And nobody has really been saying anything about Texas so this is something we should be considering for future investigations/votes/etc.

I'm just getting the feel that Texas is trying to fly under the radar for this first day, not really saying much or participating in any discussions (other than that weird "argument" they had with Duskfall during the first day), and we shouldn't be sleeping on them at all.
 
And for the record I'm not trying to suggest a Texas lynch, but I am suggesting that we shouldn't be ignoring them at all. There is a strong push for an apricity/metal sonic lynch from multiple sides, and it looks like some people are trying to hide behind that action.

I stand by what I said in this post that of the few people that were lurking I'm pretty sure someone was lurking scum. For what it's worth your posts now have me leaning towards town on you (whydon), it's hard to read the people who havent shown much activity.

That still doesn't match up with you saying nobody had reads on ragmatho..but w/e benefit of the doubt
 
There is a part of me that believes he was talking about me in that first post and then switched it over to ragmatho after you asked him...but that's probably stretching it a little bit
