How can I help this team?

Azelf @Focus Sash
Naive
4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~Psychic
~Explosion
~Fire blast
~Taunt

Azelf's real niche is to deal fast damage and lay down some rocks. Since this lead is ever so common I really don't need to go in depth do I? Decided not to put in SR because taunt sounded more useful, and i really have nothing to block a spinner anyways

Synergy: Azelf is my lead, and if used right can cripple at least one Pokemon. I might replace him with a scarf gar if I cannot get him to be used right. Rocks can do some nice damage and give me a free turn if they're desperate to spin it out.

Scizor@Life Orb
Adamant
Technician
252 atk / 232 hp / 20 def / 4 spe
~Sword dance
~Bullet Punch
~Super Power
~Pursuit

Scizor has somehow transformed from underdog to superstar. With a sword dance bullet punch is bound to hit some poor soul for massive damage and I'm counting on him to deal with Gliscor. He also has been a fan favorite of mine so im glad he finally has a niche recognizable. Super power is for the number one counter, a Heatran of course

Synergy: Scizor can take any attack Azelf is weak too and threaten to either dance or deal massive damage with a pursuit. He can also feel right at home with sandstorms that tend to mess up my zelfs strategy of suicide.

Heatran @ Choice scarf
Timid
4 hp 252 Spe 252 SpAttk
~Fire blast
~Earth Power
~Hidden Power Ice
~Explosion

Complete synergy with Scizor or almost as good as the dos/vire teamwork.I might consider using Naive to beat Skymin, but popular speculations state Skymin is going straight to Ubers so I might not bother. Chose timid to Outspeed other scarf trans

Synergy: Complete synergy with Scizor and can deal with threats and do some damage at the same time. Also helps with opposing Scizors that can be a handful to take down.

Dugtrio @ Choice Band
Jolly
252 atk / 252 spd / 4 hp
~Earthquake
~Stone edge
~Sucker Punch
~Aerial Ace

Revenge kills so many threats its not even funny. Deals with nape, Tyranitar, Heracross with no sub, and maybe Heatran that somehow survives my Gengar's anti-lead strategy. My friend says that if you use band night slash is the better choice, but I kinda like priority attacks...is he correct?

Synergy: Basically the trashman who deals with unfinished business. Can deal with many threats and is so friggin awesome becase it looks so harmless.

dpmfa134.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpD
~Wish
~Surf
~Hp-electric
~Ice beam

To be honest, I hate Vaporen but I love wish passers. My pokes are bulky, but bulky is far from invincible. He can deal with my nape problem so and makes my bulky Pokemon last a lot longer. Also deals with Gyrados surprisingly well which is a nice plus. I'd love to replace it with protect to help stall but a Gyrados counter is might useful in these troubled times

Synergy: Hes the medic in my little squad. Has surprisingly good Special Attack so his attacks may make you get more then just a little...damp. Wish has saved me in many battles also.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Adamant
120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
~Dragon Dance
~Fire Blast
~Outrage
~Earthquake

Basically my very late game sweeper. I don;t like to bring him out unless my pokes manage to kill an enemy gliscor or at least cripple him, but if rocks are down he can still do major damage. Scizor has a tendency to leave a real dent, so I like to think of Salamence as a "finisher" of sorts.

Synergy: From Azelf to Heatran there is a lot of synergy. One of Heatran's massive weaknesses is earthquake, so I thought a Pokemon that could be immune to it, plus do major damage, was a must, so I replaced Lucario with Salamence.

-------------------------------------------------

I'm about to start getting ready to make this, any glaring problems you see with it?

This seems to be a team that has been built with synergy in mind, so I congratulate you for that. I don't see any major problems with this team, though I do see somethings that we can fix for this team to become much more successful.

You don't need a Ghost-type Pokemon in your team to have a successful trip with Stealth Rocks, so I would put Stealth Rock on Azelf to be honest. If you're wondering what kind of moveset you should use now, I would suggest replacing either Psychic or Fire Blast, or if you're willing to lose Taunt, then Stealth Rock will have a place in the set without having to worry about not having much coverage and not have to worry about Stee-types and others, and I don't really see Taunt doing anything with a lead Azelf, as there isnt many Pokemon that really set up like that, and you will find Aerodactyl setting up Stealth Rocks faster than your Taunt, so Taunt is kind of useless in the current metagame. Is there any reason why you are running Life Orb? I don't really think you should be carrying a Life Orb on Scizor with that little Speed, you will only be hurting yourself, especially since you lack Roost. I won't advice to make that Scizor any faster either, I would actually suggest changing the EV Spread to 176 HP / 100 Atk / 176 Def / 56 Spe @ Adamant, this allows you to have a lot of bulk, mostly for Mamoswine, Weavile, and Tyranitar who can cause serious problems, while you have enough Attack to reach a decent stat after a Sword Dance. Don't have much to say about Heatran, and fine, but I would suggest Naive or Hasty > Timid, on Heatran, which will inscrease the damage of Explosion done by Heatran. I don't see why Vaporeon does NOT have Protect, as without Protect it loses ther ability to heal itself, which means Vaporeon has no safe self recovery, and the last thing you want is for Vaporeon to be dead, which will then be some serious problems. I would suggest using Wish / Protect / Hidden Power Electric / Surf, the 2 attacking moves will provide coverage against Infernape, and other Fire-types, while Hidden Power Electric will take care of Gyarados, who posses a big problem to the team if you didnt have Vaporeon. That EV Spread is not great either, my suggestion will be changing it to 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpA @ Bold, this EV spread will be much more effective, trust the word of a Vaporeon user. That Salamence is fine, but I think you can run a much better EV Spread for handling physical pokemon, such as Fighting types. I would suggest using the set called "Physically Bulky" Salamence from here, which explains why much better than I will.

I do notice the lack of coverage with Salamence, and I guess Ice Beam was there on Vaporeon for Salamence. Ice Beam can go instead of Surf here, and the way that you will handle Fire-types is with Dugtrio, you will have to predict here, killing them with Eartquake, but you are fucked with Scarfed Heatran, so I wont really advice this unless you have perfect prediction, and apart from losing to Scarf Heatran, you also lose a viable STAB move.

Thanks alot venom, I took most of your advice and htey were very very helpful. I would like to ask, if this team is good enough for me to spend my time making, I would be veryt sad if I spent all this time breeding and ending with a sub-par team = (

That EV spread is really outdated Venom. 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpD with a Bold nature should suffice, as Special Attack EVs aren't changing any OHKOs to 2HKOs, or 2HKOs to 3HKOs. The main pokemon Vappy should be concerned with are Infernape and Gyarados, the former is OHKOed by Surf regardless while the ladder is 2HKOed by HP Electric w/out Special Attack EVs. Protect, however, is absolutely necessary on Vaporeon.
