Don't get me wrong, I know how to breed pokémon. I understand how IVs are passed down and how long it takes for my baby pokes to hatch.
What I don't understand is how you end up with these awesome IV combinations.
Can you give any insight as to how you optimize your breeding time? Should I invest the most time into catching Dittos? Should I catch more of the pokémon I'm breeding?
When it comes down to actually breeding what are the best combinations? Should I stick it out with a Ditto and the poke I'm breeding, or should I try and get two decent versions of the poke in question? Should you breed for nature first and then Everstone from there, or is a Ditto with a 31 in the IV you need with the wrong nature an okay place to start, just keep hatching eggs until you get the right natures?
Is it better to save before getting the egg, hatching it and soft resetting or better to get a boxfull and go from there?
I feel like I breed for weeks to get pokémon with high 20 IVs and maybe one 31 and give in to a neutral nature because I can't stand to hatch another one. However, posters here make it seem like the have this triple flawless pokémon with the right nature in a week or less.
Tell me how you do it!
