Geosense is a site where you try and pinpoint the location of major cities on world, US, and Europe maps. It keeps track of high scores and you can compete against other people.

Test Your Geography Knowledge is a site that quizzes you on the names and locations of different countries, with maps for all the continents as well as some countries.

So, how well can you do?
 
geosense: 4404 this was my second attem[t, in my first attempt the map didnt load until after the first question..

Also I got 100% on continents and oceans at that other place..

5957 second time on geosense xd

and i got like 4,000 the first time because when it said US - Portland I clicked portland maine without even thinking ;(
 
4577 on geosense. The clicking is hard to be completely accurate.. like I know where fucking Boston is but I was still off.

I did the US states on the other site and rocked a perfect score. That one would be good timed.
 
5536 on Geosense/world.

The kms away were 666 lol.

Also, in other attempts i discovered i suck at Africa and Asia geography.

Yeah some of these miss because you can't be as accurate as you want. Mostly on these small countries.
 
I got 4337 on my second try on Geosense. It was difficult. I loled when I got some city in Russia and I clicked way near Japan and I was 15,000 km off.
 
lol, I was wondering why all of these scores were so high? That is because i took the second link. I got a 111/138 on the Europe quiz. I'll edit this if I am able to take the first one.

EDIT: 4438 on first try. Geography 100 is the hardest class I have ever had in college up to this point, so outside of Africa and South America, I know a lot.
 
this is addicting and probably unhealthy for me >_>; i got a weekly high score on the lowest error normal mode. helped that i got a bunch of pakistan cities and birmingham, UK, i totally screwed up in pinpointing armenia though :]

(I'm not pakistani or british, it's just a matter of knowing that they are where they are >_>)

pulled off 5100 against someone else, thank goodness I know the exact location of kenya! :]
 
World: 5870 (I got lucky on this one with a few small countries that made it easy to get near max points)
US: 13,000 something

Russia, Australia, and Brazil are retarded.

California and Texas are for the U.S. map.

Europe: 131/138 - lil problems with former Yugoslavia
Europe Capitals: 109/117
Asia: 81/96
South America: 38/39

1st try geosense world: 3459
2nd try geosense world: 4557, would´ve been a lot higher but my last one was 2666km off damn
5th try geosense world: 5559, even through the first one was a russian not well known city for 0 pts
 
Played the first one 10 times and my best score was 4930, probably because they gave me Da Nang and Hanoi (cities in Vietnam), and I was less than 100 km off from each of them.


One of them I hit Brussels with 0 km off and then followed it up by drawing a blank on gibraltar and hitting 13000 km away =/

And I learned that I suck ass at Canada and Austrailia geography =\

south america: 39/39 got lucky with paramaribo/cayenne
 
I got 6452 on Geosense; I would have gotten more if they had differentiated Portland, Maine from Portland, Oregon...
