How To Be A Pokemon Master

As I was reading through this, I realized that the term Pokemon Master is really thrown out there without having any definite truth to what it really is. So, what I would like to do is just have something like a checklist or what you need to have done to truly qualify as the Pokemon Master.

I'd like to hear some examples from this list. Your link doesn't function in these new forums, sadly, but looking over the pitch you've written here, the only way I can see this article flourishing is if it was branded as Entertainment. The title 'Pokemon Master' IS rather subjective since it's so hard to define, not to mention that the in-game title Pokemon Champion is already given to individuals who are best at Pokemon battles. Granted, there are more areas besides fighting that a trainer can excel at, but I still don't see why an objective approach would be interesting to read about, although that may change if you could ellaborate on that checklist of yours.

It seems like I stumbled upon the thread you spoke of, and much to my expectations, the general conclusion is to beat all of the best trainers and have strong bonds with Pokemon. In other words, it's a dull topic to be tackling objectively, so the only way I can see it working if it's handled as an Entertainment article. And to be honest, I'm not sure if you're the right person to write it.

Pretty much what Bummer said; there's no absolute when it comes to being a 'Pokemon Master' and there isn't a single player on Smogon who has such skill to win ~100% of battles. So yea nop >_> Better luck next time~!
