i didnt really read the thread but i agree with Albatross re: gun violence being cool in board games. i like giving my tabletop characters guns for no reason. gonna do a twist on classical expectations in this vein soon (zombie character with a sawed-off shotgun that shoots people (not otherzombies))

If you're really skilled at chess you can just dodge your opponent's attacks at the last second, because your bond with your pieces is so great.

i hate how you can only Dynamax your queen once it reaches the other side

loling @ this thread, i can't believe you actually want to change CHESS an gname that has ebben IDENTICAL for CENTURIES and unchanged to add stuff like bears and, nuclestr weaponry, chess i sperfectly bALAN CES rigth now and is one of the most competetive games intheo world, and even if you hyave a good rating (mine is higher it's like 550) you can't change the game just for the sake of it LOL, the only change that would work is nerf qwueens a bit they are too good :) but the game is FINE AS IS, though aybe i'm wrong lol, anyways toodles

y'know what'd be cool, if both players submitted their next move to an arbiter, and played their move at the same time. would negate white's advantage and bring an element of prediction into the game
