[SET]
Name: HARBINGER
move 1: Dark Pulse
move 2: Draco Meteor
move 3: Tera Blast / Flamethrower
move 4: U-turn / Flash Cannon
item: Choice Scarf / Choice Specs
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
tera type: Electric / Dark
[SET COMMENTS]
* With its high power and great STAB combination, Hydreigon makes for a formidable attacker.
* Tera Blast can be used in tandem with an Electric Tera type to deal heavy damage to Dondozo.
* Flamethrower is useful for hitting Steel-types such as Scizor and otherwise decent Dark Pulse switch-ins like Meowscarada.
* Flash Cannon is Hydreigon’s best option to hit Fairy-types such as Mimikyu.
Items
==========
**Choice Scarf**: Choice Scarf patches up Hydreigon’s somewhat lackluster Speed, allowing it to threaten a wider portion of the metagame with its high-powered attacks.
**Choice Specs**: If your team has another Scarf user, Choice Specs Hydreigon is a nuclear wallbreaker that can pummel unsuspecting teams.
Tera Types
==========
**Electric-type**: Thanks to Levitate and a Tera type of Electric, Hydreigon lacks any sort of weaknesses, and gains a powerful Tera Blast to hit Dondozo with, being able to break past it without fearing Fissure.
**Dark-type**: Tera-boosted Dark Pulse is an absurdly powerful weapon, and when coupled with its flinch rate, Tera Dark Hydreigon can potentially muscle its way out of otherwise hopeless situations.
**Steel-type**: A Steel Tera type can be used to get around the many Dragon and Fairy-types that try to revenge kill Hydreigon, though it is still vulnerable to Mach Punch from Breloom.
**Fire-type**: Terastallizing into the fire typing will grant Hydreigon a resistance to Fairy-types while removing its weakness to Fighting-types and giving it a good move to hit Steel-types with. However, unlike Tera Steel it does not grant a resistance to Dragon, and it also gives Hydreigon a few new weaknesses.
