Hyper offensive! And yes I get it, this team is weak to ice!

Hey, guys! Another RMT I'm going to type. This one is featuring a very old offensive team that I made few months ago before Blaziken was banned. So far there are 2 replacements and it works, still. I'll also list my 2 old Pokes so you guys may know, by the way. Also, this team was actually a randomly thrown team and now it is one of my few very decent teams. Anyway...

Decade (Deoxys-S) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Psycho Boost
Lead Deoxys! Haven't seen those in ages already. Previously the lead is a Blaziken which, I'll explain about him later on the end. Anyway, Deoxys' purpose is just to set up and die, or else save him till the spinner is dead. Nothing really else to know about him. Taunt saves some trouble and Psycho Boost for some extra damages.

Diend (Thundurus) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunder Wave
- Nasty Plot
Weird and gimmick set, eh? Well Thundurus' main role is to cripple other sweepers like Volcarona, Gyarados or Dragonites that gave me quite a lot of trouble or even Choice Scarf users, while Nasty Plot is what all Thundurus carries to setup and sweep. I don't prefer Focus Blast because it is too risky plus I got 4 others Pokes to take them on.

Lance (Latios) (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Trick
The main killer in this game. It used to be Latias but I kinda changed it for more brutal special attacking power. I don't know why I still got Thunderbolt instead of Surf, to be honest, but you guys can tell me if I should replace it or not judging by looking at my team. Trick is there to cripple walls or get rid of Eviolite that annoying NFE walls carry. Also need to hit hard with Draco, of course.

645.gif

Imperer (Landorus) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sand Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Fly
- Stone Edge
- Rock Polish
Yes yes yes I get it! 3 weak to ice! Weird stuff I know! But so far it still works. Anyway, original set, Rock Polish plus 3 attacks can really dent a lot of stuff and catch people off guard too. Perfect for late game. Fly is there to have extra stab damage if there is a Poke that resist my Ground hits or can live one but not from a Fly instead. Perfect for crushing sandstorm teams.

212.gif

Faiz (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 74 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Pursuit
- Superpower
Need priority, intense physical power, Pursuit trap Lati@s that are choiced and other stuff, that's all you need to know. Oh and my only Stee-Type too. Oh, and also an Ice-Type resist plus they since they are so uncommon and not that powerful, it isn't too much for Scizor to handle it.

392.gif

Kiva (Infernape) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
This team just gets weirder and weirder, huh? 2 Choice Bands now. But hey, need fire and fighting powers to take on other walls mainly or just, simply have fun with U-Turn. Also, I need Stone Edge for Dragonites or Gyarados because I am just so freaking paranoid about those things but I may considered about changing it to Mach Punch... I don't know, what do you guys think? And also, Ice-Type resist too, same thing like Scizor.

~Previous Pokemon I had~
257.gif

MEGAS (Blaziken) (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Dark]
- Vacuum Wave
Ahh, my famous lead MEGAS Blaziken, with many original sets I come up... Fun. Anyway, before Deoxys-S, it is Blaziken, with no Speed Boost. And no, I will not use that ability because I hate it and it is a disgrace, in my opinion. Anyway, this set really catch many many people off guard and it will result in a mini sweep and it can tear through half of the team with ease. Focus Sash is there because he is a lead and Vacuum Wave as his last resort move before he dies or in case he needs priority for a faster Pokemon that is about to die.

380.gif

Larc (Latias) (F) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Trick
Before Latios, it is Latias because Latias is so much more cuter and better design. But suddenly, I decide I'll have more power instead so I replace it to Latios. Sorry, Latias. Oh and they both had the same exact moves, so yeah.

--------------------------------

So I guess that is all now. This team won me many battles, does lose too but not that much compared to my other teams. What do you guys think? Let me know, please.
That's all now.
Bye!

Nice team max. i just found it weird that Thundurus is Timid, when it has priority T-wave, and i cant see many threatening ground types outspeeding a Modest Thundurus. Besides, the 20% SpA boost could make it easier getting by the likes of gastrodon, Rotom F and Quagsire. Also, two Cb's is kinda weird. And how many times have i seen that infernape? Gosh, i swear you have a CB ape in every team :P
Great team, hope you have fun with it, and i hope i could one day beat it lol

Thundurus was moved to uber (or so I thought, unless that has since change)... so unless this is an uber team you need to take him off. A Sub+Disable Gengar Could be vialble (since it can still force switches and has and offensive presence)

Well for starters this team isn't hyper offensive, it's heavy offense. Hyper offense involves a dual screener usually and then 5 set-up sweepers, which this team is not.

Anyway, this team needs a lot of fixing. Thundurus is uber, and that set is not gimmicky in any way like you said...I don't know where you got that idea from, because that was like his standard set. Switch Psycho Boost to Ice Beam for much better coverage (Psycho Boost is utterly pointless). Fly on Landorus is retarded. Put Hidden Power Ice so you have a chance against Gliscor. I recommend keeping Thunderbolt on Latios cause Gyarados shits on your team now that you have to change Thundurus. Starmie kind of shits on your team. I'd put Gastrodon over Thundurus, but that breaks your self-proclaimed "hyper offense" (lol)

Also, wut? That Blaziken set is famous? In what circles?

You don't need to be an ass to get your point across. Deoxys doesn't need an attacking move at all really. I would say use the extra move to set up screens or to use status conditions. HO also doesn't have direct guidelines as for team structure, and any offensively oriented team could be considered "Hyper Offense". Dual screens and set up sweepers are just the popular uses of Pokes on an offensive team, so stop acting like your God.

You're actually wrong. Hyper offense has a specific definition, as does heavy offense. This team is heavy offense. Make sure you know what you're talking about next time. Also, ice beam is great on Deoxys so he can come in on any Dragonite or Gliscor and threaten or OHKO. What does Psycho Boost do? Nothing. Most of the tier resists psychic.

Well, Psycho Boost can, iirc, OHKO offensively Rotom-whatever. It is also more damaging on a neutral target like Ninetails. However, those two mons shouldn't stay in against Deoxys-S.

But yeah, there are a lot of Psychic resists in OU. Ice Beam might prove more useful against Hippowdon, Gliscor, Dragonite, Latias, Celebi, etc.

Hey there.

Considering that Thundurus is banned now, i would like to second DEMo Gorgon47's suggestion on swapping it with a Sub Disable Gengar. Sub Disable Gengar serves as an effective Spin Blocker and it beats Conkeldurrs 1 on 1, which may be quite a threat if Latios is weakened. Other then that, it can also be switched into Choice Banded Terrakion's Close Combat, which may potentially OHKO / 2HKO the rest of your team members.

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Disable

Next up, I would like to suggest replacing your current Landorus set with a Choice Scarfed Landorus. Your team as of now is pretty slow, and a boosted Volcarona may be causing problems (Infernape takes a huge chunk from +1 Fiery Dance, not to mention some variants carries HP Ground / Water). Therefore, a Choice Scarfed Landorus will be solving all these problems. No Volcaronas would be outspeeding Landorus unless it gets to +2, which may probably not happen if you play cautiously.

Two Choice Bander users is pretty unecassary, therefore changing Infernape into a Mixed Variant would be a better choice for your team. Mix Infernape, which is usually known as Mixape can sweep unprepared teams if you switch it in at the right time.

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 68 Atk / 188 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fire Blast
- Close Combat
- Mach Punch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Note: Be sure to change the IVs to 30/31/30/31/31/31

Hope I Helped. Good Luck!
