Introduction
Hello Smogonites
Ok so I figured out I’ve been “stalking” on Smogon long enough, but still I haven’t done much (contributing ? maybe) besides asked some seem-to-be-noob questions. However, because I’ve got some spare time because I’m in a holiday now (lol, actually long holiday is for exam revision, mostly I would say) so I would provide you something fun and catchy to read, or at least that’s what I’d call.
So there you go, I will entertain you guys with my Wifi Uber team (yeah, I usually play on PO, but whatever, in my experience, there’s no difference between Wifi Uber on PO and Standard Uber on Smogon). Just a little fact about this team, I would call this team Hyper Offensive, and I’ve peaked 1384 after 2-3 hours playing and testing the team (to be honest, I suck at laddering, no consistency for me at all, once I peak about near 14xx, I stop laddering). It seems near perfect to me, however, because this is Hyper Offensive, so you would expect a lot of flaws coming from the team itself, and because I want it to be as good as it sounds, therefore I post a RMT (I have to retire soon because of all those revision flying around above my head, so this is my best shoot until next summer for you guys)

A little story here, one day I got fed up using Balance and facing Semi-stall in Uber metagame (because the fear of power of god,X-Killers, is commonly seen around, maybe), so I wonder, why not create a team with some creativity and outstanding power, yeah, Hyper Offensive came to mind. The idea of the team is simple, using Deoxys-S as hazard lead (which is more difficult, it just got banned, usage in Uber will rise so I can have more “Speed Tie” gamble), try to lay down as much as possible, then either using boosting sweeper to sweep, or switch around, find a way to elimilate threats first, so … Anyway, enough for emotional chatting, I shall show you my team … (and oh yeah, it’s not a theme team as its name may imply, but hey, just look at the color)
Here we go…
::

Team Building Process:
[ if you find it too long to read, just skip it, I just try to entertain a bit more here ]
One day, I wake up and next to me is the prince, no no no, CUT, but yeah, Deoxys-S is a true “handsome” prince for HO since hazard support helps a lot, also Taunt shuts walls easily provided that it’s still alive, so, 5 more to go
What can sweep things easily, both stall and some kind of offense if play correctly, well I choose you Groudon, since the Double Dance set is so nice, and it hasn’t been around because everyone’s so obsessive using max HP, max Def to counter, check, or whatever, that damn X-Killer, I want to make it alive once again
Well, how about one more thing that can also tear another team apart if they put their guard down, with or without set up, Mewtwoooooo, oh I can hear that sound too, it’s more than “a beast” in Gen 5, hello Blissey, hi Chansey, prey that you can live well after Psystrike
I don’t want to waste time set up hazard and then those Spinners remove my effort, a Ghost is needed, Ghost-Arc is definitely the best choice here, I don’t like Gira-O since too Dragon-weak means I’ll struggle in a metagame where Draco spamming is the best strategy
Big Specs Ogre weakness here, so need something to fix that, at first I chose using Scarf Dialga, because I wanted something that can revenge an unhealthy Arceus too, however Ground weak issue arose, and Dialga get 2HKO by Specs Spout anyway, so Palkia definitely a better choice
Something can resist ExtremeSpeed is a must now, I must cover it, I must cover it, ok Scizor, fair enough, I tested it and it worked wonder (maybe because there are no other better choice), but finally the team is complete, time to break it down again

General Comment:
Still the best hazards lead as it was, can lay 2 layers if play right, and also prevent the opponent having their rock laid down. However we are playing in the era where Wifi Clause makes it change completely. Other guys see me using Deoxys-S, they will prepare for it. However, the magic doesn’t just lay in the hazard lead, I can also preview their teams too and spot any weakness to exploit it, sometimes I just don’t need hazard and go straight to a setup sweeper (usually Ghost-Arc) boosting to +6 and then gg. Well, it depends on what kind of team you are facing though. Sometimes I face Dual Screen Lead, and to be honest that’s so annoying, I have no fucking methods prepare for that at the moment, only Taunt, then try to kill it so it won’t come in again, smart switch and revenge kill will help (sometimes cannot, because of that annoying screens)
EVs, Nature, Item:
Pretty much standard anyway, except those odd EVs in Sdef, but I found out there’re still not enough Deoxys-S lead as I expect, so I just want to live a bit longer. I will certainly change it back when people love using it again (PO will ban it soon, they just banned Excadrill)
Timid since it would be better to outspeed Deoxys-A and Taunt them, or Shadow Ball them
Focus Sash because it’s the best item here for Deoxys-S, guarantee more layer of hazard or he can just live a critical hit and Taunt
Moves:
- Stealth Rock: The most important and game-breaking move and the same time, what can I say here, this is priority, that’s all, it wreak those Flying-type like there’s no tomorrow, and yes, that annoying Lugia too
- Taunt: For anything that wants to cripple it by status, using it as a bait, or trying to SR, they will be crying like they haven’t for ages, sometimes people try to bait me with an Arceus, but S is a suicide lead anyway, so Taunt, SR, and if possible Spike, and die LIKE A HERO
- Spikes: the second priority here, however, if they are using many Steel pokes, then 2 Spike > 1 SR 1Spike, not much to explain here though
- Shadow Ball: just put a move here to break Sash, or other Deoxys (any form) and that Espeon (unlikely in Wifi) so I don’t know if I should replace with Extreme Speed or not
Why I named “LongHands”?
Very very effective hazard lead, I cannot ask for anymore, and besides I love those tentacles, hmm, no I mean those long-like-a-rope arms haha

General Comment:
With only 3 fingers on each hand, it has more destructive power than anyone else, no one knows why, because even Frieza had 5. Go back to the fact why I use Mewtwo, because I figured out this is the most fearsome wallbreaker as well as sweeper that ever exist, and I love this set than anything else, cover all Uber threat with just 3 move(except for that Shedinja, screw you there, oh wait, you can do anything with those hazard around, so my Mewtwo is fine), I don't like all-out-attack set because it's just much weaker, it still can break your team to hell, but it can get stalled out, or revenge killed without that +1 SDef
EVs, Nature, Item:
Straightforward here, not much to explain, max Spd and SAtk to gain the most offensive power, 4 Def is just random, I think it doesn't matter if it's 4 Def or 4 HP anyway
Timid because it’s nice to outspeed Shaymin-S or Darkrai and nail them with super effective hit, also Adamant Blaziken will have to risk 2 turn of Protect to outspeed me
Life Orb is for more power, taking out certain threats (with the help of hazard is always nice), however it means Mewtwo die more quickly, and because my team is so weak to hazard (especially Toxic Spike), whenever I see a Tentacruel, I have to find a way to break that shit or prevent it getting Hazard down. I know Tentacruel won’t do much damage and can be used as setup bait, but get Burn with Scald is a real pain, so I have to do the safe way
Moves:
- Calm Mind: as I said, +1 in SAtk and SDef is just so helpful, more power can sometimes KO the whole team, Palkia cannot revenge you with Draco anymore, CM when they Protect, lots more (except for that Shedinja, believe me, I used Shed once to troll, but it works amazingly)
- Aura Sphere: hmm, Dialga, Ferrothorn, Steel-Arc, even non-boosted X-Killer will cry
- Psystrike: the new toy that can turn Blissey, Chansey into dust, however, they can sometimes stall you out with Toxic, nevermind, Mewtwo KOs things and put a hole in other's team, open the gate for teammates to sweep next
- Ice Beam: with those Dragon roaming around, it's good to have an answer immediately, +1 Ice Beam can 2HKO that Lugia. Oh I just love you mewtwo
Why I named “3FingerHands”?
Hey just look at that hands, putting its 3-Finger Hands up, ready to crush you with its psychic power. Power, yes, power shall be mine. Ever wonder why the original, Mew, cannot have such a power ?

The greatest revenge killer, even though it’s not the fastest, but anyway, people just doesn’t like to use Garchomp anymore, and Scarf Shaymin-S and Darkrai is extremely rare, or that’s what I have seen. As I said, this slot used to be Dialga, however, x4 Water resistance is to nice to refuse, and Dialga means I have more Ground weak, if I ever face an offensive Groundon, spamming EQ could cause my team a lot of troubles. It’s main job is to tank Water Spout and revenge kill lots and lots of things, like Rayquaza, and that Gira-O, I switch out Scizor to lure Fire move and then double switch to Palkia, then *bam*, 1 Draco Meteor to their face (unless it miss, which sucks)
EVs, Nature, Item:
Max Speed is obvious, so 252 Spd and Timid nature, slap in a Choice Scarf to outspeed even +1 Rayquaza, and I don’t want to be a gimmick MixScarf or such, so I go straight for max SpAtk
Moves:
- Draco Meteor: greatest STAB in Uber, ok I don’t use Spacial Rend because its power is not enough to revenge kill many things, a loss in power is signficant and you cannot trust that 12.5% crit would happen very soon
- Fire Blast: Ferrothorn, Forretress, Scizor, they have to watch out for this, because I can predict when they come in and blow them away, I have Sun on my side to
- Thunder: The whole point of using Palkia is to revenge Kyogre right, so this move is a must, and 30% paralysed chance sometimes come which is really handy
- Hydro Pump: just a filler really, but because I’m so scare that Ho-oh will sweep my team so it got a slot (they’re rare in Wifi, but they’re still a beast, that SubRoost set), although in Sun means just neutral hit, but STAB is really good, so I try it out
Why I named it “PerfectHands”?
I don’t know, run of out ideas maybe, but those arms and hands are in good shapes, except for that tiny fingers, and hey you know, it’s a good mon, so why not give it the name, and yeah it sucks that its shiny form doesn’t have yellow color, such an outlier

And we meet again in this Uber, Scizor, once the #1 usage in DPP, still very powerful in BW and even when it’s used in Uber. It acts as my Dragon resist, revenge kill as well as Fire lure. I know it’s not a wall, but hey this is HO team, and this thing can help you to keep the momentum. Morever, I already chose to use Ghost-Arc, so I cannot use SD Steel Arc anymore. I used to use Roost Scizor, but it turned out to be the greatest bait for Dialga and Gira-O, so switch it back to CB. Have something can resist ExtremeSpeed is also nice, although Bullet Punch does only 3x%. If I predict correctly, I can Superpower that X-Killer and it have to take like 80% iirc, if it’s bulky recover X-Killer, it’s another story
EVs, Nature, Item:
EVs is from Smogon’s analysis, and it’s good, it can take some Draco Meteor (not much, but enough) and I will decide to go straight to setup sweeper like Ghost-Arc or Groudon and begin to boost, or U-turn out.
So yeah, Adamant can help Scizor to deal a good chunk of damage, Superpower or U-turn, and that’s the power made me choose Choice Band too
Moves:
- U-turn: keep the momentum, and deal damage, plus hazard, it would help my sweepers a lot. If they decide to stay, I can just go for the resisted mons take the hit, then it depends on the situation, more than that, it can OHKO Mewtwo iirc
- Bullet Punch: although it’s not very nice since Uber is filled with those who resist this Steel STAB, but at least I have some priority to revenge kill certain things like Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Shaymin-S, Tyranitar, weakened X-Killer, but oh well, it’s still not very nice in Uber
- Superpower: even without max Atk, it can deal damage heavily to those Steel and Normal type, look at those Dialga, they love switch in Scizor, here’s the reward
- Pursuit: kind of situational, very hard to predict, those who weak against it, have better option to deal with Scizor, W-o-W, yes, so I hardly use this move, unless I’m so certain the it will switch out
Why I named it “IronHands”?
It doesn’t have Bullet Punch for no reason, that move is its signature, and it’s red, it also sounds like Iron Man, so why not

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

Here come the god of the pokemon world, it has awesome stat spread, awesome movepool, and all the types that it can choose. I chose Ghost-Arc, because Lugia is such a pain to take down. I also use this very succesful against stall team when they busy spreading hazard, I just come in and proceed to +4, even +6 (sometimes I risk setup along with Ferrothorn, Leech Seed doesn’t matter, but only when I got a back up plan), then sweep. However, if I see a Arceus on stall team, I always assume it’s Ghost-Arc Max speed Max SpAtk, because my team really weak to it, so I predict when it comes in, and use Shadow Force the turn they switch in, so it stand no chance against me. Yes they can sack something and come in again, but at least I KO one key in their team, which is very crucial when playing HO
EVs, Nature, Item:
I follow Smogon, but I have 128 EV in speed, just to outspeed those who blindly copy the set and base 90 max speed without a scarf, but these days I see more and more people using max speed Arceus, so I’m considering doing so, but lost in HP can really mean a lot to me
Max Atk and Adamant seems to be obvious, hit as hard as it can, so nothing stands a chance against it
Moves:
- Sword Dance: find a bait, then SD and SD and SD, then both side type in gg, it doesn’t always happen like a dream like that, +4 is enough, although sometimes it cannot KO Kyogre with ES if it hasn’t been weakened
- Extreme Speed: God is not a God without this, it makes other team struggle finding a way to revenge kill it, Shadow Sneak with Gira-O ? I got Shadow Force here bitch
- Brick Break: thank God +4 is enough to KO specially defensive Ferrothorn, otherwise it would outstall me with Leech Seed, but anyway, it’s a good move to have since I’ve got the combo Ghost-Fight, perfect coverage here :yay:
- Shadow Force: Lugia is the reason I like Ghost-Arc best compare to other form, +2 Shadow Force will always OHKO, I know this move is predictable, my opponent can switch around and fool me, but hey, it’s good because that Lugia, or anything else that would stall me, now cannot
Why I named it “UnseenHands”?
The Hands of God, ok do you see it has any hand, no, of course, but everytime we have luck or bad luck, we often say it’s the hand of god, it’s invisible but it exist, so Unseen sounds really fit

Groudon @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rock Polish
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
The star of the show I guess. I’m really really tired of using max def max HP, acting passive and SR and Roar and Dragon Tail and Thunder Wave. Is that all the means of being a titan. It has power to sweep, it also has the bulky to take hits while it’s boosting. If you ever let this guy +2 +2, then you are fucked. Unfortunately, I’m one of those who always try to find opportunity to set up, and Team Preview helps me many many times. I may not be as good as you guys here, I admit it (because I used to play DW on PO, and I used to be suck at predicting) but when I play Wifi, my playstyle just become another things different, higher level than I used to be, I guess
EVs và Nature:
And again, this EV is taken from Smogon, I felt sorry for not being creative, I keep the old EVs since there’re not many Double Dance Groudon playing out there, and I don’t need to outspeed Scarf Shaymin, Scarf Darkrai, I have answer for that, therefore I chose Adamant as well
Leftovers because LO recoil is killing this guy, seriously I need this guy to be healthy and even gain some health all the time, so it cannot be revenged that easily. I can miss some KOs, but my plan is to weaken them first if I cannot find a turn to set up. I could slap in a Lum to prevent Burn status, but for now I prefer Leftovers
Moves:
- Rock Polish: if I’m facing faster mons, or kind of offensive team, I would RP first, or well I smell there are Scarfers around (Scarf Ogre …) this and SD, they depends on you to decide, look at the team preview carefully, you will know what to do
- Earthquake: I love EQ, Groudon’s Best STAB, deal about 70% to Choice Kyogre as they switch in, so its life is in danger, also Palkia can revenge kill it, and +2 EQ has a good chance to OHKO that damn annoying Ferrothorn, how about Skarmory, if I smell it coming, then SD once and smash it with SE, then let it phaze
- Sword Dance: good thing to have something that break through stall, but Toxic Spike and Toxic really hurt, so I have to make sure Deoxys-S done its job well, Taunt everything that can cause problems to this guy, and besides Gira and Lugia, it can KO the whole Uber List after just 1 SD
- Stone Edge: combo QuakeEdge is excellent, but 20% miss sucks, costs me the game sometimes, but what more can I ask for, the critical is there to smash through some mons that if it didn’t happen I cannot do at +0, it still sucks if it missed when facing a Flame Charge Ho-oh
Why I named it “GiantHands”?
That big hands are ready to slap in your face all the time, a titan that have such a power to sweep through many teams, and titans are always big and powerful, so it suits
---------------------------------------oOo---------------------------------------
Conclusion
So right now I'm happy because this is the first time I build Hyper Offensive for Uber, but the fact that I can't climb to higher rating makes me wonder, is that the team, or because I'm not that good
I hope it's a good read that I provided for you, with you are bored, and find this team interesting, then why not spend some minutes to look at it, and rate it, all rates are welcome, and I hope you don't bother that much about this colour.
Anyway, Read it, Rate it, Test it if you like (I won't use the word Steal, this team doesn't look so superior in any sense to me, but this team does make me proud)
See you later :)
Let’s Look At Our Champions Agains
Ok, I know you’re all tired looking at those shiny (but with ridiculous color) pokemon, so there you go

Playstyles

I will take it short here, it’s just my playstyle anyway, don’t take it seriously, you guys can also comment on it and help me to improve
~ picking the right lead can change everything, momentum, hazard, opportunity to sweep at the very first turns, so look at the other team and try to predict what they’re gonna lead. I have to be careful anway, because sometimes it’s a backfire, because I realise some people they don’t even care about picking lead
~ find an opportunity to set up is not very difficult, using set up bait is one of those, but sometimes I let something die to Draco Meteor, and then let Groudon or Ghost-Arc come in, boosting up and sweep, smart switching around does really help, but trying to outpredict to many times in a match can cost me the match
~ if I see an Kyogre, I always assume it’s Scarf so I can come up with better plan, because Palkia is not bulky anyway, they can fool me and kill me Palkia, which more than a gg for me
