I guess this is technically an art thread, though there isn't much in it yet. I have been meaning to have a go at digital art for some time, but I didn't get around to it. I wanted to 'dip my toes in' so to speak before I have a go with scanning and suchlike. I might think about getting a tablet if I really enjoy myself :) .
Anyway, I was messing about with dodge/burn today in GIMP, and had a go at some eyes. I liked the so much I drew a charmander to go with them, though I decided to focus on a face at first. It's nicely avatar sized, so feel free to use it for that if you want too.
I took a fair amount of inspiration from Rocket Grunt, 'cos he's awesome and stuff.
Anyway, my first proper piece of art!
(I'm not sure how to hotlink from devart, so I'm going to have to put it on Photobucket too. If anyone knows how, please let me know.)
I'm not doing requests yet, but look forward to that in the future.
