cookie's posts were made only 13 minutes apart, yet he claimed 4 hours had passed. How is this possible? The answer: time dilation
To put it simply, the faster you move, the slower you experience time. So how fast was cookie moving to experience a normal 4 hours in just 13 minutes? Using a time dilation calculator, I plugged in 780 seconds for elapsed time at body T0, this "body" being cookie. From there, I used trial and error to find his speed. When the result said around 14,400 seconds at observer T (four hours of normal time), I knew I found cookie's speed. But what exactly was his speed, you may ask?
299,352.35 km/sec! Or about 99.85% of the speed of light. Not bad for a Smogoff moderator
