Ideas You Had

some parody to the super hero genre, all I could think about this would be that the hero gained his powers in some dumb way like falling from stairs or getting hit by car. (not a truck, this isn't an isekai).

a restaurant that has a gimmick:

a wheel that you spin unlimited times and gives you random food choices.

the idea is to encourage the customers to get out of their comfort zone and try something new.

it is not gambling since the customers both pay AFTER the spin and have unlimited tries.

there’s a restaurant in philadelphia called friday saturday sunday that has something like this at their bar. you spin a wheel that has a variety of different components on it and whatever comes up they mix in a ratio of 1-1-2-3-5 so that each component has the potential to be in a major or supporting role

idk if there are other places out there with a similar concept but that’s one i know

24-36 issue Marvel elseworld concept:

The year is 2176. The United States of America is no more and hasn't been since the mid-21st century, done in by a massive civil war instigated by spiraling political tensions and external catastrophes. The landmass that bore that name is a paranoid mishmash of balkanized middle income states that have spent the past century on territory disputes, espionage and bursts of fighting, all powered by rival networks of superheroes and villains. In this morass a select few dare to dream of reunification, but this seems like nothing more than a foolish fantasy.

And then, one day, a man in cobalt armor baring a cape inscribed with the old American flag walks up to the San Francisco security forces of Kaiser Prime, the tyrannical AI overlord of the West Coast Alliance, and makes short work of them with unparalleled strength and speed.

Nobody knows his origins or his true identity, but when the masked stranger finally gets a chance to speak to the world they learn all they need to. For the first time in almost 150 years a hero has taken on the mantle of Captain America, and he fully intends to restore the grand union of the 50 states by any means necessary.

Thought this was the D-tier superpowers thread and I was quite confused

Just wait till you hear about smogon 3...

A fictional game show/reality TV thing where it's actually just the setup for a heist plot.

The central assumption of reality TV is that a big enough prize is enough to get people to scheme and betray each other, and that schemes and betrayal make for good content. But the end goal isn't really to prove yourself better than your fellow contestants, winning is just one method to achieve the actual objective: walking out with as much of the host's money as you can get away with. So what happens when the host ends up with people that are too good at scheming and too willing to go back on agreements to stick to the actual competition?

idea for a story (or even a video game):

a guy's soul gets isekaid.
he can only somewhat possess objects and he can only move from one object to an other object.
he has no way of directly communicating with people.
he has a limited ammount of time to return to his world and his body.

someone should make a 2d pokemon clone with the kinstone gimmick from legend of zelda the minish cap.

for those of you who haven't played that awesome zelda game I will elaborate on that mechanic:
  • you search on the grass and find half a kinstone
  • you find an npc with the other half of the kinstone
  • your kinstones fuse and dissapear
  • something good happens (such as gain access to an area, or make treasure appear, or unlock mini-games and missions etc).
it is a very addicting mechanic. it is a shame that no other game does this.

the tv show brainiac science abuse lied to us and made us think that Rubidium and Caesium make some really powerful explosions when they come in contact with water. they don't.

I used to have the idea to sell eco-friendly bombs that use these elements since they wouldn't produce fire and CO2.

if their explosions were this powerful it would require insane ammounts of energy to produce these metals which would be bad for the environment.

not to mention that fire-less bombs do exist
