Pending Improve Item and Ability Search commands

Currently, there are four search commands: Dex (and National Dex), Move (and National Dex Moves), Items, and Abilities.

While /ds, /nds, /ms, and /nms are upkept well, with categories, types, conditions, etc, but it seems /is and /as were left to rot, only pulling from their descriptions.

Can we improve these commands and restore them to an at least semi-reliable state? I'll even do this myself if I get the green light.

I've thought about this in the past but found it conceptually challenging, because moves are more similar to each other than items. Moves have these defined properties and categories to search on / search for, but making useful categories for searching items and abilities – especially categories people will actually use, and ones that provide an upgrade over existing functionality – was challenging. You'd probably want to work those types of problems out before coding.

I'm open to some pre-change discussion about potential categories/parameters.
It's just irked me that the commands exist, but can't really do anything because of how imprecise they are.
